Between The Worlds

Raphel had said the same excuse and quickly got backed up by Shi who had her hands running through his body, showing his innocence!

"See! He has no stones!"

Although Raphel was their comrade, they still needed time to trust him, unlike, Shi who had fallen stupidly like litte girl. But one fact was undeniable! Raphel had saved their teammates, thus, the big guy and small one, introduced themselves properly with energetic handshakes.

"I am Rodde! Let's get along. Maybe we can go together to some bath peeking after- Blurgh!"

"As if!"

Shi slapped the small guy who introduced himself as Rodde sending him flying all the way into the dense forest! With glance, he saw how she had hugged the snakeman, thus...

'Oh, so it's confirmed. How jealous!'

Then, it was big guy turn. He introduced himself briefly with 'Let's get along.' His name was Kownen and he is the man of little words! But very reliable with big body of his! After introducion, the white elephant of Kownen was the one pulling the carriage.

The group of leader has gathered a lot of stones, causing Raphel to feel huge d.e.s.i.r.e to eat them... After he had eaten his first stone which was like most tasty delicacy in the world, Raphel found out that it had only purified his bloodline by 1%.

'N-no!'

Raphel roared inwardly.

'I must share money with the young bear. Fifty-fifty!'

The snakeman was glad that his leader was next to stones in the carriage! This way, he was training his resolve! And so, during his training, Raphel came back to the Huntai City...

Disgusting! Was the first thing Raphel thought. After the group had come out from the dungeon, they got immediately called by those 'employes' near the dungeon entrance... One of the ladies behind the window counted everything they had earned with their hard work... except the spoils of battle with Jatyah Guild...

And took 20% of it! Stones and steel materials... Raphel trembled with anger... Weren't they all close to death? If not absurd race and energy core of Raphel, then they would've died simply by having too few people!

"It's Huntai City Dungeon Association. They must do it in order to keep the dungeon entrance active... Also, they use it to pay for their excesive members and in times of danger, they also used this money to buy help from other cities..."

Shi explained as she hugged the whole arm of Raphel. She who is a bit taller than Raphel defintiely didn't mind it as she laid on his shoulder.

"I-I see."

And it was quite embarrassing when everyone could see them! Even more for v.i.r.g.i.n Raphel! As everything has been paid and done, the group returned to their guild safely! But Raphel was far more from safe as he already got quite deadly gazes from people and he himself felt like burying himself from all this embarrassment!

Shi was fine woman indeed!

Then, as he was about to get into his room, the elf beauty called from behind.

"Raphel... thank you..."

"No need... We are teammates!"

"Yes~~ But snakeman race is truly strong. I wonder why such strong race had gone into extinction..."

"E-extinction?!"

When Shi had told him everything she knows, Raphel got so pale that even his green scales went blank! The small man who had attacked him also called about his 'lizardman' scales being cheap, then if he knew Raphel is snakeman, he definitely would change plans and call his buddies!

Raphel thanked himself for not declaring his race or correcting the man back then! Shi who saw him trembling and getting worried about his future, quickly told him that only she and leader probably knows about his race!

It calmed Raphel, but only a bit. His eyes were still clouded with worry, thus, Shi went on offensive. Kissing his cheek, she quickly told him...

"You aren't alone. Don't you have me?"

And ran away. She herself was v.i.r.g.i.n! Anyway, it was enough to put Raphel in daze as all he could see was her black hair fluttering rather happily...

Waking up, Raphel felt like he had finally slept. Going between worlds is tough on his mental and although his mind feels fine and refreshed each time he enters or come backs, it can't be said about Raphel's state of mind. He himself feels strange and seeks dream land!

He usually would try to sleep either at school which is bad or immediately after dojo trainings... Nevertheless, he got some sleep now and his mind was clear as usual...

"I-I might hit the immense fortune soon!"

Even most dense person would realize the feelings of elf beauty! Standing up from bed, Raphel quickly grabbed his phone and called Robert.

[What's up?]

He, who also wanders between worlds is widely awake just like Raphel!

"Robert! Where can I buy protection in this brutal world?!"

Robert himself got stunned by Raphel's excited and lively voice. He who usually was dull and depressed about everything, now, was as if he won life or something like that!
