As Vali has only two months left before the entrance exams, he focused all of his attention on increasing the levels of his newly obtained skills rather than increasing his power levels through fighting.

And with that in mind, Vali would everyday go to the Asgardian blacksmith's workshops to work on increasing his Blacksmith skill. When he first tried out blacksmithing, he used only the forge to melt the metals. But, as Vali thought long and hard about it, from the second time onwards, since the first one following the traditional method took him about a day to even create one decent product, he uses his devil fruit ability of fire to help him in heating or melting the metals as well as his ice powers to make the metals cool down faster.

Although using ice is not the best of ideas or might possibly be the worst idea and method to cool down metals, as Vali is trying to quickly increase the levels of his skills, he did not care about the quality and durability of the things he produced. Even if his products are close to unusable, as this method gave him a faster method to increase his skill levels rather than the traditional method. He chose to do it this way.

And when he is smithing, he would use his Kenbunshoku Haki to try and see without using his eyes. As the flame used to melt the metals are scorching hot, even though Vali possess a passive logia body, it could burn him a bit. And to protect himself from any injuries or burns, he would activate his Bushoshoku Haki and cover every part of his body. Although his spreading his Bushoshoku Haki over that large area would reduce the effectiveness of it, Vali had no choice except that route if he wants to fully protect himself.

And when he would be done smithing one product, Vali uses his sword skills to inscribe runes on them. Similar to how he did when smithing, Vali would not use his eyes to feel and see where he should place his runes and instinctively uses Bushoshoku Haki to protect himself from any harm although there would actually be no harm.

As for increasing the level of All Speak, Vali did not initially know how to increase it. But after speaking to people when he can for several days, he found out that the level of All Speak had increased. With this Vali knew that he only has to talk in whatever language to increase the level of All Speak. And he would keep on speaking to himself like a crazy person even when he is alone smithing and writing runes.

Every day, Vali would follow this cycle to increase the level of his skills. During the first two weeks, Vali would be extremely tired and exhausted. But as time goes on, his exhaustion gradually decreases and after a month, he found it to be more bearable.

And even though Vali is not training physically to improve his power level, due to the severe stress and work he put himself through, his power level still increases and finally broke through the 1000 mark.

When the end of the two months approaches, Vali had tremendously improved himself. Although there is not much change in his appearance, he is still incomparable to what he is before.

This is what Vali stats look like after two months of intense training. Every single one of his skills had increased except for his Haoshoku Haki. And the increase in his power level is due to the fact that he has pushed himself severely and him hammering away while practising his blacksmith skill.

And with the increase in his devil fruit level, Vali found out that he the effectiveness of his devil fruit had increased to a 5000 power level. This means that only from Tier three high-rank warriors would be able to inflict damage on him and the flame of the forge is not able to burn him anymore.

Since Vali spent all of his time training, he could not test out whether his devil fruit is weak to any large water bodies. In fact, Vali was scared to test it out as he remembered that his luck is one of the worst and this testing could potentially lead to his death.

But, the best thing he gained from the increase in his devil fruit level is that Vali could now completely merge his fire and ice ability and stabilize it for an extended period of time. When Vali merges both his fire and ice powers, it turned into a bluish-green colour flame. And instead of being scorching hot, the bluish-green flame exudes a chilling feel.

Also, with his level 5 sword skills, Vali found out that he could summon over 500 sword energy blade. And he could merge this small sword energy blade to form ten greatsword that floats behind him and could be controlled by him easily.

And his sword skills combined with the power of his devil fruit merging with the sword energy blades, Vali could now cut through any unenchanted and non-special materials. And when he uses this combined skill, Vali found out that even if he could not cut some things, it would still burn it up a bit.

Another new skill Vali gained from this level up is that he could now control the energy and aura exuding from his body and hide them almost completely to make himself look like a normal person.

Although Vali's own power level is at the mid-rank warrior, he could definitely now win against tier 1 and even most of the tier 2 high-rank warriors. The power of Vali possess right now is simply monstrous. This is something unprecedented and has never been seen in the history of the nine realms. An eleven and something years old kid possessing the power to defeat tier 1 high-rank warrior is something nobody would even dream it to be possible.

And when Vali first obtained rune magic, he entertained the thought of applying it on his swords. But as he wanted better enchantments, and is not in an absolute hurry, he chose to wait for it till the level of his skill increase to a much higher level.

And soon, the two-month limit ended and the day for the entrance exam had come. Before going to the Asgard Warriors Academy, Vali checks his admission form to see if there is something he could have missed.

After going through his admission form, Vali nodded his head as he saw that everything is perfectly filled up. And for the subjects, the Academy required a person to take at least three kinds of subject to learn. So, Vali chose runes magic, blacksmith, languages and sword fighting classes.

As for the subjects Hela chose, she chose almost everything related to magic, dark magic, creation magic and sword fighting.

With filled admission form in hand, Vali and Hela went to the Academy where they had previously visited with their father.

When the two reach the Academy, at the gate, they saw several people queuing up to get inside. And like all the others before them, Vali and Hela too queued up and wait for their turn to get in.

" Your admission forms? " asked a man who stood guard at the gate.

Immediately, Vali handed his admission forms to the guard. After handing his form in, the man stares at the admission form and said, " Hmmm..Rune Magic, Blacksmith, Languages and Sword fighting." As the man said this, he went and took out a card from and place it above the admission form so as to scan it.

As the scan is finished, the man gave Vali the card and said, " Check the card for your exam routine and the route for your exam rooms. " After the man said that, Vali entered the campus with the card in his hand and waited a bit for Hela to finish handing in her admission form and receive her card.

As soon as Hela finish and receive her card, she immediately went to Vali's side as she saw him waiting and said, " Brother good luck to your exams. "

" Good luck to you too. " replied Vali. After this, the two soon left for the buildings and went to their own respective exam rooms.
