Between The Worlds

Raphel ran away to his room after getting beaten by Shi. In the end, he couldn't dodge most attacks, even with his specialized coward running! While he was running away...

"Kek! You were quite excited to meet him. Was it because leader had taken him to the guild even when he can't use magic? What if he doesn't even have energy core?"

"Idiot~~ with such body, how he can not have it? Anyway, Sister Riana only told me he is snakeman as she went to check his records."

"Kek! She might be wild, but she aint stupid! Kek! Kek!"

"The reason I was excited was because snakeman race went on extinction. I have never seen one!"

It looked like snakeman race is truly rare. However, with his green scales, most people still think of him as lizardman. But if people knew that he is snakeman, their eyes would be definitely filled with greed!

And the worst thing of this is that Raphel himself doesn't know about his race rarity!

"Wait, kek! Since he is rare and we haven't heard about snakeman in our city... then he definitely must be new here. Why the f.u.c.k she went to check his records if there aren't any?"

"Um... she does her best to be good leader."

Shi smiled while parrot began repeating stupid as they went to their room. With Raphel's attitude, there was no way he wouldn't be known in this town. Thus, both of them already knew he is new.

"Keep about his race secret, alright? Probably we are the only one to know about him apart from Sister Riana."

"Kek! Good thing she at least tries to be smart. Kek!"

Raphel passed through Biruan room several times. In fact, he was going back and forth as he wasn't sure whether to ask for medicine or not. Poor bearman had already pool of blood in front of his doors as Raphel's body was in quite bad state.

Soon, the door opened by itself and Biruan came out. He flipped on the blood's pool with his back and it didn't take second for him to start shouting madly. After all, right now, he was wearing quite expensive clothes...

"Blurgh!"

White t-shirt and black jeans... Biruan looked like typical handsome gigolo on earth right now! But as he stood up, the bear ears on his face made him look cute as if he only was doing his best to look handsome. Nevertheless, Biruan was still good looking man compared to Raphel.

"F.u.c.k! Who!? Who the f.u.c.k knew I was going to meet Mrs. Lasdes?!"

Biruan was going for beauty yet someone knew that and baffled his plans! As he raised his body, the bearman immediately noticed Raphel with wounds on his whole body... Looking at the pool, he knew that Raphel at least spent here thirty minutes...

"Why didn't you knock?"

"I-I wasn't s-sure whether to ask or not..."

"Eh..."

Biruan turned around and after a while, came back with medicine. It was simple medicine used by many after dungeon or battles. It didn't costs much, only 2 silver yet for Raphel it was too much! As he took the medicine with tears of happiness, Raphel began bowing expressing his gratefulness.

While bowing several times, Raphel didn't notice that Biruan took off his clothes and threw them at him saying...

"Wash them after you heal."

"Yes..."

Then, Biruan asked what happened to Raphel. After all, he had just given him medicine earlier... When he heard how Raphel called Shi, his eye twitched as it was enough...

"Dude, you can't call her like that..."

However, Raphel was persistent. When he began talking about ancestors, Biruan couldn't take it anymore as he closed the door. Knowing that his new teammate is quite dense, he didn't want to spend more time on this topic.

"Where is washing machine?"

But Raphel wasn't done, he asked the important question only to get question in return.

"What is washing machine?"

"..."

It looked like Raphel has to wash them by hand. Just like Human Bear had ordered him on the Earth! But Raphel wasn't dejected because of that as he took it as price for medicines...

Soon, Raphel healed himself and washed the clothes in the river that was in their territory, thus, no one saw him doing washing by himself. As he ended his work, the sun already hid itself. Raphel knew that soon, he will come back to Earth!

As he got back to the room, the snakeman immediately went to the bed. Closing his eyes, he patiently waited for teleportation. Soon, he could feel heaviness...

Beep! Beep!

However, he didn't wake up in his room, but in...

'Hospital?'

Raphel wasn't sure, but it surely looked like hospital's room. But that wasn't the most surprising thing... By the corner of his eyes, Raphel immediately noticed the slightly opened doors... and human bear looking though the gap...

'What is he doing here?'

Soon, their gazes met...
