Chapter 3 - bad century- Part 3

"You know what? You should try my method. It'll help." he says, his voice is like music to my ears and I wonder if he is a siren. He fills the glass and passes it towards me! Sweet little me who has never in the nineteen years of her life tasted as much as a drop of alcohol. But no, it had nothing to do with my mother.

I hesitate because first: getting drunk at work isn't a good ethic and second: drinks with stranger led to doing things. I try my best not to imagine the drunk me doing things with him but I still do. When my imagination makes me feel awkward and shy and more nervous than I've ever felt I reply, "I don't drink."

"Try. You wont be able to stop." He suggests and I realise all this while his eyes had never left mine.

Drinking isn't such a bad thing. Everyone from my class had at some or the other point of their life tried alcohol and all they had to say was how light it makes them feel. Like there are no worries. No pain. Nothing hurts once you're intoxicated. Maybe its not a harm trying a sip especially when someone this gorgeous as the guy in front of me is offering!

I nod and wrap my fingers delicately around the glass. Lifting the glass to my lips, I pause to look at the beautiful brown-haired guy still wondering why I decided on doing this. He passes me an encouraging smile and I gulp the liquid down my throat. It burns and for a moment I think I'm going to throw up but with time it feels good. My body instantly feels warm and cozy despite the cool breeze roaming around the place.

After a few minutes of silently sipping the drink like its coffee I look at him and I swear he looks more attractive than he did before. I feel like dancing but instead take a seat on a stool beside him.

"How do you feel?" his voice sounds distant though he's sitting only inches away.

There's a reply which I later recognise as my own voice only its a little bubblier like Leah's, "Never been better!"

"Told you!" he winks and I almost stumble upon the stool, looking at which he chuckles! Damn! Caleb who?

But with the intoxication rising, a sober part of my mind realises I haven't got his name yet!

"You haven't told me your name yet!"

I feel the room around me spin as he replies, his voice seems to come from far away, "Don't worry darling, Ill tell you a lot more than just my name."
