Beyond Origin

Everyone stared at Qin Shang with a dumbfounded expression.

Was this really the pretty boy who gets bullied every single day?

The atmosphere was so dense that they were all silent and kept staring at Qin Shang and Bai Shaoming who was sticking out the wall. No one could comprehend how he could launch the strongest person in the university by that far. Bai Shaoming once fought against a alumni that once studied in the uni when he was young. That person had more than 1,200 kg of strength and only launched Bai Shaoming by 4 meters away therefore if Bai Shaoming was launched by more than 10 meters and possibly more if it wasn't for the wall catching him, meaning that Qin Shang's strength had already reached 2,000 kg or more!

But what they didn't know was that Qin Shang had held back his strength by half in order to prevent himself from killing Bai Shaoming. After all, they were at the university and the Ba City was where the influence of the Bai Family was large therefore, to avoid problems he had to stop himself from killing.

He looked at the unconscious Bai Shaoming sticking out the wall as he turned and looked at everyone watching him. Everyone who saw his gaze was shaken at his stares and immediately lowered their head like how a servant does to a king.

Seeing their inferiority welling up in their minds, Qin Shang smiled as he walked away from the scene as everyone watched his back.

Some time after he had left, a teacher arrived at the scene and saw Bai Shaoming at the wall as he roared. "What happened here?!"

Everyone didn't dare to anger the teacher as someone explained to him what had happened earlier. Hearing the student's words, the teacher was a bit silent as thoughts ran into his head.

'A single kick launched Bai Shaoming flying by that far? That kid Qin Shang... I must talk with the dean immediately.', the teacher thought immediately as he turned back his attention at the unconscious Bai Shaoming.

"Someone take him into the infirmary room. I have other matters to attend."

He turned around hurriedly as the students watched him weirdly. Why was their teacher acting so strange, usually the teachers would take care of geniuses and people with background like Bai Shaoming and yet, he just looked at him and told them to take him and just left. Could it be that he thinks that Qin Shang was more valuable now that he nearly killed Bai Shaoming with a single hit?

Different kinds of thoughts ran around their minds as they guessed the intention of their teacher. However, unknown to Qin Shang, that his luck just reached another level by beating the crap out of Bai Shaoming.

After a few days, the news of Qin Shang's fight spread around the city as he became the strongest student in the university and main attention in the city while the Bai Family grit their teeths and cursed Qin Shan's ancestors; but other than that, they didn't dare make any move on Qin Shang nor his family since it might have reached the ears of the branch of the Shan Alliance which would most likely observe him along with his family since the Shan Alliance was known to be the babysitter of geniuses.

It was a nickname given by the people of the Alliance since the Alliance was known to protect and take care of those with great potential. The greater the potential, the better resources. Whenever the Alliance was asked by the media for the reason why they were so caring for geniuses, they would always say the same thing. That it was for the protection of humanity.

However, most people clearly knew the real reason; they didn't want to strengthen external enemies of the Alliance. In reality, the Alliance was the strongest group in the world and the one that leads humanity. However, there were also external groups other than them. The Underworld existed where slavery was normal for them, the Church of Light which was filled by lunatics who think they were serving a God, and the Dark Hall which was filled with evil cults.

These groups was only some of the big shots around the world besides the Shan Alliance, hidden in cities or other regions.

As for those in the jurisdiction of the Alliance which was the Hunter Association, Ministry of Espers, Beast Master Organization and many other more, they had at least or more than the same strength as the external groups.

While Qin Shang was bathing in glory and fame, unbeknownst to the people that praised him, he was actually giggling like a kid successfully getting a toy he wanted. It was his first time facing such glory after all. Though he was a broad-minded person, he was also a simple-minded one who would mostly ignore the dangers of fame and would look at it's bright side.

So what if he became hunted due to his strength? He was someone who seeks benefits using his strength and mostly likely background. As long as it would help his family, then he would earn strength which transcends mortality. After experiencing such feeling in having great strength, he became someone who didn't want to be shackled by mortality anymore. He was still in a Tier 5 City and just imagine what would happen if he had the spotlight all over the world. Just imagining it already gave him goosebumps, not from fear, but excitement.

Besides his great strength, he was also a rather cunning person since his father disappeared. He had learned how to take care of his family in a young age and constantly tricked many poachers who had tried poaching his mother. After all, his mother was a beautiful and elegant woman while his sister was like a cute china doll while his father was also a sharp and handsome man. In other words, they were like a family of superstars among superstars who were blessed with good looks therefore earning quite a lot of pursuers for him and his mother after his father had left.

Qin Shang sighed as he looked at his family happily eating across of him and thought of his father. Where had he gone to? Was he in trouble?

Many questions circled in his head as he looked down. Seeing his attitude, Shan Yanjing, his mother, nudged her daughter Qin Lu as she turned her attention to Qin Shang who was still feeling at a loss.

"Ya! Is there anything wrong Big Brother?"

Hearing his sister's voice made him snap out of his trance as he smiled towards the cute sister of his and shook his head. "Don't worry mom, Xiao Lu. Just a little problem."

Qin Lu hesitantly nodded as she turned her gaze towards the jelly in front of her as she ate satisfyingly, Shan Yanjing also smiled at Qin Shang as she whispered at him. "If you are worried about your father, get stronger and someday, we shall meet again."

Qin Shang was surprised at his mother's words and tried to ask something but as soon as he raised his head, his mother already turned her attention towards Qin Lu. He didn't ask anymore as he pondered her words.

What did she mean by get stronger? Did she know what happened to him? He kept looking at his mother for a while and wanted to ask a question. But as soon as he opened his mouth, a sound was suddenly heared.

Knock! Knock!

He stood up and headed at the door after he had heard the sound. As he opened the door, a man stood their with an emblem of the Shan Alliance on the suit he was wearing.

The man smiled as he looked at Qin Shang.

"Are you Qin Shang?"

"I am. May I ask who you are?"

Hearing his words, the man smiled even brighter.

"I am from the Headquarters of the Shan Alliance in the Region of the Azure Dragon."
