Between The Worlds

Raphel together with his leader and strangely Shi, who insisted to go with them went for carriage... Because of that, he felt better. After all, if they see his young bear, then the ladies are definitely going to laugh at him...

So, with less people, less shame!

That's what Raphel thought...

"Alright."

Riana pointed a carriage which was medium sized. Gulping down, Raphel summoned the young bear. He jumped out of air and landed down stumbling meaning he failed his glorious landing! He, the young bear, prodigy!

Of course, prodigy was self-claimed title.

Poff! The young bear hit the face of his, but stood up quickly enough! On his four, he raised his head to look at the ladies who are companions of Raphel, thus, his as well!

Growl! Where is your fur? They don't look cute at all!

Clearly influenced by his father, the young bear commented, but they didn't understand him and took his growling as cute 'Hi!'. Shi held her hands on her cheeks as kept shaking her head in cuteness. The young bear is cute indeed!

While Riana, had frozen. She knew Raphel was weak and not connected to energy core. With her strength alone, it didn't take long to see it through weak Raphel. But he had snake! Snake that was strong enough to make her feel fear...

Why it hadn't helped him with stronger beasts?

As to why it was with Raphel, it was of course because they were same race. If one look at Raphel close enough, one can easily distinguish the differences between snake and lizard scales...

Then, the young bear noticed the carriage!

Growl! I see, the first mission is to pull the carriage!

Raphel couldn't tell it had nothing at all!

The speed wasn't bad, but if others looked at them, then the reactions would be obvious... While Riana kept thinking about calling Biruan, Shi got closer to the young bear.

"Little Bear, you must tell me if it hurts."

Growl! Leave me alone, ugly woman!

"So cute!"

The growl sounded manly, thus, the sight of young bear doing his best to look and sound cute was adorable indeed. But if Shi knew its meaning, then she would slap him... albeit, lightly compared to Raphel.

The small bear, the young bear! He took the spotlight on the front and while Biruan would usually smile in such situation, right now, he felt something different. Looking at the bear, he couldn't bring himself to hate it, rather, he felt proud... Biruan felt proud of the efforts of small bear... feeling something akin to reverence...

'This is absurd! What is this?!'

He felt truly strange, but as the carriage passed him, the sight of Raphel awakened him from such strange feelings.

The snakeman... he was wet, as if someone poured ton of water on him. Gritting his teeth, Raphel shouted yet again and of course, it was akin to squeling...

""Ahahah!""

The other guild members laughed... the small man from his own division also laughed while the big guy did his best to keep calm. Raphel wiped his forehead and kept moving forward. Many people told him to summon 'real beast'... Many laughed, and even proposed to help with pulling carriage.

Of course, it was very embarrassing, for both Raphel and his division members, but the young bear was unstoppable.

His determination won over Riana, the leader.

His cuteness won over Shi, the bully.

His presence alone won over, Biruan, the bear himself!

While the young bear was showing his pride, Raphel was cursing inside. He obviously would choose to let others help him, but no! The bear was growling and the elf was bullying him for behind.

Shi who had spent some time with Raphel knew he was already ready to leave the young bear alone!

"You are his master and more importantly, partner! How can you even think about leaving?"

It was quite serious voice, but Raphel still took it as bullying. Just like that, in this strange atmosphere, the group entered the huge building holding the dungeon entrance...
