Attack On Titan: Alternate

The cadets were all sent to their respective positions. While getting into small squads, Someone came to get Mikasa to be sent to the rear with the elites. She and Eren had a little squabble but she went eventually.

During this time, Aria and Annie have been put in the same squad again. For some reason, they have always been paired up, It is a strange occurrence. Eren and the others were put into a different squad so they went in a different direction.

Flying through the air, Aria was looking around for Titans. As they were the ones going to be fighting, she had to find the ones nearest and eliminate them. Annie was beside her also looking for Titans.

Around 300 metres away, there stood 4, 12 metre Titans. Aria looked over to Annie and said "2 each?" Annie nodded and replied "Be careful" Aria smiled "Don't worry, id me more worried about you" Aria took of with a smile while Annie followed behind.

While looking at the first Titan she would kill, she made sure there weren't any others hiding around while she focused on the Titan. After checking, she flew towards the Titan picking up speed. The Titan was just aimlessly walking around so it had no idea that Aria was coming. Aria latched onto its neck with one of her grappling hooks and put her swords in a reverse grip. Without giving the Titan time to turn around, she sliced into the nick of the Titan and flew away.

Seeing it fall to the floor, she took a breath and looked towards the second one. It had already noticed Aria so it started running towards her. Aria quickly dodged and flew up behind the Titan with speed, she then retracted the hook which made her fly towards the neck of the Titan, she sliced it once more and it fell just like its friend.

After completing the kill, she landed on one of the rooftops to observe the others. As she turned towards Annie, she saw her kill the final Titan. Seeing her fly through the air, made her heart skip a beat "So beautiful"

Annie had finished Killing the fourth Titan and flew back and landed next to Aria. They quickly went to find the rest of their squad, but that was only a dream. The moment they saw them, they were all inside a Titans mouth. Aria widened her eyes and saw their bodies being crushed to death. Annie didn't seem to well after seeing it either. They quickly finished of the Titans before they could reach any further.

Aria turned to Annie "Are you alright, it wasn't pleasant seeing that." Annie turned and looked at Aria and nodded. "Yea, i believe that we will see more of it in the coming years." Annie thought about what they would have to go through when they went on expeditions. All she wanted is for her to return back to her father. Suddenly, that reminded her of something.

"Aria, When we go back to Marley, what will my dad say?" Aria hadnt thought about this and started to think about it. She quickly replied. "Umm, i think my mother must have sorted it out. She said in the letter that she visited you when you were a young girl?" Annie also thought about it but seemed to find no answer.

"I have no recollection of your mum visiting us when i was younger, maybe i just forgot" Annie shrugged it off and pointed towards the kicked in entrance, "There are more coming" Aria looked over and nodded "I guess we will have to find out when we reach your home"

After agreeing to go over and fight more Titans, they started to fly over. Aria looked down towards her blades, seeing them chipped and blunt, she cursed "Such bad quality, do they want us too die?" She released them, and attached new ones.

While flying through the streets, there were some blind spots that she could see so she could only guess on what would happen. She looked towards the cl.u.s.ter of Titans in front of her with excitement. However, just as she was about to line up for the first kill, an abnormal one jumped out and caught her by surprise.

"Oh, s-" Seeing her arm inside the mouth of the Titan, her heart rate increased and adrenaline started pumping round her body. What should she do, think, think. Time ticked by slowly, suddenly she had an idea, Teleportation. She hadn't used it yet so use it.

As the Titan clamped down with its mouth, her figure had disappeared from the spot. Aria reappearing near Annie, quickly crashing onto the roof top. She slowly got up rubbing her head. She looked down to see her right hand missing.

In that moment, Aria nearly screamed, but she repressed it. Annie had also seen this weird phenomenon and raced over to Aria.

"Aria, are you alright!" Nearly shouting it, Annie landed and grabbed onto her. Aria quickly camled her down and said "Dont worry, its only a minor injury. Anie also looked down to find the right hand missing. Shocked, she quickly said "Are you sure?"

Aria smiled and said "It'll regenerate soon, you have that power as well, remember?" she giggled and looked towards the direction of the Titan that took her hand "You little bastard, you haven't even seen me when i'm angry. You wouldn't like me when i'm angry"

While she started regenerating her hand, Annie kept a lookout so they wouldn't get caught. It took around 5 minutes to regain the hand she had lost. But she was grateful to have this power. If she didn't have it, she would of been stuck like that.

After getting up, she informed Annie that she had finished. Annie was surprised by this "How did you regenerate it that fast?" Aria said "Oh, simple. All you need to do it focus on what part you want to regenerate. It will decrease the time spent and it works faster then just leaving it." Annie listened intently gathering more information about the way Titan shifters work.

One thing still bugged her though. how did Aria appear out of thin air? "Aria, how did you appear out of thin air?" Aria froze on the spot. "uh, its a little complicated, ill tell you when things have cleared up"
