Chapter 317 Sealing Taniguchi

The purple sunset turned red, and the blue Taniguchi was stained with blood. Three thousand grass rat-like tribesmen, along the undulating mountain pass, confronted the two thousand tiger-and-leopard-like imperial guards.

Under the banner of the black wolf, the imperial guard warriors formed a battle formation, swinging their batons alternately, and powerfully slashed at the enemy's head, neck, chest and abdomen. The dog-born tribal people fell down like corn stalks, splashing out the vitality of the big canopy. The tribal people have a loose formation, low morale, lack of war experience, and almost no threat in battle. They stabbed out the stone spears, but only left shallow holes in the cotton armor of the warriors, and were immediately beheaded by the sharp sticks. The sound of rapid fighting came in the wind, and soon turned into a dying cry and a scream of terror.

In just a moment of fighting, more than 300 dog descendants fell to the ground. The tribal people's formation swelled up like a balloon, and they were in disarray, and some people kept turning around and running away. Thousands of red fox fighters lined up in the rear, firing bone arrows mercilessly, driving the tribesmen who were afraid of retreating back to the front line. Then, at a distance of forty or fifty steps, they threw a rain of arrows, struggling to harass the warriors' formation.

"Follow me to charge!"

Botard looked at the red fox fighters who could lead the formation, and led three hundred jaguar warriors to launch an assault in person, rushing into the enemy formation!

The samurai leader has strong steps and quick movements, without any fancy movements, just hitting the vital points accurately. He wielded his baton nimbly, cut the neck of one dog-born, and then swept across, beheading the head of another dog-born. In just a dozen or so breaths, he even killed several people! The dog descendants died in an instant, without even leaving a scream.

Afterwards, three hundred jaguar warriors roared and charged together! Warriors in tiger skins rushed into the formation, slashing like they were in no man's land. Faced with this kind of rush, the tribesmen of dog descent could no longer support it. They uttered a cry of extreme fear, like a balloon inflated to the limit, bursting and fleeing in all directions!

"Continue to charge!"

Bertard did not stop. He threw away the worn obsidian baton, pulled out the bronze Qin sword from his waist, and strode towards the red fox warriors. Drops of blood fell from the sharp slices of obsidian, sinking into the darkening soil, just like the evening sky.

"Aww! Chief Thickskin!"

Ivican narrowed his eyes and shot the bone arrow fiercely. The sharp arrow only grazed Bertard's bronze armor, and only scratched the cloth surface slightly. The warrior commander paused for a moment, looked at Ivican's red hair, and rushed straight to kill him.

"Whoosh whoosh!"

The red-haired warriors unleashed a hail of arrows. The jaguar warriors charging forward did not stop. Bone arrows stuck in their cloth visors, but they took no damage. The warriors rushed forward like ferocious beasts, and within thirty steps in a blink of an eye, they all raised their battle sticks and let out tiger roars before the battle.

"Roar!"

Ivican's pupils shrank instantly, and he turned around and fled.

"Aww! Thick-skinned tiger-headed warrior! Withdraw quickly!"

The red-haired captain ran away like a vigorous red fox. More than two hundred tribal scouts also turned around and ran away. They have fought against the tiger-headed warriors, and they know how powerful each other is. If there is not enough numerical advantage, it is absolutely impossible to defeat the thick-skinned elite of the brigade. The remaining red fox fighters were brave, or they didn't have time to react, and were directly killed by the jaguar warriors.

A jaguar warrior cut through the cotton armor of a red-haired warrior with a side attack, and cut the opponent's chest and abdomen, with a wound half a meter long. The red-haired soldier fell to the ground screaming, desperately covering the torn wound, but his hands were dyed bright red. Vitality was rushing, mixed with internal organs, and the red hair fell silent for a moment.

Seeing this scene, two tribal fighters double-teamed up. They stabbed out the stone spears with all their strength, and pierced the jaguar warrior's chest and back, making a metal "bang" sound, but they failed to break through the armor at all. The jaguar warrior grinned, holding the stick in both hands, and swiped violently. The tribal warrior in front of him let out a piercing muffled groan, his neck was twisted to ninety degrees, and he died on a slant. Another young tribal fighter finally turned and fled with a look of fear on his face.

The jaguar warrior looked murderous. He was wearing middle armor, so he didn't go after him. He just took off the bronze throwing spear on his back, rushed two steps forward, and threw it suddenly.

"puff!"

The sharp throwing spear cut across a precise arc, pierced the young warrior's back accurately, and then nailed his whole body into the soil. The young soldier was still writhing on the ground, like a grasshopper stuck in the ground, but he couldn't move half a step. The warmth came out, and the screams rang out, but no one cared, and slowly returned to rest.

Berthard stepped forward and stabbed a warrior wielding a stone hammer to death with a thrust of his right hand. Then, he stepped back to close the sword, replaced it with both hands, and slashed diagonally from top to bottom! A red-haired head rolled to the ground. The samurai leader stopped with a flat expression, his clothes and armor were stained with blood, and the copper sword in his hand was bright red. He has completely killed the enemy, and there are no enemies in front of him, only hundreds of fleeing red fox fighters!

"Whoosh whoosh!"

Thousands of guards put down their batons, raised their longbows, and fired a volley. Dozens of red fox fighters turned their backs to the arrow rain and fell to the ground screaming. The red fox fighter fled desperately, and suffered two more rounds of feather arrows, leaving behind dozens of corpses. Only then did the rest of the soldiers escape from the shooting range, turning into small dots that went away, and fled far away in a moment.

"These dog-born fighters are not good at battle, but they run extremely quickly!"

Botard hung his eight-faced Qin sword, looked at it for a moment, and smiled lightly. Then, he raised the copper sword, wiped it lightly with his fingers, looked at the sharp and shiny blade, and admired it aloud.

"Killing several people in a row without wear and tear, it's really a good weapon! Well, the copper sword is short and sharp, and it should be mainly used for assassination, with a large shield for defense."

The warrior chief looked up at the sky, after a fight, the sun had already set and the sky was getting dark. He looked around, and the ground was full of fallen dogs, more than a thousand in number. The scattered tribesmen were scattered everywhere, and there were many wounded who were unable to move. Hundreds of personal guards were checking the battlefield, adding a stick from time to time.

Bertard nodded and looked towards the mouth of the valley not far to the north. Figures flickered in the mouth of the valley, and the dog-born tribe with large bags and small bags appeared again. After seeing the tragic battlefield in the south, they fled to the north in horror, without any fighting spirit at all.

"One thousand five hundred imperial guards, follow me to block the Taniguchi passage and occupy the Taniguchi camp! Four hundred imperial guards, chase and kill the scattered tribesmen, and return when it gets dark! The remaining hundred people, count the battlefield and treat the wounded!"

The samurai leader gave a loud shout, and led the guards of the brigade, and continued to go to Taniguchi. The dog descendants of Taniguchi fled desperately, and hundreds more escaped, and the Mexica warriors of the brigade rushed to kill them. Since then, the inside and outside have been isolated, and the dog descendants in the valley are like weed rats in a cage, unable to escape anymore!

The night quickly darkened. In this battle, the 3,000 dog descendants suffered 1,300 casualties, including more than 800 unarmored tribesmen and more than 500 red fox fighters. The 2,000 imperial guards had only a few dozens of casualties. The east and west valleys face each other far away, and the flag of the Mexica is flying. The Guaquilians in the valley seem to know their fate. The low dirge echoed in the valley, and the desperate cries scattered in the wind, all night long.
