Avenger From Another World

Hatta's loud shout has gained the attention of everyone in the room, and afterwards, he proceeds to suggest a proposal.

"First of all, Pope Baton, you said that the element of darkness only belongs to the demon and monster from the Demon God army, right?" question by Hatta while he's still looking at Xiao with suspicious eyes.

"That's right, only high-rank demon and monster, but legend says that there was a man who also possesses the magic element of darkness, who's the first hero of darkness," says Pope Baton as he looks at Hatta, wondering what he meant when he said that he had a proposal.

Hatta moves out from the group and walks to the centre of the room, facing the crowd and says:

"Yeah, the hero of darkness, the one who erases darkness through greater darkness or the bearer of all evil, I believe everyone in this room knows about this myth, but who actually believe it to be true, I mean, no records or doc.u.ments were found, all we know is the myth came from the Blank era. How did this myth come around? nobody knows. Who was the first one that spread this myth around? nobody knows."

Hatta paused his words for a moment as he looks around to see the reaction of the crowd, people were deeply affected by his words as they were starting to question the origin of the legend of the hero of darkness.

Seeing as he holds the spotlight in the room, Hatta continues, "So did you all see what am I trying to say here? The hero of darkness is just a fairy tale, a bedtime story for kids, even Pope Baton said that only demon and monster have the element of darkness, it makes no sense at all for a living being, the creation of our five great gods, to be gifted with the element of darkness."

Hatta then turns to face Xiao, who's already frozen in fear from all the attention given by everyone in the room and also confused as hell on how thing turns out to be.

"So let's look it at the most logical way, I think there's only one explanation why this man here, who came out of nowhere, brought by the exiled madman, Lars Leo, possess the element of darkness," said by Hatta as he is closing to conclude his deduction about Xiao.

Hatta looked at the crowd, the newly appointed heroes and the king, he knows everyone was thinking the same conclusion, and with that in mind, Hatta proudly announce his deduction as he pointed at Xiao:

"I believe everyone comes to the same conclusion, that's right, we believe that this unknown man here, is a Demon!"

Xiao shakes his head furiously to deny Hatta's deduction, he was being paralyzed by his trauma because the situation is going to the same direction as before, he is being falsely accused again.

"No....no....I'm not...."

Xiao tried his best to shake off his fear and speak out in denial, but his voice was too soft that it got covered by the restless voices from the crowd.

The second person who spoke out loud was general Blake, his loud voice grabs everyone's attention.

"Now that I think of it, he's the only one who survived while all his family was dead, which doesn't make sense, right? Is it just pure luck? I don't think so. From how I see it, you're the one that leads the Umbra to kill off the candidate of the Light hero and his parent! Isn't that right? Minion of the Demon God!"

As general Blake spoke his mind, others in the crowd also make their speculation, with two spoke person that make such convincing speculation, everyone believes it as they begin to show wariness towards Xiao as they take a step back away from him, the guards also slowly reaches to their weapon, ready to pose a stance even without any order.

"WHAT?! NO! I'm not from the Demon God army, and I did not kill my family, in fact, I nearly died for Godsake!"

Xiao shout out in denial of the stated speculation, His voice was shuttering from the pressure of his trauma, yet he grips his fist so tight it bleed, as to shake off the trauma that was paralyzing him.

Xiao's effort was futile, no one bit of his words reaches anyone in the room, as to them, Xiao was an unknown outsider that possess malicious magic element, these factors were enough to consider Xiao as a threat to them.

"And you think we will believe you? even after the crystal of truth show your magic element is darkness, which belongs to the Demon God army? What are you going to say about that? Huh?!"

Hatta further questions Xiao with his loud and rude voice, which make Xiao speechless for he didn't even know why he had the element of Darkness as he thought he would just replace his brother, which is the element of Light.

(No, no, no, not again, not again, why? why is no one believing in me? why did you all look at me with those eyes? Even I run away to the other world, shit like this still happens....)

From mockery to threatening, from light to darkness, from respectful guest to hostile treatment, the situation changes so fast that Xiao still can't comprehend it, it was going to be like what he experienced in his world again, no one believes in him, no friends, no family and the truth buried beneath outrageous speculation and false claim.

"Your majesty, please give me the order to execute this man immediately, we must eliminate any possible threat from the Demon God army."

General Blake bows down to the king as he was saying while the king was observing the situation, seated at his throne, without giving any of his comment from the start.

The King thought for a moment before getting up from his throne, he then was about to give an order, until a creepy voice interrupts the moment.

"Oh my, oh my, another execution ending. Hehehe! You sure can't run away from the fate of execution. Hehe."

The voice came from Lars, who's been quiet for some time until now, his speaks in a playful and loud voice while walking towards to Xiao, his words were directing to Xiao, who was already in despair state as he just stands still while looking at the floor.

Xiao was startled by Lars's voice, he lifts his head and saw Lars coming to his direction. Xiao was about to ask Lars to clear the misunderstanding everyone had on him but he stops instantly and does a quick-thinking, he begins to recall how everything leads to this mess.

(I get it now, it was the ritual before I came to this world, he did something to my body, and that ended up giving me the element of darkness, that's the only explanation. Goddamn it! I should have known he is a bad sign from the start, I should run away the moment I get to this world, at least I won't be in this mess right now.)

Xiao was already furious by the time Lars stopped beside him, he looks at Lars with full hatred and disappointment and shouted:

"YOU! What did you do to my body?! Don't tell me this is your plan from the start? To sacrifice me as a mean for your plan?"

Despite Xiao's outburst, Lars completely ignored him as he dances around like he was excited for what happens next.

"Shut your mouth! Lars Leo, don't think I forget about you, you will be executed too for bringing him to our kingdom!"

General Blake shouted at Lars in anger, he then proceed to make a hand signal to the guards, which they immediately draw their weapon and was ready to apprehend them.

"Pointy sharpy weapon is out, what you all gonna do to me and my poor little lord here? Hehe."

While Xiao was angered towards him and panicked by the guard action, Lars was grinning crazily as he spouting nonsense and joking around.

"Throw that madman and the minion of the Demon God into the cell, I will deal with them later," ordered by general Blake to the guards.

(Damn it! Let's forget about Lars already, he was a madman from the start, I need to act for myself from now on. At this rate, I'm going to throw into the cell again, and it won't be long before I got executed, so I need to escape, as soon as chance arise!)

Xiao has already abandoned the idea of staying with Lars at this point, he was now looking for an opening to run away until a sudden voice grabs the attention of everyone.

"Hold up! general Blake, I believe it would be unfair to label them as a threat without conducting a proper trial."

That calm and confident was from Pope Baton, Xiao was relieved upon hearing his voice as Xiao was glad that he was the only rational person in the room.

"And this is why I have a proposal to resolve such incident," spoken out loud by Hatta out of nowhere.

"Alright, pray tell your proposal to resolve this incident," asked by Pope Baton.

"We will give him a trial, and the chance to prove his innocence, prove that he has no affiliation with the Demon God army. The trial is pretty simple, all he has to do is to display his strength to us, right here, right now," said Hatta while he was doing simple body stretching.

"By that, you don't mean...." asked curiously by general Blake as he sort of figure what Hatta's proposal is about.

Hatta smashes his fist to his other hand's palm, grinned out an exciting smile and says:

"That's right, a duel with me!"
