Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

889 Chapter 889 Cage Fight

"A formidable enemy." A sickly looking young boy said to himself. He had met many supers in his long life but never had he seen a tricky opponent as this one.

To isolate space in separation to present reality altogether was a whole nother matter entirely.

He would have wanted to invade the mind of that unknown adversary but prudence has stopped his unwise actions to a halt. This mysterious foe was not one to be underestimated.

"I need to plan against him." The weak boy noted in his mind.

He spent the better portion of the day thinking about sufficient countermeasures on someone that could teleport and wield space as if it was his own personal domain to command.

One month later, a lot of people has finally realized that something was amiss in recent days.

"I have summoned everyone here for a very crucial information that we got recently." A man that was respected by many started the online conference.

He was garbed in a military suit which reflected his close ties to this group.

Nevertheless, not one amongst those that were present in the meeting denied this man's contribution in today's era. His name was Captain Joseph Shaw.

An existence that has lived up to more than 3 centuries already. His longevity was only second to his prowess in battle.

Thus, the impressive record in his exciting lifetime was enough to deter any disrespect in the scene.

"Just spit it out already. I have a party to go to soon. We old dogs don't need any senseless introduction." A man rose above all others and spoke his dislike for how things were going.

It was not that hard to note that this man was indeed crazier than the rest. The online scene solidified into an uneasy one. Everyone was waiting for an explosion to occur.

One should know that the one who spoke was on equal footing with Captain Joseph Shaw. His legend was also a thing that has ran for many centuries already.

"Isaac." Captain Joseph Shaw nodded. Although the two had battled it out in the field countless times in the past but he respected the principles that was upheld by his big adversary.

It was just sad that the two of them were borne out from different countries. If not, then the two of them alone would have already made a new world order by now.

Perhaps this was also for the best.

"I'm sure that everyone of you are aware that someone has been kidnapping supers in this past month. The latest of his victims are Absolute Zero, Infamous Speed, and Nifty Fox.

But more than that, we counted that this person or organization has already nabbed hundreds of our fellow supers. Their distinction did not matter.

Heroes or villains, the selection is fair and absolute. We have not seen or heard anyone who escaped from the ordeal. Everyone who was targeted just disappeared from view.

At this rate, it would not take a year for every super to vanish from the face of the world." Captain Joseph Shaw said in length.

He feared for the worst and such a thing was not at all advantageous to them as a whole.

"So what do we know about this person or organization? Aren't they just like pussy cats that loves to hide from plain view?

You have several dogs in your beck and call that specializes in sniffing out problems of this nature. Call them and problem over." Issac said rudely.

He was not hiding any shortcomings in this statement since Gaben Country has more sensors than his own country of Arthrax.

More often that not, this specific field would decide the winner and loser in a battle that was as close as theirs. Unfortunately, the answer that they got was not in the positive light at all.

Far from that in fact.

"We got nothing." Captain Joseph Shaw replied which gave a depressing ambiance in the online meeting thereafter.

This silence lingered for a few breaths before the captain chose to break it himself one more time.

"If you got something to add on your end then I'm all ears. Whoever is responsible for all this series of kidnapping is a damned fucking ghost." The captain said solemnly.

He got pressure from his president to fix this problem and fix it fast but alas, to fight someone who chose to stay in the dark was an impossible task to accomplish.

He and his peers may have been granted super strength but they were never creators of miracle in the first place. Their powers no matter how mighty it was has various limits.

"..." The silence lingered and it would come to continue for a long long time. Every single one in the online conference could already deduce the huge implication of this problem.

They tried to deny it but a sense of helplessness slowly invaded their being. Should this scenario find no ending then they were just nothing but sitting ducks waiting to be roasted on a pit.

This eventuality did not bode well to them at all.

While everyone was busy fearing for the worst, our bored gamer was relaxed and played this world's video games as usual.

No matter how old he became, his love for gaming would never diminish. With a sharp mind and a deep fat pocket like he has right now, it was easy to dominate the rankings.

There were even times that he would run out of games to play because he had a huge advantage every time especially on games that required a lot of money to compete.

"SIGH!"

"Games these days are becoming too predictable." Clark shook his head as he checked on his equipment that was already in max level.

"Hmmm... I should check on how everything is going on my latest target for the night." He mused loudly and before long, a mirror like image appeared before his eyes.

Upon it, he could see the desperation of a weak looking young man on a wheelchair.

This lone person was besieged by hundred of supers but he was still holding his own against this huge disadvantage.

From this fact alone, it was easy to determine that this lone boy was indeed an extremely powerful fighter.
