Blossoming Flowers

Chapter 66 - Young Master Loses Control

The check-up went smoothly, with the exception of the doctor looking rather shocked at her ID when she said that she was a woman.

But everyone had the choice to live life as they pleased, so although he was shocked, he did not comment.

After finishing the check-up, she returned to the car and the bodyguards that were waiting underneath the building. She also sent a WeChat message to Han Qingshan to tell him that she was completely fine and healing well.

After that she made the bodyguards follow her to the convenience store where she had previously been given a job, but due to the injury been unable to show up.

Although she had called and told him the situation, she still felt that she should go and apologize in person.

The manager was grateful for her apology, but he had fired her nonetheless. It was impossible to say when she would be able to return to the job, and she had not even had her first day yet, so he had decided to let her go.

The bodyguards which followed her heard everything, but they stayed quiet until they entered the car and the one in the passenger seat picked his phone up and sent an update to Han Qingshan.

Han Qingshan was at Imperial World's main office working on the situation at hand. Before, he had not been too keen on the fight with the Starry Sky Entertainment Agency, but after meeting Zhou Yan, he was very unhappy and wanted to do his best to beat him black and blue.

First, he got the message from Jiang Yingyue, and a smile appeared on his face, however not long after another message appeared, making him frown.

It was a dilemma. Jiang Yingyue wanted a job quite badly, but right now she was too injured to take on just any job.

She was majoring in psychology, and he did not know about any study jobs that focused on this subject. Although his family had some connections with hospitals and mental institutions, he was not in a position to get her a job as she had not yet graduated.

He could offer her a job at Imperial World. She was definitely handsome enough for it, but she was not interested in the industry.

He was mulling over what to do and how to do it best when a thought hit him. He had been very busy recently and could definitely use an assistant.

Although he had Song Liwei as his assistant, one more would hardly hurt, right? Especially since it would be on a part-time basis.

Han Qingshan was incredibly happy with himself for thinking up this scheme, being able to keep Jiang Yingyue by his side, at the same time as he was able to provide her with a job.

He did not know why, but every time he thought about Zhou Yan knowing her, his heart would clench slightly and he would feel uncomfortable.

Especially when he remembered the eyes that were filled with bloodl.u.s.t as he looked at He Yuyan and the others. It was obvious that had Han Qingshan not been there, the four of them would not have just been beaten badly, they would likely have been incapable of surviving.

However, Han Qingshan did not feel anything wrong with this. He too had wanted to kill them at that point in time. Only because he knew that the Han family would be impacted if they died, as everyone knew about the dispute between him and the victims, did he stop.

Zhou Yan did not need to have such worries. No one apart from him was aware of the fact that he knew Jiang Yingyue, so even if an investigation went underway, it would still be impossible to determine his involvement.

Han Qingshan suddenly realized that the pen in his hand had snapped from him using excessive strength to grip it. His mood was too easily influenced when it concerned this Jiang Yingyue, and he could only chuckle darkly in self-mockery before he found another pen and buried himself in paperwork.

That night Han Qingshan returned home rather late. It was already midnight by the time he walked through the door into the condo, and what greeted him was the sound of the television.

He took his jacket off, went into the kitchen and saw that food had been prepared for him and was neatly wrapped up, ready to be heated and eaten.

He then went to the sitting room where Jiang Yingyue was laying on the couch, sleeping deeply, her lips slightly parted and her eyelids fluttering gently.

A patch of skin on her waist was revealed as she had been moving in her sleep, messing up her clothes.

This patch of skin was so fair and tender that just looking at it made Han Qingshan's Adam's apple bob up and down in his throat. He suddenly started to feel hot and thirsty.

He was not sure if his heartbeat was increasing or decreasing; it was beating at an irregular speed.

Without realizing it, Han Qingshan reached out, his hand gently landed on Jiang Yingyue's face. It gently traced her cheekbones and jawline before they landed on her lips, rubbing them slightly.

Han Qingshan was completely in a trance, unable to pull himself away, he leaned closer and closer as his thumb c.a.r.e.s.sed Jiang Yingyue's red and soft lips.

Han Qingshan could feel the breath of Jiang Yingyue on his lips as they were stuck close together, and he leaned down even further, his lips gently touching Jiang Yingyue's.

At this point in time, he finally realized what he had been doing, his eyes widened in surprise and he backed up, unable to contain the shock in his eyes. What had he been doing?
