Attack On Titan: Alternate

The next few days were spent doing patrols and helping each other get control of their new powers. Due to only hearing of Magic in books, Annie never thought it would be real. She was quite excited about it and wanted to learn more from Aria.

Aria had no concerns, so she started to teach her a few things about spells and how to use it to reinforce her body with magic. Meditation was another thing that needed to be addressed, Aria talked about having a clear mind and slowly gathering the Elemental Energy. Annie also picked it up very fast, by the end of the week she was able to enter the late stages of the Earth realm.

Aria also made huge progress, jumping into the early stages of the Sky realm. Having done that some new information showed up for her too look at.

'hmm, it just added the Elements i can use as a technique.' She didn't fret over it and asked Ill.u.s.tris.

'can i see Annie's stats?' Ill.u.s.tris was momentarily silent before answering. "Yes master, just buy the skill (Appraisal)" Aria nodded and had a look for the skill. After buying it and having little to none left, she saw her status update.

She looked over to Annie who was silently sitting in a lotus position while diligently cultivating. Using the Skill, Annie's status popped up.

Seeing her status, she smiled. Being in late Earth realm so quickly is amazing. While staring at her, Annie slowly opened her eyes to the staring Aria.

"Why are you staring at me, have I become prettier?" Muttered Annie as she got up to get dressed for another day. Before getting further she heard Aria voice

"Yea" Annie spun her head round and glanced at her. "Really?"

Seeing this reaction from Annie, Aria couldn't hold back and laughed "why would I lie. However, you've always been pretty in my eyes" Annie blushed and turned back and got dressed. She pouted and mumbled "Why can't I tease you"

The two started the day by reporting to the officer who gave them their tasks. However, they were surprised when he told them that a new expedition was planned and would have to attend lessons. They agreed and had to travel to the Karanes district were the the expedition will start.

The journey took around half a day while Aria and Annie were casually talking with the others. Many of the males were over the moon and tried to chime in from time to time to get a reaction from the two.

After arriving the were asked to go to a specific building were they will be taught about the mission. It didn't take long to find so they entered and saw a a large classroom. They looked around while many people stared at the two, they ignored the stares and sat down near the back. The teacher came in and looked around, he nodded then put up a large piece of paper with a formation on it. it showed were everyone would be placed.

He also explained other things such as the flares and what to do in case the sight of a Titan. This lasted most of the day and had made a lot of people bored. While others would would be writing down notes, many others would be listening or not paying attention. Aria and Annie had their minds enhanced with their cultivation so they could remember it easily. Others like Armin wrote it down so he could look at it more deeply.

Getting back to their dorm, Aria asked "So, what are you going to do?" Annie turned around and thought about it before saying "Ill try and catch Eren on the day, it would be easier like that."

Aria nodded and said "If you get into trouble call for me alright" Annie smiled and got changed into more casual wear. The night was already late so they went to bed to wait for the expedition. Waking up the next morning they got dressed into their scout gear and headed out to the meeting point.

The gear they had to collect was simple, Their ODM gear, Flare guns with rounds coloured red or Green. a horse of their own and an extra in the group of three. In the group was Annie, Aria and surprisingly, Yimir.

Yimir saw them and smirked "Hey love birds" Annie blushed while Aria smiled and said "Get any further with Christa?" She sighed and commented "I swear shes so dense, i even said id marry her and she pushed it off like it was nothing" Pouting she tried to find Christa in the crowd.

Aria smiled waited for everyone to get ready, it took around half an hour until they got ready to set off. After a small talk from the Commander they set of for the expedition.

One they got out, they spread out to a considerable distance and set of south towards the Titan Forest. Only the Levi squad knew what would happen there so they went on their way. Aria was distracted as she just got a notification from the system.

'Mission: Save Annie from Eren. Reward: Universal Martial Skill token'

"Save Annie?" She wondered for a moment before something distracted her. A red flare had been launched on the right side. The three girls looked over and waited for the commanders response. The green smoke from the front was aimed to the left so they veered to the left.

This kept on for a while before Annie came over and said something, "I should really transform, what should i do?" Aria thought about and then said "If you transform now, ill handle the rest with Yimir ok?" She nodded and proceeded to slow down gently. Waiting for a second, she took out a small knife and slit into her hand. A flash of golden light spread out and covered the transformation process. Out of nowhere, a female Titan ran past the two who looked at her. Yimir had a surprised expression while Aria was interested in how it would feel to be one of those Titans.

Yimir looked at the Titan then back at Aria with a confused look "Shouldn't we catch her?" Aria smirked and said "Your the same as her, Don't worry i wont say anything, i'm the same as well." Yimir heard this and cautiously said "How do you know?"

"I know, because i can see the future"

"What" Yimir blanked out and stared at Aria.
