Between The Worlds

Robert obviously got startled as he got sudden hug from Raphel. Anyway, he began thinking what he would do in the jungle alone...

'Can I survive in jungle alone?'

He thought inwardly with a pity as he looked at Raphel. The snakeman from another world, now, in his human form was crying loudly talking about his experiences. The fall, the vicious bears and that he can not contact energy core... but Raphel didn't feel like talking about his race or beasts...

Robert was human while he became beast... or monster. Raphel still felt a bit disgusted because of this, thus, kept everything to himself. When Raphel wanted to talk about the boss, Robert stood up and stopped him.

"Raphel, you need strength!"

Although Robert hadn't fought with monsters yet, he has been fighting non stop with knights in his castle in form of training! He knows very well, that he needs strength! Taking the thick branch from tree, Robert decided to show his skill.

"Since you can not contact your energy core, I will tell you my experience with magic."

And so, Robert explained how magic works. He compared the magic to blood!

"We can't feel blood flowing, but we know it's flowing within us! But it's different in case of magic. We can feel it with simple focus... That's why, when you will be able to use magic, think of it as blood."

"Why blood?"

"It's easier this way, at least for me... If I think of a sword covered in my blood, my magic easily covers it making it sharper. I use magic this way..."

'My energy core roars like f.u.c.k.i.n.g demon... Why it roars? If it roars, then is it alive? Living being?!'

Raphel's thoughts went wild when he began thinking more and more about his energy core. If he really has something inside, then he truly is going to puke with disgust...

'Not only snakeman...'

He, not only became a snakeman forcefully, but also had something inside his body in place of energy core... If his thesis is true, then Raphel won't use magic anymore...

"Do you also have chat?"

"Yeah, I have with other three princes. They are from neighbor kingdoms, having their own problems..."

"I see."

The limit of their chat is four. Raphel confirmed it and the talk continued. Robert told the name of his kingdom and some other useful information.

'Blue Rose Kingdom, huh...'

It was strong kingdom, that had dungeon entrance in the capital... Robert himself doesn't know much about dungeons as he is still in his training stages. Thus, the friends talked about random thigns for a while more and returned to their houses...

'Huntai City is the city with dungeon too, but the ones who control this entrance are leaders of guilds...'

Different than kingdon who had it all for themselves... Soon, Raphel came back, but didn't feel like playing or doing anything. The most important thing, energy core, was on his mind scaring him non stop...

He couldn't calm down, even though he soon is going to learn the truth...

Five days passed and the day of dungeon mission is closer and closer. Those five days were days full of misfortunes... Raphel, who just woke up in another world knew that soon, another misfortune is going to happen.

"Raphel! You coward, get the f.u.c.k out!"

Beautiful voice spoke such vulgar words... it was, of course, elf beauty, Mrs. Shi! Raphel who already knew what is going to happen next, curled in the bed as he hugged his head. He couldn't out run her...

"Blurgh!"

Soon, the water ball knocked him out from the bed and the woman approached him. He couldn't see her whole face as her two peaks hid the half of it. Was she too close or her c.h.e.s.t was too big?!

Anyway, Raphel knew, that once again, he has to run and endure her 'training' which is her venting her anger on him...

'Why is she angry at me though?'

Of course, the training only increased his endurance, speed and strength of his body as energy core was wild as his leader! Rather, it was the wildest!

But, energy core was only one of many misfortunes. In the past five days, Raphel bought another technique. Holding the book, he was eager to learn it immediately, but the system window didn't appear...

It caused Raphel to tremble as if his thesis was true... The energy core inside is the one letting him use magic... When Raphel realized it, he fell on his b.u.t.t and was close to fainting... Why his energy core is different as if alive, and why it has control of his system...

He had no answers to such questions. However! Between those all misfortunes, there was one fortune!

Raphel got control over his 'venom'! He could make it appear and disappear at wish! Little did he know, that it was exactly the energy core of his that let him do this...
