Avatar: Terror Of The Red Spirit

There were two people sitting together around a table drinking tea, one was an elderly man and another was a boy and both were adorned in fancy red imperialistic clothes. It was Kuro and Azulon.

"What do you think of this jasmine tea?" Azulon asked.

"It actually has a stronger taste then previously. It's good."

"That's because I myself found this jasmine, I was walking down a mountain through a forest and I found this monstrous jasmine and it's smell was amazing. I figured I'd would make great tea for us to enjoy together."

Kuro did the cute aw and thanked his grandfather. His grandfather Azulon before he was born was a cold imperialistic man that cared more for power than family but unlike Ozai he still cared for his family. Then when he was born Kuro spent a lot of time drowning his grandfather in cuteness and as he got older he would share simplistic positive views and philosophies whilst looking like a child.

( Azulon and Kuro playing a game:

"Kuro when playing a game you should always try to outsmart, out calculate your opponent."

Kuro smiled before placing a paisho tile."Or simply facing things head on!" he yelled enthusiastically like an anime character.)

Kuro would spend days playing with his grandfather and happily talking to him. And so after many years Kuro slowly managed to bend the ingrained beliefs inside Azulon and replacing power with family first and then power second.

This payed off today as today will be the day where Azulon will order another round of attacks on the Southern Water Tribe.

"Kuro. Guess what? I'm going to get rid of the evil meanies waterbenders from the southern water tribe. What do you think? No more evil meanies."

"But Grandpa why get rid of evil meanies? Didn't you say that the world needs balance? For the world to be balanced there has to be good and bad. Besides, are the Evil Meanies that bad? It's not that I don't believe in grandpa's stories but I want to see them for myself. Can grandpa stop attacking Southern Water Tribe today?"

"What! Why? Don't you believe in grandpa when he wants to protect you from evil meanies?"

"But why fight? When you can make friends with them. Isn't that better than hurting people."

Azulon reconsidered his decision and decided to stop the ship before it sets sail.

[Flashback ends]

A year has passed since Kuro and Lu Ten have arrived in the Southern Water Tribe and now they live in an icy terrain inside an igloo where the temperature is freezing cold whilst not having shirts or shoes swimming in ice cold sea.

And after a year the brothers managed to master the technique of controlling temperature inside their bodies and the temperature of their flames. Kuro began a secret project a few weeks ago and has little to no success until today.

Inside the igloo on a wooden table he was sitting besides and on the table was a dead salmon fish. Kuro put his hand on the fish initating contact and then...

Finally!

The fish started to freeze and ice began to cover it from top to bottom, it was now a salmon icicle.

"Hey Yami! Katra just said she can beat you in a snowball fight! Come let's show her the consequences of insulting the Snow King Yami!"

An eleven year old sokka walked inside the igloo but then he saw the fish being frozen into ice which caught him off guard.

"You're a waterbender. Or maybe an Icebender - But you're still a bender! This means you lied about not being a bender!"

Sokka pointed whilst doing the haha and before he could run out of the igloo Kuro grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards himself and looked straight in his eyes before saying.

"I am not a bender. You might not belive me but I actually did not do it but rather the spirits. I have contacted them and told them to freeze this fish. Do you believe me?" he said in a serious low tone which kinda scared Sokka.

Sokka simply nodded saying. Yes! Yes! Kuro then told him to keep it a secret that he can communicate with spirits as this would bring him danger which Sokka nodded again.

"Now then you said something about Katara beating me in a snowball fight? Come let's get her!" Kuro smiled before they departed from the igloo.

During this one year he taught the kids some martial arts, especially sokka but the most important thing he taught was how to defend against a firebender and that was only to Sokka and Katara who were the only oldest kids in the tribe.

During this year it was hard to conceal their firebending but they managed. But for a firebender to not use firebending not even once during a year was uncomfortable for both of the brothers but somehow they feel stronger.

Poof!

A snowball rode the air like a raging motorcycle and struck Katara's forehead taking her by surprise. Katara, Hakoda, Kya and hakoda's friends were sitting by a fire eating roasted fish but then a snowball hit katara in the head.

The suspects revealed themselves as they towered over them standing top on the hard snow walls. Yami (Kuro) and Sokka.

"I heard one of you's can beat me in a snowball fight. Come at me! Snowball War!"

Kuro declared as he and Sokka started gathering snowballs in their arms and throwing them at everyone. But did everyone stand there and take them? No. A full on scale snowball fight erupted once again with two teams, one katara, her dad and mum and her dad's friends and the other Kuro, Sokka. Mid-way joined by Lu Ten who was fishing, the three boys were good as their snowballs hit most of them very fast and precise like bullets but only Hakoda and Kya remained as Kya used her waterbending to redirect the snowballs whilst Hakoda was good at dodging and predicting their attacks.

But the boys still managed to beat them. The boys surrounded Hakoda and threw so much snowballs that every inch of his body was covered in snow whilst for Kya they tricked her.

"Fire Nation!" shouted Lu Ten as he pointed.

Kya immediately looked that direction as she was worried but she didn't realise till the second she directed her head; that was enough time for Kuro to get behind her and barrage her with snowballs before she could react.

"I am the Snowball Champion! Snow King Yami!"
