Blinded Scent

Wen Xinyi's eyes widened upon realizing that his face was just an inch away from Wu Yijun's neck.

'What's this position ah. It's like I'm attacking him?' Wen Xinyi pretended to wrinkle his nose while moving away from Wu Yijun. He asked indifferently. "Did you take a bath? You smell weird."

Wu Yijun smelled himself. "I don't think so. Many people said that I smell good."

"Don't just believe what other people said about you." Wen Xinyi took a few steps away from Wu Yijun and decided to sit on a chair in the dining table, just a few steps away from the sink.

"That's why I didn't believe what you just said." Wu Yijun smirked and turned his back against Wen Xinyi to continue washing the dishes.

'This... I don't know why but he really makes my blood boil. His smell is so pleasant though. This is my first time to have smelt a pleasant smell like his.' Wen Xinyi tried to ignore what Wu Yijun just said. He took out his phone from his pocket and smiled when he saw a new notification. He smiled even more upon seeing a new update of his favorite light novel online.

'I really wanted to know ah... who will save the heroine.' Wen Xinyi looked at his phone intently and started reading the update.

***"Why? Are you the best?" The man smugly asked.

The lady smiled, showing her pearly white teeth.

"What do you think?" She summoned her element and a majestic looking phoenix flew towards the man. The man stood frozen, he couldn't use his wind element for fear that the fire might scatter around and would hurt others. Just as the fire phoenix was about to hit the man, a wall made of soil appeared in front him, the fire phoenix hit it and was enveloped with the soil, putting it off and only a thin smoke was able to escape from it.

Ai Jin was so angry and looked around for whoever meddled with her fight. She looked around and saw a tall handsome man with a young child beside him. She couldn't help but keep looking at the man's exquisite features.

Ai Jin's angry expression changed into a softer one and slowly approached the man. All the angry feelings inside her heart disappeared.

"Are you alone?" She asked him.

Guiying was about to answer when he noticed Yu Zeng a few steps away, walking with a man wearing a dark blue robe and white mask. His happy expression changed into a cold one startling the lady in front of him.***

'Huh? That's it? So short ah.' Wen Xinyi slightly furrowed his eyebrows and started to wonder who was the man wearing a dark blue robe and white mask in the story. 'Another male lead perhaps?' His lips slightly curled up and started reading the comments.

"Why are you smiling creepily?" Suddenly a husky voice sounded from behind, interrupting him. "It makes you uglier." Wu Yijun said nonchalantly while wiping his hands with a towel. "I already finished washing the dishes." Wu Yijun walked around and sat on the chair across Wen Xinyi.

"Nothing. Thank you for washing the dishes." Wen Xinyi glared at Wu Yijun while putting his phone on the table. He cleared his throat and said, "I'm also handsome ah."
