A month has passed...

The moon shines brighter than normal nights illuminating the whole city but one particular house shines even brighter, the Black Petal residence, and one particular person can't seem to sleep...

'Does this moron even sleep at all? At some point, he needs to have a proper rest or he'll just injure himself.' Nin woke up in the middle of the night and saw his brother cultivating Qi, which he does every night, skipping his sleep.

'His progress is definitely insane but due to Father's advanced sealing technique, he can only use 10% of his total refined Qi after my teacher opened one of his Qi points. But the problem is, he can't really open all of his Qi points at one go because of Cultivation Base or what they call the Cultivation Limit, he needs to breakthrough first or his body couldn't take all the Qi and explode.' It's complicated but as of now, the only people who can open his Qi points permanently are his father and his teacher.

Then... a slight tingling made Nin have goosebumps. At that moment she realized that Ai finally reached another level of Disciple Rank. Even for her, she couldn't believe that a single Qi point can give as much as 6 levels of Disciple. Just how further he can reach when all of his Qi points open.

Knowing how scary his brother might become, 'His potential is terrifying...' even for her who's a Master Rank, cultivating almost all her life and training with her teacher for 10 years, her brother only trained and cultivate by himself without even knowing if he could even improve. "Finally! Level 6 disciple! How about that old man!" Excited Ai finally let out a roar trying to show his father that he could really surpass him one day.

Nin's forehead nerves are about to pop out caused by Ai's loud mouth "Shut up, you idiot! People are sleeping!" Somehow, she realized that her brother is really a genius.

"Oops, sorry about that." Trying to whisper, Ai continued his cultivation.

1 Star Class is now about to start.

"It looks like everyone's here and I can see that some of you are really doing their training non-stop. I know that most of you want to reach Expert Rank as fast as possible but believe me, one level of progress might even take months... or years. And... your teachers here at the academy can help you progress significantly as long as you do as we say and that means you have to take care of yourself." Looking at Ai's condition, he progressed so fast even reaching level 6 Disciple after only days of training but... he looks exhausted and needs to rest.

Same as Kiri who almost looks like a lifeless corpse now, his progress is at the peak of reaching level 7 disciple. Knowing that he lost against his rival, all he could do is train more.

"It's been a week and I can tell that most of you progressed. So, I guess it's time to know our top 5 students of 1 Star Class." Somehow, everyone was shocked by what she said. Ranking students based on their Qi cultivation is normal but for them who are all trying to surpass each other, it will become an even more competition than just being in a class.

'Woah... the hostility around the room, I didn't expect that this year's 1 Star class would be this competitive.' Wai is really worried that this might turn into trouble later on.

Some of them, especially Ai and Kiri are even skipping sleep just to cultivate Qi who are both currently at level 6 Disciple, there's also someone who's on a genius level, Sha who just reached level 8 Disciple but... grandma..." Getting worried if she needs to tell about it or not...

"I told you to call me Elder when we're at the academy. What is it? Go on..." The Elder wants to hear some more and it seems she doesn't want other teachers to feel like she's giving more favor for her as Wai is her granddaughter.

Worried for the life of her student, "There's someone, Kin, known as the Forest Dweller..."

"What about her? Spit it out already." Making the old woman more serious.

Her Qi shows me that she's only around the level of a disciple but the weird part is she can use advanced skills like Temporary Sealing Technique and even for an Expert Rank, it's impossible to use Qi Suppression. Only those who have great control of Qi can do it." Thinking that at such a young age and reaching Master Rank...

"Are you saying that a 15-year-old young lady is already at Master Rank? It's like a one in a billion chance or she must have awakened her hidden potential but it's not enough... but then, there's also another way..." The Elder is now getting interested but still, the idea is so surreal.

Wai is now getting pissed by all this suspense, "Spit it out, grandma..."

Losing her temper, "I told you to call me, Elder!" Then she realized she raised her voice and tried to calm down... "Aheem..."

"Well, the other way is... she met a teacher with a cultivation rank higher than those who live in Xaltan's Realm but an entity with that kind of power... I don't think someone like that even exists." Even for the elder who lived the days when the Xaltan Realm was only about to reach the Rise of Humanity Age, for her, Yion is the current strongest entity all over the Xaltan's realm who's rank is about Emperor, next to King.

There must be a connection her and Ai because after Ai came back with her from the forest, Ai was able to reach from level 1 to level 5 Disciple after only a few days. She must have done something to him..." Wai sure knows a lot about them, she must be watching them.

"And what do you propose on doing? Head Leader Tanti, specifically ordered me not to let any harm befall them while they are at the Academy. So that means that they are protected for a year. I don't know what he's up to but he has a plan for them. So for now... you decide on what to do but make sure she stays at the 1-star class for a year." Even making Wai more confused.

"If that's the Head Leader's plan then I don't think I have a choice." Accepting the decision of her grandmother and the order of the Head Leader, she decided to look after them.

"So what do you say about this, Shin?" The Elder now is asking Shin, the teacher of the 2-Star Class, who's blankly looking at them.

Wai realized that Shin is sleeping while his eyes are open... "Hey, are you deaf? My grandma asked you a question!" Shouting at Shin, he finally woke up.

"Oh, yes. I agree." Trying to answer randomly after they figured out what he's doing...

"The number 1 is Kin who has reached level 9 Disciple. Please, come forward." Everyone was surprised by the announcement, they were expecting that Sha will take the first place but still, they saw the power of Nin once and somehow it made sense. But the person who's surprised the most is Nin. She knew that there's no way they haven't really seen her potential knowing she used an advanced technique.

Stepping forward 'They must be planning something... or they are just letting things as it should be. There must be a reason." Making Nin more aware of her current situation.

Ai has doubts as well 'There's no way she's only a level 9 Disciple... they must be hiding something.'

"Number 2 is Sha who has reached the peak of level 8 Disciple. Please, come forward." That didn't really surprise anyone.

Wai seems to be missing something and then remembered, "Number 3 is... hmmm... Aki'ko who has reached level 7 Disciple. Please, come forward." There's someone in the class who hasn't really done anything and avoid attention but has the most progress more than anybody else.

'Wait, who the hell is that?'

'Haven't heard of that name before.'

Everyone seems to be not aware of who the person is. Even the teacher forgot about that person.

'It seems I will be having a hard time reaching the top with these people. I have to get stronger and move ahead of them.' Even Ai found a new competitor.

The youth coming forward, wearing a masked cloak and full body clothing, this person sure is hiding something and due to the person's disguise, they couldn't really tell his gender so the teacher decided to see the person as a man.

'This person is mysterious, I can see his Qi Points and I can see his current rank. For the past month, he entered as a level 4 disciple and after a month, he was able to reach level 7, that insane progress... he must have awakened his hidden potential. Another person I should watch...' Who is this person and how did he progress so fast?

*SPIT* Even Kiri couldn't believe that he lost to 2 girls and 1 weird looking person.

Then, a book flew towards Kiri's direction *SWOOOSH* Without him even noticing, *BAAAAAM!* he was hit directly on the face.

"Ugh! What the hell?!" Kiri's face turned red after getting hit by the book.

"We already talked about this, Kiri... No spitting on the damn floor!" She really hated it and so Kiri looked away. That made Nin and Ai felt great though.

"And number 4 is Kiri who has reached the peak of level 6 disciple. Please come forward." Still pissed of what happened to his face, he has no choice but to come forward while holding his face with both of his hands.

"Finally, the number 5 is Ai who miraculously managed to reach level 6 Disciple. Please come forward as well." Finally, the top 5 students are now assembled.

"So, now that the top 5 students are named and the class is finally reached its first month. Then I guess, we're about to learn how to fight Beasts outside the real world." Everyone seems to be excited after hearing what their next lesson will be. Fighting a beast is the next path of becoming a true warrior of the clan.
