Ascension Or Journey From World To World

Usually, at the end of each volume, authors write an afterword. This is not quite an afterword, but rather the "Answers to Questions" that readers should have had.

Let's start in order:

Momonga, why was it necessary to make him a woman?

Honestly, before starting to write, I thought about this moment for a very long time. My first idea was: "I need to use <Imperio> and make Momonga quit this game ..."

The next idea was for Ray to create his own guild and destroy the Ainz Ooal Gown already in the "New World".

Both of these ideas were inappropriate. As I wrote earlier: "Momonga is perfect to be the God of Death ...", I'm not talking about his personality, I'm talking about the game character. In particular, his race <Overlord> is the Supreme Death Caster.

I think that attentive readers have long noticed ... all the wives of Ray have their own personality and elemental proximity.  The exceptions are Fleur and Gabrielle, both of them are users of holy magic and light magic. And in the next worlds, there simply will not be a suitable character for the role of the Goddess of Death.

You can say: "Hey, but there is Zesshi. Or you could add an NPC."

Zesshi ... it could have worked out, but she's a melee fighter. And basically, she's a pure Destroyer.

Regarding the NPC. I do not want to use characters from other animes. That is why MC did not create its own guild.

Susu is an exception, she just replaced Aureole Omega, just like Yukino replaced Momonga.

I removed such characters as Rubedo, Nigredo, Gargantua, Victim, Neuronist, Kyouhukou.

Aureole Omega could not be removed, in the canon, she is one of the strongest NPCs (level 100), she is the leader of the <Pleiades>, and it is she who controls the teleports in Nazarick.

In addition, she is the guardian of the "Forbidden" eighth floor on which Rubedo lives.

Rubedo is the strongest NPC, she can easily defeat Touch Me (Creator of Sebas) and Ulbert (Creator of Demiurge), and they were one of the strongest players in Yggdrasil and took places in the top 10 (Momonga was in 80th place). This is the canon. But since Rubedo does not interact with the plot, she could easily be removed.

Magic. Why didn't MC become super-strong?

This is not a suitable world ... If you did not know, even super-tier magic is very limited.  Such magic can be used no more than 2-4 times a day. Mana is considered very flexible energy, but let's face it, super-tier magic is equal in strength to A-S rank Jutsu.

As mentioned earlier, the only advantage of the <Overlord> world .... loyal subordinates and materials for creating armor and weapons.

The Tree of Life. And why does it have such a name?

This is a good question. Why exactly Nordrassil if the appearance of the tree is Sakura?

At first, I wanted to call this tree <Ame no Mihashira> it translates as <Sky Pillar> or something like that. But due to the presence of elves, I decided to change the name.

Why didn't MC contact the Holy Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Dwarves, the Alliance of Cities, the Dragon Lords?

Ha, why does he need this? MC is much stronger than all the creatures from the <New World>, why should he engage in any nonsense?

This is the main difference between fanfiction about the multiverse from fanfiction about one universe.

In fanfiction about the multiverse, MC should benefit in every world and move on. No need to stretch the plot. It doesn't work like that.
