An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Early in the morning at Shane residence, Luyisa was preoccupied in a deep conversation with the organizer about all the minutiae details of the wedding.

Pointing at a flower in the catalog, Luyisa exclaimed merrily, "Ahh... These were the flowers used in my wedding. Look at those bright colors! I love it already, It's so vibrant and fresh. I wonder what those young couples would choose."

Their conversation continued in a merry note.

In front of Luyisa stood an elegant coffee table occupied with different snaps of the wedding arena, it displayed the beauty and magnificence of the spot. On the side of the table, laid a catalog containing various types of decoration for the wedding stage, and most appropriate matching flowers to design the site.

On top of it laid the wedding invitation with a floral scent, the design was simple yet elegant.

While the conversation was heating up downstairs, Shane stepped out of the room with a little reluctance, he was fully dressed, and he looked like he was ready to go to the office any time soon.

Yet in reality, he had set necessary plan on a swing to spend the whole day with Anna on a date.

He repeated to himself as he walked to the chaotic room, 'Act natural! Act natural! Don't show your expectation. If Mother finds out, she will tease you till you die.'

Although Luyisa was preoccupied with the wedding plans, she instantly noticed the approaching figure, and at once she cheered in a high spirit, "My boy, here you are awake! Come take a look at all the arrangements, I have made for the wedding. How about these decorations, do you like it?"

Shane stepped close to her and sat on the sofa in comfort before taking a look at the catalog. Right now, his interest was set on the girl, and not on the decorations.

While he was waiting for Anna, Luyisa force fed the pictures onto Shane, and shoved the catalog in his hands to pick the detailed decoration for the wedding spot.

He picked up the flowers and decorations randomly with little concentration, his mind wandered imaging his plan for today. His patience began to wear thin as the time passed, 'Did that idiot not send the invitation card to my mom, Why is she not saying a word?'

The time dragged like a century, Shane positioned and re-positioned his seating posture time to time, and went through each catalog and played along with Luyisa picking details for the decorations.

While Shane was going through a hell of a time, Anna entered the living hall in her casual outfit. She at once observed Shane occupying the fine sofa, He wore an eye-catching exquisite outfit that fit his frame exposing his manly demeanor.

Instantly, her memory brought back yesterday's night encounter with him. She hung her head low in bashful and marched in awkwardly.

Luyisa at once observed the slight change of Anna's behavior, 'How frustrating! These kids have no spark at all. Tsk...'

She called Anna to sit right next to Shane. Just like Luyisa shoved the catalog to Shane, she urged Anna to Check the invite card. Luyisa so much hoped that Anna would be pleased to see the wedding location.

On the other hand, Shane strived to keep his anticipation in check, 'Why mother is not saying anything. Ohh... Let's just wait for a few more minutes. Yeah, Just a few more minutes! Be patient!'

By then, Shane heard Anna's exclaim, "Derah mountain?!"

Shane looked at Anna, and his gaze instantly fell on the pictures of the wedding arena spread in front of her. He grabbed the invite card from Anna's hands, and his gaze intensified at once, "Who chose this location?"

The organizer replied proudly, "Ahh! That was our bride dream destination to get married. Indeed it looks like, She was surprised too. Our organization has strong bonds, it was not at all hard for us to get permission."

'Who said it was not hard, it was damn hard!'

Anna looked bewildered by the organizer words, "Ahh?" 'My dream destination? What is she talking about?'

The organizer smiled awkwardly and enquired Anna, "Madam! Did you forget that you mentioned Derah mountain when I came in to ask you for the preferred location? You even reassured me. Did you just forget it."

Shane face twisted when he heard the organizer verdict, he fixed his orbs on Anna and observed every tiny expression she let pass out.

Anna looked troubled to answer back, She indeed remembered calling the name twice yesterday but never did she knew that the wedding planner mistook her.

Now how can she explain it to everyone? Speaking about Jacob was a taboo at Shane residence.

The organizer stood in the middle in a little awkward situation, she slowly withdrew herself from the spotlight and went to hide behind Luyisa, and leaving the space for others to discuss.

Luyisa interrupted Shane's intensified gaze, "Anna! Don't you worry! It's natural for a woman to have a dream about her marriage.

And you Shane! Ahh... Look at your face. I knew it's dangerous but it will take just half a day. Once done, we will be out of that place shortly. So don't get worked up!"

Luyisa's call made Shane snap out, and he quickly averted his hair-raising stare away from Anna who was now covering in fright.

To break the awkward moment, Luyisa further exclaimed, "Shane! You have been invited by your friends to attain the before marriage party. You must go and attain, and you also got to take Anna with you to introduce your fiancée to all. She got to know about your social circle too."

Finally, the part that Shane was waiting for. He felt a strange sense of delight run through his veins. Though he held a straight face, his deep brown eyes showed the happiness lied within.

On the contrary, Anna whole body trembled in fear. 'Ohh... Why is this happening to me? He is already unhappy with the wedding spot. What would I do, if he confronts me when we are alone?'

"Aunt Luyi! I am sorry, I can't go. I got an important appointment to tend to. Hope you let it pass this once."

Shane looked stunned hearing Anna's statement more than Luyisa, His scrutinizing gaze fell on her once more, 'Is she avoiding me?'
