Grand Line. Somewhere in the sea.

A black ship sailed through the waters of the Grand Line. This ship looked very menacing, but it did not have any pirate flag. However, on its white sails, Black Dragons with red eyes were depicted.

There was a table on the deck of the ship, at which four people sat, a man and three women.

Not far from them, on the deck lay a large yellow duck.

"Vivi, no matter how rude this sounds, but you are damn weak. Your strength is equal to the strength of ordinary extras or cannon fodder. If you want to protect your Kingdom and become a worthy Queen, then you need to start training and become stronger," looking at the sixteen-year-old blue-haired girl, Ray said.

Grand Line. The Alabasta Kingdom.

Alabasta is an established kingdom with a long history. It is located on Sandy Island roughly half-way through the first part of the Grand Line. 

Sandy Island is a Summer Island. It is arguably one of the largest islands in the first half of the Grand Line, containing several cities and towns and a massive river

The Alabasta Kingdom is a very old country. There are few oases, but where they exist a town is likely built around it. Some older cities are now in ruins, while new ones also exist. The Sandora Desert is extremely desolate and is usually only entered for travel. The cities are further divided by the Sandora River, which splits the country in half.

Rainbase.

Rainbase is one of the few cities within Alabasta that continued thriving even during the drought, mostly due to the gambling industry. Due to this, it has been referred to as the "City of Dreams". It also appeared that this city was not very much effected by the drought, having a moat surrounding Rain Dinners. The city was the Baroque Works' main base operated by Crocodile and Miss All Sunday.

In the middle of the city was the largest building, Rain Dinners. Rain Dinners was a casino, restaurant, and resort owned by Crocodile in Rainbase. The building is the largest in the city and is in the shape of a pyramid, with a golden crocodile statue at the top.

In one of the rooms of the Rain Dinners, a middle-aged man was sitting at a large table.

This man was the <Desert King> Sir Crocodile.

Crocodile is a tall man with a wide c.h.e.s.t, broad shoulders, muscular arms and legs, and a thick neck. He has pale skin and nape-length black hair which is kept neatly slicked back. 

Crocodile has various battle wounds, most notably a long stitched scar at the bridge of his nose that stretches across his face and a large hook made from a tough gold alloy in place of his left hand. His eyes are deep-set and heavy-lidded, and his thin eyebrows are characteristically drawn upward in the middle. This gives his usual facial expression a feeling of condescension and distrust.

Crocodile wore a bright orange, black-striped button up vest over a long-sleeve peach shirt, along with a blue scarf, dark brown suit pants, and polished black shoes with gold buckles. He also wore a long, thick, dark pelted fur coat over his shoulders.

Its appearance resembles the image of the Italian mafia boss.

In his hands, Crocodile held a Wanted Poster, he carefully looked at it and frowned.

"It cannot be him. This man has not been seen for more than ten years. He disappeared as unexpectedly as he appeared. I am sure that this is some kind of bluff or a distraction maneuver. They are trying to distract my attention from these <Straw Hat> Pirates? Useless. These children will not be able to interfere with my plans."

Crocodile got up from his seat and left the office.

A tall and slender young woman with shoulder-length black hair and eyes that has dark, wide pupils approached Crocodile's table.

She wore a revealing cowgirl outfit consisting of a purple cleavage-exposing corset and matching miniskirt, both with white ornaments hanging from them, and a white fur-lined coat paired with a white cowboy hat and white high-heeled boots.

The woman took the Wanted Poster into her own hands and began to carefully examine the photograph of the man depicted on it.

The Alabasta Kingdom. Somewhere in the Sandora Desert.

The Sandora Desert is a large desert that makes up the majority of the land of Alabasta that is not inhabited near oases. The desert is very ancient. Sand dunes can pile up to 300 meters.

The Sandora River cuts through the desert.

As in any other desert, there is very little water in Sandora, and most of it is in the oases.

The air temperature exceeds 50 °C, and the sand heats up so much that you can fry fried eggs on it.

A girl with blue hair fell face in the sand and stopped showing signs of life.

Three people, a man, and two women approached the body of the blue-haired girl lying on the sand.

Alubarna is the capital city of Alabasta. 

The city is built on a plateau near an oasis, and there are four long flights of stairs that act as the only entrances. Directly outside the town is a group of ruins.

In the center of Alubarna is the Royal Palace, in which the Royal Family and their servants live. The Royal Palace is a grandiose building with a roof in the form of golden domes, which is very characteristic of buildings built in the architectural style of the Middle East.

Ministers, Commanders of Royal Guard and King of Alabasta, Nefertari Cobra gathered in the throne room of the Alubarna Palace.

Cobra is a man of average height. He has a wrinkled face, a tied-off beard, and long, curly, black hair. He wears a green robe with yellow edging, an orange and beige sash around his waist, and a purple coat. He also wears sandals and a necklace.

At the moment, King Cobra was shouting at his ministers.

"You want to massacre! Do not you understand? It will simply destroy the country! The country is its inhabitants!" Cobra shouted.

"Someone pulls the Kingdom for strings… And this someone is our true enemy! We must not fight with our own citizens. We must expose this puppeteer," he added.

"But we have no clue about the identity of this puppeteer. If we continue to be inactive, this country will be completely destroyed and it will be too late to save something or someone," one of the ministers said.

"King Idiot. You are chasing two rabbits," came a man's voice.

"Who !? How dare you insult the King," one of the Royal Guard Commanders, Pell, shouted.

All those present in the throne room began to look around and look for the one who insulted the King.

They saw a man, three women, and a big duck stepping out of one corridor.

They immediately recognized one of the women and the duck.

"Vivi!" King Cobra shouted.

"Princess Vivi!" Pell shouted.

"Vivi-sama!"

"Princess!"

"Karoo!"

They already forgot that their King Idiot was called an idiot...

Vivi didn't answer, she just looked down.

Ray stroked her head and said, "Vivi, do not be sad. You can try to stop this battle and massacre. We will support you... But if you fail, then we will take everything into our own hands."

"I want to try to stop them from unnecessary bloodshed. But... Ray-sama, if I fail to change anything... Please help me," raising her head and looking at Ray with her teary eyes, Vivi asked.
