Between The Worlds

The elf beauty! The gorgeous body of hers was similar level to Elaine, as she had enough meat there and there! However, Raphel wasn't looking for too long at her body, but at her eyes which were yet different from Elaine.

As if endless ocean, her blue eyes were strangely glittering as she kept looking at Raphel. Then, the third unique voice rang out in Raphel's ears...

"He has looked at your body for only thirty seconds! Kek!"

It was parrot which was proudly sitting on her shoulder. Raphel who was fully focused on elf beauty didn't notice it! The worst thing was that this parrot was quite talkative as it began normally talking with elf.

"That's strange indeed. Maybe he isn't straight?"

"What!"

"Kek! Our you are losing your charm! Kek! Kek!"

The elf and parrot began talking completely ignoring Raphel who stood with mouth agape. If she didn't resemble Elaine, then his eyes would already be glued to her c.h.e.s.t! Thus, as if revolting, Raphel focused his eyes on her c.h.e.s.t!

"Alright, enough joking!"

Two fingers poked his eyes as Raphel lost vision for a while. During his black out, the elf introduced herself. She is also member of 'Beast's Sharp Tooth' division and Raphel neighbor! Hearing the noise coming out from Raphel's room, she knew new member is already here.

"You are really snakeman."

"I am indeed snakeman, Mrs. Shi."

Her name was Shi and Raphel was very respectful for some reason! It was because Raphel already asked her about elf's home. And the answer stupefied him. After all, Shi said that she had left the elven forest 500 years ago!

"What's with this 'Mrs'? Just call me Little Shi~~"

"Little Shi? But you are older than my ancestors!"

"Older than ancestors! Kek! Kek! Kek!"

"Ancestors?"

Shi's eye twitched as she heared that. Her hand moved by itself and slapped the poor snakeman sending him flying!

"Blurgh!"

"You are truly weak, even for a newbie! Come, your big sister will train you!"

"N-no need..."

"Follow me!"

And so, Raphel had to follow the elf beauty as he arrived in the training area of Beast's Sharp Tooth division. Although their division had few members, their territory was still quite big. Here, Shi began to release fire techniques.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

Raphel obviously didn't plan to take those fire techniques with his body. As fire balls went quickly against him, Raphel's cowarldy legs were actually faster as he dodged them all!

'She can't control them!'

He was sure after first session of attacks!

"Mrs. Shi, if you won't be able to hit me with your techniques in 5 minutes, then it is my win! If I win, then you must give me 5 silvers!"

"Do you really believe you can dodge them all?"

Shi leisurely asked as she kept looking at her nails. With her casual clothes, she looked as if she came here to play, not to fight! Compared to her, Raphel with his leather armor was like warrior! He narrowed his eyes as he thought inwardly...

'Don't tell me she can actually control them?'

As he thought about that, Raphel remembered that Shi is older than 500 years old. If by such age, she couldn't control her magic, then she would be a pathetic mage indeed! Soon, Raphel whole body got overshadowed by something.

Looking above, Raphel noticed a big water ball descending onto him...

'What! Not only fire, but water?!'

It was impossible for him to dodge the water ball, thus, Raphel whole body hit the ground strongly as he barely kept himself from passing out. The blood began flowing down as usual, but Raphel vision was still clear.

'I must survive this misfortune!'

As he looked towards Shi, Raphel noticed that her parrot changed color from red to blue...

'Don't tell me it's this parrot fault!'

"Kek! He noticed! Kek!"

"Hmm... quite fast. Not bad for someone who hadn't contacted energy core."

"Wait, he can not use magic?"

"Yes~~ Thus, there must be a reason for Sister Riana to take him in."

While they were talking, Raphel also began talking, albeit, quietly as if whispering. He was trying to awake his snake and use her to split the parrow from Shi! Inwardly, he was also jealous that such beast exists!

It's actually easy for Raphel to get jealous when it comes to magic. If he could use magic from afar thanks to the beast similar to parrot, then he would even give his savings from Earth! As snake heard his words, it hissed twice meaning she agreed!

"Good."

And so, Raphel began charging at the elf beauty. It surprised both of them as they already saw Raphel's cowardly run and bet. This time, parrot became red and Shi released fire balls once more.

But Raphel didn't stop. At this point, it didn't matter anymore if he gets one or two more misfortunes. After all, 5 silvers were at the stake!

Doing his best to get hit by only few of those fire balls, Raphel withstood everything as he screamed and kept moving forward. As he got close, Raphel extended his arm and using this arm, the snake moved forward as she jumped out splitting the parrot from Shi easily.

It was too sudden, thus, the elf and parrot duo didn't expect that!

Then, the snake coiled tightly around Shi body causing her to let out a cute m.o.a.n. Her c.h.e.s.t also got emphasised by sudden tail attack, but Raphel didn't care at all!

Either her m.o.a.n or body didn't move him... After all, there was something better than that... Releasing his punch, Raphel shouted...

"5 silvers!"

5 silvers definitely were better! Raphel like warrior in his leather clothes went forward for his reward! But can he win?! Can he get his 5 silvers?

'There is no way I can survive 5 minutes with her attacks. I must make her fall!'
