Animeverse Slayer!

Leo and Shinobu were enveloped by a grey light as they shuttled through space. After an unknown amount of time both of them saw a faint glimmer in their direction. In the blink of an eye they jumped next to it.

When the grey light touched this piece of light in the void, it disappeared. Leo and Shinobu vanished with it.

The sky above a large town with high-rise buildings and busy streets.

A ripple spread out as two figures stepped out. Both of them looked around curiously, trying to understand what kind of world they entered.

Leo wasn't surprised by the high-rise buildings or the vehicles down below. However this was the first time Shinobu was seeing such a picture.

She was very curious. Snow who was perched on her shoulder ruffled her feathers while letting out a happy screech.

Leo rubbed his chin as he thought of something, "That was fast."

Shinobu heard him and asked, "Something wrong?"

Leo nodded. He took out the medallion and injected his spiritual energy into it. A moment later his face changed, a trace of panic could be seen in his eyes.

Shinobu captured this small change and asked hastily, "What's wrong? Did we enter a wrong world?"

Leo shook his head, "No. This was the one we were aiming for?"

"Then?"

Leo couldn't help but clench his fist as he said, "The space energy we stored for a complete jump to our world is gone!"

Shinobu was shocked. She was starting to worry, "If so, then how are we supposed to get back?"

"I don't know. But one thing for sure is that we need to fill the medallion again!"

Shinobu looked at him worriedly and asked, "But how? Even with Laffite and Flare's ability, it took us nearly five years to fill the medallion. Where are we supposed to find people like them?"

Leo saw her panic and took her in his arms. Hugging her he said firmly, "Don't worry. We'll find a way."

After a few moments both of them calmed down. Worrying about it won't do them any good.

Looking at the hectic town Leo said, "First, let's take care of our lodging. I brought a few gems with me, that should be enough to buy us a house."

Making sure no one was watching they descended at a secluded area.

They started to walk around, trying to find a jewelry shop.

Along the way everyone focused their attention on them.

Shinobu was a stunning beauty. She wore a flower patterened dress. She had supple skin with a healthy flush to it. Her hair fell down her back like a waterfall. And a beautiful butterfly hairpin adorned her hair.

As for Leo, he was tall and lean. He wore a white shirt with a white jacket and black pants. The top button was undone adding a hint of wildness to him. And his pair of pure blue eyes had a peculiar charm that drew in everyone's attention.

A perfect couple!

Everyone who saw them thought inwardly.

Leo and Shinobu weren't bothered by their prying eyes and walked. After going around the street for a while they found a shop.

The shop looked luxurious. Several variety of jewelry were on display.

When they walked into the store they grabbed the attention of everyone inside. A staff walked to them with a wide smile.

"Honourable sir, what would you like to buy?"

He was very polite as he spoke. He felt stifled as he stood close to these two. This kind of pressure that could only be borne by those of high status or power.

Leo smiled and said, "We are not here to buy anything."

"Then...

The staff asked cautiously. He didn't want to speak out of turn and offend these two.

Leo reached into his jacket and took out a small gem. It was red in colour. The moment it was exposed to light the gem stated to glow.

The staff nearly popped his eyes when he saw the gem. He wasn't an expert in analysing gems but he was sure this one was extraordinary.

"Sir, Madam, this way please."

The man lead them to a private room. When they disappeared the people inside the store burst into chaos.

Leo and Shinobu waited for a while. They were given refreshments of the highest quality while they waited.

After a while a middle aged man walked in excitedly.

"Sir, Madam, my name is Tanaka. I am the appraiser for this branch of Moon's Beauty."

Leo gestured for the man to sit down.

"So?"

Hearing Leo the man started to speak excitedly.

"Sir, that piece of gem is one of a kind. It's colour and structure is the most perfect of all the gems I've seen in my entire life!"

Leo raised his hand and stopped him from speaking any further, "I am not interested in any of that. How much are you willing to pay for it?"

The man coughed and realised he was too excited. He adjusted his tone and said, "Sir, we can give you this much."

He gave a check to Leo. The number of zeroes on it was quite satisfying.

Leo nodded. He gave the check back to the man and said, "I've one request."

The man said immediately, "Please. If it's within my capability I'll surely help you."

"Then open an account for me and deposit this money in there."

The man was stunned and asked, "That's it?"

Leo smiled, "That's it."

The man clapped his hands and said, "Done!"

He gave the check to his assistant who left immediately.

Tanaka smiled and said, "As a thank you for your patronage you guys are now considered VVIP's of our company."

He handed out two black cards with five diamonds embedded on it.

Leo and Shinobu accepted the card.

After waiting for a while the assistant came back with a bank card.

"Sir, the password is 123456."

With their business done they naturally left. Before leaving Leo asked curiously.

"What are you going to do with the gem?"

Tanaka smiled and said proudly, "As the number one in jewelry industry we Moon's Beauty will have the best craftsman created a perfect necklace with this gem as it's core. It's will be phenomenal."

Leo smiled at the passionate man. He thanked Tanaka and left.

"Well, it's a hit late to go out to buy a house. Let's settle in for the night."

Shinobu nodded.

They hailer a taxi and asked the driver to bring them to the best hotel around.

Soon they reached a high-rise building with luxurious design and decoration. Giving the driver a big top both of them entered the lobby.

Lik before they were the center of attention as they stepped into the lobby.

Walking to the reception Leo smiled to the female receptionist, "Your best room, please."

The female receptionist was stunned by the perfect couple and failed react.

Cough. Cough.

A man standing next to the receptionist coughed, bringing the woman out of her trance. She blushed and immediately said.

"Of-Of course, sir. Just a minute."

She booked the grand suite for them. After paying both of the walked upto the elevator.

Watching them leave a female staff asked, "Did he just use a Diamond card?"

The female receptionist nodded.

Several females looked at Leo greedily. Handsome, tall and rich. A perfect man. But when they saw the mesmerising beauty next to him their d.e.s.i.r.e died down.

Not bothered by the staff's reaction both of them waited for the elevator.

Ding!

The doors opened and both of them stepped inside. Just when the door was about to close.

"Hold the door."

Someone yelled out. Leo reached out his hand and held the door.

A moment later a chubby man rushed in. He wore a suit and had a dignified aura to him.

"Thank you."

He thanked Leo and Shinobu. He was startled when he saw the perfect couple, however he smiled and minded his won business a second later.

Meanwhile Leo and Shinobu were looking in the man's direction curiously. Accurately speaking they were watching a woman with a chain dragging from her c.h.e.s.t floating next to him.
