Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

Morning came and it was supposed to be the start of everyone. Farmers till the land and shop owners heat water for their first customers of the day.

Alas, the same could not be said for Chu Yang and the like.

"I could not sleep at all." This was the lone sentiment that bothered him the most. He had expected that this gift would be a rare treat that only he could enjoy.

Unfortunately for him, this great blessing instantly became an annoying curse the moment he found out that he had absolutely nothing to do in the duration of his time.

"It would have been good if this place was still on Earth. I could play games endlessly and grind levels to the max or perhaps gamble in online poker. But this cultivation world is no fun at all!"

This was Chu Yang's conclusion after one night of boredom. What this setting has in abundance were motivated people who enjoyed spending years in closed door cultivation.

More than that, the majority of the experts were drug junkies who spent their lives chasing that next hit of spirit stones high.

It did not need telling that Chu Yang was indeed having a hard time adjusting to this epic change of environment.

"Are you already awake, young master? I've already prepared the morning bath for you." A familiar voice asked from beyond the door.

This was of course none other else than the maidservant Ning Xi.

"I'll be there shortly, Xi'er." Chu Yang replied, took a deep breath to fix himself, and then pushed the door open to welcome this fresh day in his life.

He had spent the better whole of the night counting to millions of numbers and back again just to while away the monotony of being trapped inside a room with virtually nothing to do.

Chu Yang vowed that he would find ways to make himself happy in his second night in this world later on.

"Your mother and father are happy to know that you are well, young master Chu Yang. They would appreciate it very much if you would not do the same mistake again."

An old lady bowed and said these words. Her name was Xiong Da and she was one of the caretakers of the slaves in the clan.

She was particularly assigned to look after Ning Xi in this case.

Her main reason was only to replace her when needed since it was not unusual for maidservants to die because of their young master's cruelty and the like.

"Thank you for the message, Madame Xiong. The recent kiss of death has enlightened me to see to a different path.

I have learned from my lessons and will treasure my life immensely from this day forward." Chu Yang said in length.

Getting this indifferent attitude from his parents was nothing new to him at all.

While his mother never stopped competing with all his other step mothers in attendance. This was indeed a weird family situation to say the least.

"I will let your parents know of this news. May i take my leave, young master Chu Yang?" Xiong Da asked. To this, Chu Yang only nodded in reply.

It took him a full minute more before he moved from his place and out into the modest training ground nearby.

There was no point of him cultivating anymore but that did not mean that he was perfect as he was.

"I need to go find something to fix the current state of my body." Chu Yang whispered and he imagined just a place to find the solution to his problem.

"Come, Xi'er. We're going to have to take a hike out of the clan." Chu Yang said without turning back. He knew that his loyal maidservant always shadowed his movements.

They were a good pair of nobodies inside this great clan of Chu.

"Where are we going, young master?" Ning Xi asked tentatively. There were only two places that her young master frequented in the past.

That was the Qiao Clan where he was granted a few hours every week to talk to his fiancee and the clan pill pavilion where he would get his monthly allotted supply of 100 spirit stones.

Chu Yang was not even educated properly since he was tested from young that he had little to no talent in cultivation whatsoever.

Thus, it could be said that he no longer received any natural blessing from the heavens after having a handsome face perk on him.

"We are going shopping, Xi'er." Chu Yang replied and there was a big smile on him right now.

Although he would have no real explanation to where his money came from but that would not matter one bit since he has the strength to keep them in his pockets.

This was a cultivation world that respected power above all things. So two souls came out of the Chu Clan domains and spent almost an hour just to reach the gates out of the place.

One could only imagine how long it normally took for them to get to the Qiao Clan property in the past.

The talks of the servants in the clan pervaded the scene and they were not even ashamed that the topic of their discussion could hear them in the midst.

"I go out of these gates a beggar but i shall come back a king with a whole army on my back!" Chu Yang vowed and it would be a lie to say that he was not excited at the outcome of this trip.
