“You want to leave today?” Asha asked, eating one of the sweet carrots.

“I do,” Ken replied back, nodding his head. “There’s much to do and I can’t stay here for long.”

“Alright.” Asha would follow Ken’s schedule. It didn’t matter if they left today or in a few days from now, but seeing that he was in a rush, she wasn’t going to delay him.

Nana wheeled Ken to the Chief, who was nursing a terrible hangover. He was rubbing his head, and his eyes were barely open. “Arrayist Ken?”

“Good morning, Chief Ban. It seems you had a fun night last night.”

“Quite fun,” he said, wincing as he expected a punch from his wife, but it didn’t come. “What are you doing here?”

Ken held out some pills for the Chief. "Take these." There were a large number of pills, of all kinds of colours.

"Aren't these..." The Chief tilted his head in confusion, unsure of why he was being given these pills.

"High grade earth pills? Yes. I spoke with… Little Sister Jita,” Ken coughed, “about assisting you for the Great Chief position.”

“You’re going to help us? Thank you so much, Arrayist Ken!” The Chief took the pills and grabbed the cripple’s hands, squeezing them as gently as he could. “You’re truly a man with a large heart! Larger than my gut.”

Ken noted his gut did seem much bigger than last night. “Then I will pray for your success. If your wife was in the running for the Great Chief position, I'd be able to give you a low grade mountain pill."

"What was that?" Jita leaned in, her face deep and dark as she glared at him from behind.

Ken almost jumped, having not sensed her presence. The twins nearby hadn’t reacted to Jita, thinking she was not a threat to him. Yet.

"Little Sister Jita, good morning.”

“What was that you said, Big Brother Ken?”

Ken chuckled nervously. “I was just saying that if you were in the running for the Great Chief position, I could have over a low grade mountain pill.”

"If I wanted to fight for the Great Chief position, you'd give me a low grade mountain pill?"

“Darling,” Ban tried to interject.

"Yes,” Ken said, nodding his head.

"So you're saying that I just need to run for the Great Chief position and I’ll get a low grade mountain pill?"

"Darling, don't you think that's a little-"

Jita turned to glare at her husband, though her lips were a smile. "Not now, dear. I'm speaking with the great Arrayist who is trying to help us."

"B-but..." He shrunk away from his wife's glare, pouting as he pressing his fingers together. "I wanted to be the Great Chief..." He mumbled quietly. One of the Six Spears pat his shoulder, trying to reassure her chief.

[As if you could win against Sister Jita.]

“Yes, that’s right,” Ken said, confirming her again.

"Then I'll run for the Great Chief position!” She instantly sobered up from last night, and even the soreness between her thighs disappeared as the adrenaline ran through her. “My darling husband is too cheap for such a position anyway, don’t you think, Big Brother Ken?"

“R-right…” Ken wasn’t sure if he should have opened up his mouth, but seeing Jita’s tiny hands out for him, he sighed. He handed over a low grade mountain pill, one which had been made by his and Emerald’s nightly passions.

It gleamed brightly, showing everyone nearby its incredibly bright lustre.

"Wow!"

"Amazing!"

Jita swiped it quickly, making the pill disappear within a breath. "I'll go and cultivate! Make sure you treat our great guest accordingly!"

"It’s a shame that I won’t be able to spend much more time here.” Ken smiled.

“You’re leaving, already?” Jita asked, skidding to a halt and looking back at him, surprised by the fact he was leaving so soon.

“Unfortunately so. I have business to attend to elsewhere, and I would like to deal with it as quickly as I can.”

“Then please take our gratitude with you.” Jita bowed again. “Someone bring the Arrayist one of our Ceremonial Spears.”

“A Ceremonial Spear?”

“As long as you show it to our Clan, we will treat you as our esteemed guest. If you show it to other Clans, they will know that you are our esteemed guest, and they shouldn’t cause you any bother.”

“Thank you, Little Sister Jita.”

“Hehe! I hope to see you soon, Big Brother Ken! If anyone bullies you, make sure you tell us.” Jita’s eyes flashed darkly, filled with killing intent. “This Little Sister will be sure to kindly speak with them.”

Ken chuckled nervously again. “Of course.”

Someone brought a beautifully carved spear made of bone, one which was similar to that of Chief Ban’s.

“It should be considered a high grade earth weapon,” Chief Ban said.

Jita took it and then handed it to Ken. “From the soon to be Great Chief Jita to Arrayist Ken, allow me to present you our Ceremonial Spear. I hope that we will continue our relationship going forward.”

“I hope that we can as well,” Ken said.

[You may be instrumental in my revenge.]

Once Ken accepted the Ceremonial Spear, he placed it in his soul spatial ring. Luckily, the Ceremonial Spear didn’t take too much space, and he figured it was quite important to keep safe.

“Please take these as well, to keep your people safe.” Ken also handed over a large number of arrays.

[How much does this guy have?]

This was the thought of the escorts, Asha, and the Chief. Ken had come and handed over so many items freely, that it was getting a little ridiculous.

They weren’t sure if they were blessed to receive such items, since it seemed Ken may have something else to ask of them.

[What use is it to think about such little things? He saved my Jita, and that’s all that matters.]

“Again, we must thank you.” The Chief bowed his head, feeling a little woozy from his hangover.

“…” Ken reached out with another pill. “For your headache, Chief.”

“Thank you.”

With that, Ken waved goodbye to the Clan and entered his carriage. Lan also said his goodbyes, though to one individual in particular.

“Did you have fun?” Ken eventually asked when they were on the road.

“Arrayist Ken, I’m not the kind of man who kisses and tells.” Lan ran his fingers through his thick beard. His lips curled into a smile. “But yes, I did have fun.”

Ken held back a snort of laughter, but ended up smiling. “Then I hope to see some good work from you for the next week!”

“Isn’t that what you should expect regardless of whether I had fun?”

“Yes, but now I won’t feel guilty.”

“You would feel guilty about that?” Asha asked. “You are a curious cripple.”

“Isn’t that why you find me so charming?”

“A charmingly curious cripple? Ken, the charmingly curious cripple. It does have a nice ring to it.”

“I wonder what I can call you? Audacious Asha? Audaciously auspicious Asha?”

“Auspicious? Is that what you would call me?”

“Isn’t it auspicious that I get to meet you?”

Asha stopped to think about it, pretending to think quite seriously. “You’re right,” she said, nodding her head.

“I want one too!” Chandi said, unable to restrain herself.

“You’re charming too, but it feels cheap to steal that away from my title.”

“Cute?” Yue said. “Courageous too.” Yue reached out and placed a hand on Chandi’s thigh.

Asha looked at the way Yue touched Chandi. “Oh? Are you two friendly?”

“They’re very friendly,” Ken replied back.

“Is it because of you?”

“They met because of me, but I didn’t…” Ken stopped to think about it. Technically, it was his fault that they were together since he and Emerald had been together to make those pheromones. “It might have been partly my fault.”

“I didn’t expect you to be so perverted. Is it because you’re a cripple?” Asha teased him, wondering how he’d take it. She was willing to accept responsibility for her words, she just was curious how he’d respond.

“I don’t think the reason why I’m perverted is because I’m a cripple, but because my pockets are still so heavy.”

“Is that right? It’s quite universal that the rich are perverted, but we aren’t allowed to talk about it.”

“No one cares because the victims are those that people prefer not to see anyway.”

“So does that mean all the women within your harem can play with one another?” Asha asked, trying to change the topic to something more light hearted.

“I won’t stop my harem from loving one another, as long as they understand what I expect from them.”

“What is it that you expect from them?”

“Obedience and loyalty.”

“That’s all?”

“It’s the only thing which matters.” Ken couldn’t help but grip his armrest tight.

Asha could see how he tensed up, seeing the dark thoughts appear within his eyes. “So does that mean I can’t kiss any of your women?”

“Are you into women?” Ken asked, calming down quickly due to Emerald’s touch.

“I’m into your women. They’re cute.”

“Even Emerald?”

“Isn’t Emerald the cutest of them all? That’s why you keep her so close to you.”

Ken smiled. “Perhaps she is. My exquisitely, extraordinary Emerald.”

“As long as she isn’t expendable, Arrayist Ken.”

“No. None of my harem is expendable. That’s the least they should expect from me.”

[I wonder if that’s true, Ken.]

Asha smiled innocently.
