Assassin Initiate

Hearing my question, Jane became silent, then after some time,

"Sorry Young Master, I can't tell you that. You have to find the answer yourself."

Hearing her answer, I got confused. But, considering her, she might have some reasons. Also, the way she said it, do II know the answer. This made me more confused. Lets leave that asiddee for now.,

"Fine, if you don't want to tell me. Let's leave going out for tomorrow. I'm tired after all this."

The whole experience wore me out mentally. If I have to experience it every time, I doubt I will last long. That fear of unknown object entering your head.

As it was evening currently, I went upstairs and just did some browsing and all.

"Jason, dinner is ready." Mom's voice came from downstairs.

"Coming." I turned of my computer and went to eat dinner. On the dinner table, Jane joined us, the reason she gave was,

"I currently don't have money to buy food."

That's what she said, mom just laughed it off and told her to come anytime she want. This maid, she just need an excuse. With her capability, she can find something to do for money.

During dinner, mom suddenly said,

"Hey Jane, what do you think of Jason?"

I nearly spat my food out.

"Mom!! why are you asking her this??"

"Look at you, behaving like a girl. You are already old enough to be married, but not till today have I seen your girlfriend."

"Cause he doesn't have one Mom." Minu calmly stated while eating.

"That's even worse. My son this old, and don't even have a girlfriend, that's why I had to be a matchmaker. Anyway, Jane what do you think of Jason?"

*stab* I felt like my heart got stabbed when mom said I was single.

I just kept quiet and just ate quietly.

When Jane heard this question, she asked herself this question, What do I think of Young Master?? Then past memories played in her mind, a newborn boy crying in cradle, a boy studying on floor of library whose bookshelves reached the ceilings and a young man practicing in combat arts and then his smile. When all this flashed by, Jane subconsciously said,

"Young Master is the coolest person."

When Jane said this out loud, there was a pin drop silence on dinner table. When I heard this, I looked towards Jane and saw she was in a dream like state. I never saw her showing an expression like this. She looked just like a maiden in love. Adding with her natural beauty, she looked like angel. But now was not the time to admire her beauty. I looked toward the other two and as expected, both had dumbfounded expressions. Mom then broke the silence

"Um...Jane, who is this Young Master you spoke of??"

When Jane heard this, she came out of her own world and remembered what she just said. She then looked towards me. This moment of hers didn't go unnoticed by Jenna. Jane at last said,

"Young Master is the man whom I serve as his personal maid. He is the best." She said all this with her usual straight face. When she said this, there was another period of silence. God this maid, how can she say something like this.

"But currently I'm asking about Jason." Mom.....Why are you still pressing on after seeing her expression.

"Sorry, but I don't want to talk about this....currently."

What does she mean by currently?? But I guess this answer satisfied mom as she stopped asking questions.

The rest of dinner was in silence. I couldn't bear it so I finished early and went to the roof.

Every one else soon followed, leaving only Jenna alone washing the dishes,

".....Young Master, huh. How many years ago was it some one called him with that....." She mumbled to herself while doing her work.

On the roof

I came up and just gazed at the city lights at horizon. After sometime, Jane came with Minu. Both were talking about something. Jane having a light smile and Minu having a big smile. Both were looking like best friends and talked. After some time I went to my room and slept soundly.

The next morning.

Currently I'm with Jane, standing in front of a building. That building was having a big board hanging at one corner of front with words, "Urban Running". Although the words were lame, this was the one and only parkour park in the city. Additionally it had many other sports too. The building was only 5 floor high but was very wide. The whole building was having orange, black, and white paint. It's structure was also like pop art with some portions popping out of wall.

Looking at it, I said to Jane,

"Let's go, I'm quite excited now."

We entered the building, paid and directly went to the Parkour area. The parkour area was mainly 5th floor with some more area on roof. I directly went to a wall with some protruding parts(the rock climbing) on whole wall and started climbing. When I started climbing, I just instinctively felt like grabbing this part will be good. The second time, I was able to jump at other parts and grab them. The third I nearly ran up the whole wall. This felt awesome, and most importantly, I'm not tired. In my excitement, I went to another wall, it was nearly a floor high but had only one line protruding out in middle across the length of wall. I practiced climbing like Shay whom I saw, and tell you what, I failed miserably. Every time I tried, I fell down. Reason was that, the wall above the protruded part was high, and jumping while hanging was not possible for me. I gave up on it. I went to few other things and tried my hand on all those I could. Some failed, obviously. When I got tired, I rested. While resting, I looked towards Jane. She was currently in a tight sports attire. Black leggings, yellow too and white shoes. Her hair done in a ponytail with a ribbon, and as her hair were quite long, her ponytail reached her feet. She had to tie another ribbon at the middle too due to the length of her hair. Due to her beauty, she was getting looks every time. Looking at all this, I smugly thought, Yes, you all idiots, this woman here is my personal maid. I looked at her and said,

"Jane why don't you try it too. Looking at your clothes, you obviously want to do this."

"Young Master, I had to make sure that you don't injure yourself while practicing. And also, if I don't dress up like this, I will stick out." You already are.

"But now that I'm resting, go and try it."

"No Young Master. These scale of equipment is not enough for me, these are too easy." Hearing her say these are easy, made me feel shameful to fail in some parts.

"Okay, fine." I sometimes wonder how many times have I let things involving her slide, and also, why do I do this.

I finished practicing and we went home at evening.

The same events like yesterday didn't happened. I'm glad about it.

*step* *step*

When I was asleep, I heard footsteps. I woke up and focused. I found out that these footsteps were coming from the rooftop. I took my phone and saw that it was 1:16 AM.

"Who the f.u.c.k is at the rooftop??" I was angry that. someone disturbed my sleep. I searched for something to grab and found a bamboo stick. I took it and slowly made my way upstairs.
