Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

878 Chapter 878 Miracle Drug

Another day quickly passed and the exam began in time. Our bored gamer has undergone a series of tests which would hopefully determine if he has any ability whatsoever.

"The results came out. Harrison McCarty is as normal as any human could get." The lead doctor concluded. This has given Clark sufficient time to hide in this world.

"Thank you." Our avid gamer said and went on to enjoy his days in school. He was not anymore bullied since most has learned their lessons already.

But this has not of course erased all attempts to teach him a lesson. A few came to harass him and every single one of the returned with broken faces and nuts.

The days passed peacefully thereafter.

One year later.

"Hmmmm... Mission accomplished!" Clark smiled at his reflection in the mirror. It did not need telling that he really loved what he saw and he was quite proud of this achievement.

One should know that he had spent copious amounts of sweat, discipline, and pain in order to reach such a satisfactory result.

No instant magic was done but everything came out to be because of his impressive perseverance.

"With this body, i would be able to do many things that i simply could not do before." Our bored gamer decided.

His teleportation skill needed both a great body and mind in order to do myriad things about it.

These two important things were always vital if one wanted to achieve amazing things in this world.

"First thing to get is vital information that would aid me well in my journey." Clark mused and began looking at the news for a place to start.

"Absolute Frost strikes again! Whole Desbin Arena frozen in protest of the tighter international superhero sanctions!"

"Infamous Speed catches a bullet in midair, saves the day!"

"Nifty Fox unravels civil war scheme! Stops nuclear war from happening!"

.

..

...

The rain of superhero deeds flowed one after another but our avid gamer was focusing more unto the darker side of the picture.

It did not take him long to find out one particular super villain who suited his needs at the moment.

"There you are." Clark nodded and reached out for a legendary mask on the side. It was a masterful replica of the one Darth Vader would use in the movies.

Although there was no Star Wars franchise in this would but this truth was the reason why our bored gamer picked this costume in the first place.

Before long, Clark was wearing an all black attire complete with gloves and cloak. Perhaps the only thing missing in his getup was a lightsaber on his hands.

Alas, our good gamer could make do with what he had.

"DING!" With a thought, a blinding light devoured Clark's form and it catapulted him into a place that he had in his mind. He reappeared in a dark alley more than 10,000 miles from where he was.

"Nice costume, fool. You want to score some coke to add with that shit?" A dealer in drugs approached in time.

This alley was quite famous for rampant drug distribution in the neighborhood.

"I want more than just coke." A smile could be glimpsed in our bored gamer's words.

"CRACK!" A few breaths more and the eerie sound of bones breaking could be heard in this scene of violence.

The poor pusher wanted to scream but alas, his mouth was rewarded by a hard punch that broke the majority of his front teeth. He was lucky to be alive in the aftermath.

"SIGH!"

"It's so hard getting information the old fashioned way." Clark shook his head after he roughed up the man a bit.

He needed to find someone that could lead him to that supervillain and this was the only thing he could think of in order to achieve that.

One should know that the system Nancy provided him no help whatsoever in giving him the location of that particular super villain. Thus, he had to work his ass out.

"I need to go high up the ladder." Our bored gamer decided and he was lucky since the night was yet young.

Before he finished, there were more than three dozen drug personnel who would lose a couple of teeth and break a bone here and there.

Clark did not kill them of course since that might make a number of superheroes motivated to hunt him. He did not want some nosy pursuers at this early stage in the game.

Inside a secret bunker somewhere in the world.

"Doctor Mastermind, you are one hard man to reach." A voice reached an old man sitting in a chair.

"Who are you?!" The old man turned around in panic and he got his hands on a gun that was pointed to the location of the sound.

His hand would trembled ever slightly to show his fear in the open.

"DING!" Clark revealed himself and what greeted him was a fiery flash of the barrel.

"BANG!" The bullet strayed forward and hit our bored gamer's excellent guise of black. A ripple occurred on his chest and gave epic consequences thereafter.

"AHHHHHHHH!" The doctor screamed in pain when he realized that he had been shot.

There was a large gaping wound on his thigh and there would be no doubt that he would bleed to death if this injury remained unattended.

"We just met and you're already trying to kill me. Don't you think that it's impolite to do so, Doctor?"

Clark admonished but he remain standing still and witnessed how the doctor reached for something in his table. It was a liquid of some sort trapped in a transparent container.

The doctor opened its lid and poured everything on his broken flesh.

"WHOOSH!" Smoke came out and a few seconds later, it vanished and cleared for normal sight to witness a miracle. The wound was no more. Only a scar was left of it.

Nevertheless, the doctor appeared a whole lot paler than before.

"What do you want?" Doctor Mastermind asked as if a man drowning in his own saliva.

He wanted to grab a drink so badly in order to counteract the major side effects of the instant medicine he took but alas, great was his horror at this moment.

"I want everything, Doctor Mastermind."
