Become The Duke's Wife Or Die

Chapter 100 - His Core

"If you give me a chance then I will."  Lyra's eyes burned with determination.  It's the only way she can save Baron Jason.  Only to satisfy Duke Kleo.  "Do you agree?"  There was a surge of fear, which opened a hole in her body, then swallowed all the light and turned it off.

"We will see later."  As usual Duke Kleo would be dominant, without wanting to be controlled at all.  Even if he did, he wouldn't show it clearly.  "If you do well then maybe I will agree with you."

Still standing at the end of the bed, letting the moonlight rain down on his dazzling figure, which probably made all the fainting maids faint with amazement.

Nodding, she pulled the blanket over her body, leaving her white skin exposed under the thin and beautiful pajamas.  Her hair fell like the brightest gold thread.

"I will give you a service."  She decided, looking determined more than ever.  No matter what happens she will block access to backtrack.  She will still advance, even if she has to destroy a wall full of embers.  "If you feel unsatisfied then you can tell me."

Inching from the bed, then standing on the floor, looking for the brightest point among the others so that her beauty looked even more perfect, undeniable.  Her gaze locked onto him, who was still standing without reacting.  Even he sometimes didn't seem to blink, like a frozen and old statue, too difficult to restore.

Lyra's fingers gently stroked her body, lingered on her chest, twisting to follow the twisting curves there.  Then she slid one side of her dress, which now revealed her flawless skin.  She rubbed her body with a sensual movement, with seductive glances.

One-shoulder immediately received the same treatment, which showed the beautiful glow of clean, flawless skin, with a very beautiful shoulder bone, and a collarbone that was so sexy.  Puffing out her chest, she walked swaying, then stopped at a point, then backed away to return to the previous point, letting the dress that was attached to her body down and off of it, revealing her body with transparent underwear.

'Uh, why is he still not reacting at all?' she thought, shaking her body, letting the chest bounce and shake, as well as the backside.  'Is he getting bored of me?' Her worriedness asked, suddenly sad and scared.  But why?

The wind suddenly slipped through the window, making her wake up from her daydream.  'Why am I thinking unimportant?' she thought.  'I better focus now.  Who knows, I'll be able to save Baron Jason later.  At least I don't want any lives in danger.'

Coming back to her consciousness again, a smile grew to like the petals of a beautiful chrysanthemum.  An impression flashed and anchored in his eyes, which still didn't seem to show any change in expression at all.  Even though it was like facing a cold-hearted monster, she still wouldn't back down.  Her struggle has come so far.  Strands of pride and honor have been crushed.  Now she only needed to walk down the dark alley to reach the light that awaited nonchalantly.

The hips were back swaying, the feet tread as if they have a footing that had a predetermined trajectory.  At the far end, she finally managed to reach the finish line, each of which emitted a thick mysterious air.

Dancing again, her fingertips began to touch his outfit, a luxurious and shiny nightgown.  Creeping in all the crevices, sneaking in hidden corners, caresses his hair, gently scratching it.  Then lingered on his jaw, kissed, and explored in the form of licks.

'He still hasn't reacted at all.' Now she was getting confused.  Even the burning urge inside herself was gradually extinguished.  This is all because her self-confidence begins to decline, and maybe even completely crumbles.

The twist of her hand that brushed his chest seemed weak and helpless, losing control and clear direction.  Then when her search almost reached his core, suddenly her legs retreated by themselves, as if giving him a whip that she had lost, she had become a coward.

Clutching her lips in shame, her back turned to quickly pick up her dress that was piled on the floor, intending to wear it.  However, just before that, her senses returned to remind her, about someone's life that would soon end tomorrow afternoon, or maybe tomorrow morning.

Lyra didn't know when Duke Kleo would start arresting Baron Jason, imprison him, judge him, then punish him.  It's possible that by now some people from Duke Kleo have been ordered to go to Baron Jason's house, spy on him or maybe even drag him out of his house.

Maybe they were on their way to Wereal, maybe they were at the gate, maybe they were at the prison door.

Her back stiffened for a moment, her eyes stealing glances at the furthest slit of the window, checking to see if there was a crowd crossing the palace grounds.  Of course, she wouldn't be able to see anything.

"What are you doing?"  he asked, sounding curt and cold.  "Are you going to just stand there all night?  Do you think my time can be wasted?"

"It's not like that," she shook her head quickly.  "I just…" Stuck in confusion.  "I wonder why you haven't reacted at all.  I've done a few things but you don't seem to be showing any response."

"What response did you expect?  I'm the one moaning in pain as if you stabbed me with a dagger?"

"It's not like that," she lowered her head, her voice weak.  "It's just… it's just that you…"  Then she failed to continue as if all the vocabulary that had been swirling in her brain had evaporated with her courage.  Seconds of time passed very slowly, one minute seemed forever.

"Shouldn't you have worked harder if I hadn't shown any reaction?"  Duke Kleo lifted his chin as if challenging, and sneering at the same time.  "But it does seem like you didn't mean your hopes.  If that's what you want then that's fine.  I don't have to bother pulling my men to abort their mission."

"Do not!"  she yelped, pulled his palms in her arms, then rubbed them repeatedly until they warmed up.  "I mean it.  I guess I'm just confused.  But now not at all.  So give me another chance."

"Okay," he said after a few moments of silence, doing it on purpose so she wouldn't dare to stop while seducing him.  'I can't control myself anymore.  If she doesn't come to me soon, maybe I will.  That is not following our agreement.'

As soon as his daydream was broken, he felt her hand rub his core.
