So Kuro and his grandfather Azulon spent some time talking about Ozai. Kuro wanted Ozai to change so he asked his grandfather if he could spend more separate time talking with him but his grandfather at first refused as Ozai was a crazy man and didn't want his favourite grandchild killed by his crazy son. But Kuro managed to convince him and so Azulon sent Ozai and Kuro to Ember Island for a week to spend together.

~ Kuro's POV ~

Man - Ozai is so stingy and mean just like he's always been can't this man ever change and grow up? He's a man in his late twenties and yet he's arguing with a child. But I guess that is to be expected I mean who in the world would call themselves Phoenix King so cringy for a grown a.s.s man to call himself that. Though it does sound cool but Ozai is a future lord and lords should not care about titles and instead focus on the development of their subjects; this man is the opposite of a ruler and more of jerk.

Ozai is a very passionate man though he focuses it on something stupid like world conquest and power when he should've focused on his wife and kids, that's why he lost his wife who went for an actor instead which is really pathetic. But even if he focuses on his family he'd still be a terrible father like...right now is a sign he's bad with kids I called him a loser so he tried to throw me over the ship tell me if that's not being a prick.

This guy is cruel, he's a psychopath as he will killing millions, hurt his family, kill his father what made him so cruel? Was it that passion for power and conquest, is it that since he wants it so badly he would not care for anything else?

Why am I even bothering trying to change this guy in the first place I knew from the start i'd be a drag. so why? Well first of all it is just a test to see if I'll even manage to change something in him however it is a test with benefits as I hoped to better the life of my family, making Zuko happy and even more s.e.xy aunt Ursa happy as well coz at least she wouldn't suffer anymore by the hands of the a-hole. She had to give up the love of her life for a prick that would mistreat her, she was his cousin's mother and so she was his mother in a sense. He'll make her situation better and maybe they might fall in love (like in those stories where you have the duche fall in love and then he starts changing for the good like vegeta slowly fell for bulma). Not only that but Ozai will kill my grandfather who's nice to me and I don't want him to die. Overall it's hard changing fire nation people, it was hard to change his father's and grandfather's, who both were happy murderers, perspective of life and war whilst still being a boy it garnered him many suspicions however he managed to change them; however Ozai is a tougher nut to crack.

But this is gonna be hard, really hard. Ozai is a stubborn man but does that mean I'm gonna back down? Hell Nah!

~ Ozai's POV ~

Yesterday I was called by my father Firelord Azulon out of the random and he told me that I'll be going with that blasted kuro to Ember Island. I asked why but he would not give me an answer and so I left with that worthless brat on a ship heading to Ember Island...For a week!

At the start of the first day as we were on the ship I noticed a change in the eyes of the brat I wonder is it determination or stupidity? Either way I don't care I'll try and evade this child otherwise I might just kill him from pure rage, it'll be easy.

" What you looking at? Loser!"

Guess not! I grab the brat by the legs and I was ready to throw him over the ship but I stopped myself and calmed myself down. Who does the brat think he is trying to make me look bad. One day I'll kill him!

On the second day we've arrived at the island we logged at the same inn, even our rooms were close side by side which I disliked as I wanted to spend time away from him. I check my belongings for a spare of clothes and I find my other set of clothes being a loose red sleeveless shirt and dark grey shorts along with a pair of brown sandals. I decided to stick with the royal clothes on me. I then go to the beach and I decided to sit on a chair and view the sky I'll one day fully own. I sensed the presence of someone else at the beach looking at me but how? I ordered the soldiers to scram, when I turn around the presence disappeared.

On the third day I wake up to find my 'only' set of clothes burned right next to my bed. Great now I'll have to wear those rags. I already know who did this. BRAT! I put on the rags and I storm inside his room early in the morning to find him all ready dressed in the same fashion as the other clothes I had, he was the one that changed my other pair of clothes for rags...I am more angry.

"You are the culprit! Before I make you feel pain I ask why you have done the deeds you did?"

" I just want to spend time being close to my uncle Ozai. "

" Yet I do not want to!"

" Why? "

" Coz you'll make me lose control and I just might want to kill you any second."

I smiled as I said it maybe to scare the brat.

~ Kuro's POV ~

I took Ozai to the empty beach where we sat and discussed ideologies and even by countering his claims and arguments he still wouldn't budge and would call my ideas for the weak.

Flash few days later and I try everything to change him but he wouldn't listen. I always tried to tell him that family is important, on and on. I actually made him open up and the first time he started developing this prickiness was when he is father was favouring his father Iroh over him and would spend more time with Iroh, teaching him and having more family bonding whilst Ozai was always training and studying and then he had the idea to rule the world. Well that's the gist of it.

On the final day whilst I was at the beah alone an assassin came out of knowhere and was ready to kill me. I took him down but more appeared and I was out of energy.

Boom!

Everything changed when uncle Ozai attacked, the assassins were subdued by ozai with ease and sent for questioning.

"The only one who can kill him is me."

Ozai said right before kicking those assassin's backs.

"Uncle Ozai! You saved me thank you! Are you good now? Did you stop thinking about world domination?" Kuro asked.

" No I gave not stopped thinking about world domination are you crazy? And what do you mean by 'good' huh! You think your uncle is not a hero of the fire nation, plus have I not just saved your hide and this is how you repay me? Oh and no! I wasn't thinking about saving you it's just those assassin's annoyed me. You know...I think you are right though I should be more 'Considerate' of my family. Now come on! Back to the ship - can't be bothered staying any longer on this blasted island! And Not A Word of THIS!"

Phew! I managed to change Ozai into a family man and retain his villany! Otherwise if I did change his whole ideals into a good person's then I might have to replace him as the villain.

And so I went back to the ship and back home. Ember Island and Ozai are a pain in the backside!
