Avatar: Blacklight Virus

Third POV

After a few days of traveling, the group finally saw the northern warmer tribe's borders. Azula willed for shou to start swimming instead of flying so that the water tribe people won't panic at seeing a sky bison heading towards their place. Soon, the group was met with some of the guards and was asked the purpose of their visit. Katara answered them and they were allowed entrance.

Azula and Zuko changed their clothing to one of the water tribes before entering the north water tribe waters to decrease suspicion. Katara and sokka agreed because even though they think that zuko and azula wont hurt anybody, they are still from the fire nation and they will not be able to gain entrance easily if found out. Going inside the gate, the group was mesmerized by the sight around them. Crystal clear sculpture. Buildings covered in snow. Clear waters flowing in the canal. Different species of fish swimming in them. All of these took the breath of them 4 especially Azula since on earth, all he saw were pollution and destruction.

"This is amazing." Said azula in a whisper, but zuko still heard her and replied to her. "Yeah it is. I can't believe something like this existed." Azula, when she heard this looked up at him and smiled which caused zuko to blush. 'My sister is the best.' Thought zuko. "Alright Katara, sokka. Looks like our journey together is finally over. I want to learn more about water bending so why don't we go and find us both a teacher." Said azula to Katara and sokka. Not liking the part where they will have to separate soon, sokka and Katara noded with a sad face.

Soon they entered the palace and was met by

The chief and a few other people. "I'm Arnook, the chieftain of the water tribe. How can I be of service to our guests?" Asked Arnook. "I'm Katara if the south water tribe and this is my brother sokka, the avatar Azula and her brother Zuko. We came here seeking guidance in the ways of water bending." Katara said in one breath looking determined but you can see her shaking which means she's still a bit nervous. "I object. We don't teach women how to bend. Only the males of the water tribe are allowed to be taught combat. If you want to learn water bending, you can learn the way of healing." Said one of the people surrounding the group.

Azula laughed a little bit at that which caused that person to get angry. "What are you laughing at?" Said random guy

"Nothing. Just at your stupidity." Said azula back. Arnook sending the tension increasing decided to b.u.t.t in the conversation. "Our tradition forbids us from teaching women combat but I can make an exception for the avatar. As for you Katara, you'll have to prove yourself first to one of our masters before he'll decide whether to teach you or not." Said Arnook which made Katara frown but didn't say anything. "Show our guests to their rooms. Master Pakku, will you teach the avatar how water bending works? As for her friend, I'll leave it to your decision." "I will." Answered pakku and left. Once the avatar and gang were shown their room, they all decided to spend the rest of the time sightseeing. Soon evening came and they went back to their rooms and slept.

The next day. Azula and Katara arrived at the palace and met pakku, Arnook and a girl about their age with white hair.

"Good morning avatar, Katara. Meet my daughter princess Yue. Yue, meet the avatar azula and her friend Katara." "Hi I'm Yue. Nice to meet you avatar, Katara." Yue said smiling to them both. Azula and Katara introduces themselves and after a few minutes, they headed to the training grounds with Pakku and the princess.

"Before we starts our training, I want to know where you're experienced are at so that I will know where to proceed. Katara, you first. Hit me with everything you've got." After saying all that, Pakku made a stance watching katara's every move. Katara started forming icicles and pushed it towards Pakku. While the icicles were heading to him, Katara sent a stream of water as well and tried to freeze Pakku to immobilize him. Pakku, seeing the icicles, erected an ice barrier just on time before it hit him, freezing the icicles in place and unfroze it while sending the water back to counter katara's stream of water. After that, he made some water bullets and fired it towards Katar. Seeing the water bullets approaching her at a fast speed, Katara quickly formed an ice barrier, but due to her panicking a little bit, the ice barrier was thin and the water bullets destroyed it and Katara was hit. She screamed due to the pain and was knocked off the ground.

Due to her being off balance, she didn't notice another attack sent to her by Pakku. A water whip submerged her and slowly froze her leaving her head to be able to breath and hear what Pakku has to say. "You clearly are a disappointment . You say you have talent, but from what I can see, all you have is your mouth talking. You didn't formulate enough plan and rushed Straight towards your enemy. You didn't even tried to test the waters and immediately went for the kill. Water is the most flexible element able to be harder than rock, sharper than wind, and more destructive than fire. The only limit is your imagination. Your mind was clouded while bending which in turn made your water bending weak and have no force in them." Pakku continued to lecture Katara and unfroze her which he then notice the necklace on katara's neck.

"Why do you have that choker on you?" Pakku asked Katara with a frown. "My gran gran gave it to me after my mother died." Answered Katara. "Gran gran? Is her name Kanna?" "You know gran gran?" Asked Katara bewildered. "That choker, is something I made for her as a gift. You'll be starting your training tomorrow 5 am sharp. I expect you to be here before me. Now go back and rest. I have an avatar to train." Katara heard what Pakku said and was filled with joy. She left shortly and the training resumed with Pakku and azula.

"Now avatar. Show me what you've got. No usage of other elements. Today we'll be focusing on water bending only." "Okay" replied azula. After making a stance, azula slowly controlled the water surrounding Pakku. She made them swirl around her forming a water barrier and then made ice spears and sent it towards Pakku. While doing that, she thought of making ice spikes form the ground like how earth benders do it and so she did it. Pakku, distracted from defending from ice spears all around him failed to notice the ice spike forming under him. Azula made it blunt to not kill Pakku and launched the attack which hit Pakku straight on the sternum which knocked the air out of him and made start having a coughing fit. Azula worries that it might kill him, though she doesn't really care, still tried to help him out by using the healing water bending he learned from one of the avatars' memories.

"Are you okay master Pakku?" Asked azula worriedly(faking) to Pakku. "Yes I'm fine. Didn't know you're a master water bender already. Why did you want to learn from me?" Questioned Pakku while looking at azula with suspicions. "I never learned with a proper master. All that I know came from watching other benders perform. I wanted to see your opinion about it so that I can improve my techniques better." Said azula with fake sincerity. This cause Pakku to look at Azula with an improving gaze and his doubts towards her slightly diminished.

"Where are you from anyways? The avatar has not been seen for a hundred years and suddenly you're here." This made azula stopped for a few seconds before looking at Pakku. She told him a few lies about how she was born in the earth kingdom from a water tribe parents and they found out she's the avatar by accident when she tripped while playing and the air caught her. Then one time while they were playing in a river, one of her friends almost drowned and in her panic, she made the water move which saved the kid who was drowning.

Azula knows sooner or later, her lies will be found out but she didn't care as when the time comes, she'll just walk her way through it since she doesn't really think anyone here can beat her. She thought about the time she finally absorbs the moon and ocean spirit and she couldn't wait. All she has to do now is wait for general zhou's invasion. When that time comes, her plan will finally be put into action.
