Bored Gamer In Other Worlds

948 Chapter 948 Command

"I belong to no faction. I'm just here to borrow something from this place. In return, I'll give back three of them in one year." Our bored gamer replied.

He looked around and found no shadow or trace of the master of this school. It was obvious that the latter was being extremely vigilant in the face of this unknown visitor.

"What do you want from here?" Lord Mage Infinite Ocean asked after a beat. If he could resolve this issue without any conflict then he would take that in a heartbeat.

An old soul like him was already wise enough to avoid making new enemies if there was any chance at all to do so.

"Nothing much. I only want to get my hands on the Crown of Aurora. Fear not because I will hold true to my promise. Three legendary artifacts for one."

Clark raised a hand that showed significant fingers in them.

"The Crown of Aurora! You are dreaming if you think that the Lord Mage would allow such a thing to take place!" A mage guard interjected.

He would have acted prematurely if not for the strong force that made him take a step back from his original place.

"Lord Mage!" The mage guard was shocked at this sudden turn of events. He did not expect for his master to chastise him from out of the blue. He believed that he was reasonable in his claim.

"If you can take one of my strikes and live then I shall have no problem in granting you what you want." Lord Mage Infinite Ocean replied.

He ignored his disciple and continued to converse with our very own protagonist as if nothing had happened earlier.

"Do your best then. You can start whenever." Our bored gamer accepted the deal freely.

Although this lord mage was strong but he was still not that powerful to be considered as one of the top dogs of this domain. Clark had more than enough to spare in dealing with this kind of adversary.

"Rune of Burning Waters!" The lord mage took the charge as stated. His old voice echoed out and the inexhaustible vitality from him could be felt in those 4 words alone.

He embodied power and commanded it with great skill.

"TAP!"

"TAP!"

"TAP!" Rain fell until everything was covered in a deep body of water. This chance occurred and was completed in but a half breath alone. One could see the mastery exhibited from this noble lord mage.

"Everyone stay back! Don't let the waters touch you or that will be the end of you!" A wise old man warned. He could not believe that his master would easily cast his strongest spell at the start.

Nevertheless, this was not the time to speculate on the mind of the lord mage. This was not something that the like of them could freely interfere on a whim.

"WHOOSH!"

"WHOOSH!"

"WHOOSH!" The mage guards and Mo Chu heeded the warning and retreated quite a ways back. The waters parted as if it was sentient of their passage.

They were allies and so no friendly fire would happen today.

"Ocean World Collapse!" The lord mage intoned and everything turned ugly in a second. The waters burned hard and a fiery doom befell in everyone's eyes.

No other picture existed but only a huge inferno in the midst.

"Is he dead?" Mo Chu asked in fear. Her dreams had shattered earlier when the lord mage said that she had let an intruder come into their home. Nevertheless, it was not yet too late to make things right.

If our bored gamer would die then this would be the end of everything.

"DING!" The fog of burning waters scattered and it showed an amazing scene for the audience.

"He's a monster." Someone commented in a voice of disbelief. They could see that our very own protagonist was unharmed in the aftermath.

Even his clothes remained unscathed throughout the epic show of mage might.

"You have won the gamble. I expect you to honor your words." Lord Mage Infinite Ocean stated. It was then that he appeared in everyone's eyes. He was old. Perhaps as old as the long staff on his hands.

Despite that, his aged eyes displayed wisdom that only time could ever hope to create.

"WHOOSH!" A crown materialized and the thing slowly floated towards our avid gamer. The latter caught it thereafter and a hint of a smile could be seen on his handsome face.

"Of course. Give me a year and it shall be done." Clark promised, kept the crown inside his inventory space, and slowly walked away from the place.

He was gone before he took the third step into their midst.

"Master. Is it okay to give the Crown of Aurora into someone we hardly know?" A disciple was brave in asking.

"Either we give him that or he take it from our corpses. We had no choice at all." Lord Mage Infinite Ocean sighed. It could be said that he did take advantage when attacking first.

He used his entire might but failed in the end. Truth be told, he was not expecting a different result from the fight.

One should know that this Lord Mage has never encountered any weak individuals from faraway factions. Every single one of them was monsters and gods in their own right.

Lord Mage Infinite Ocean had a longing look in his eyes before he squashed the sentiment entirely. Dreaming was not the business of old men anymore.

"Let what happened here remain untold. Death will be the least worry of those who violates my word." The Lord Mage commanded and he too left thereafter.

"…" Everyone was stunned. More than others, Mo Chu shivered in trepidation.

She had expected to be punished but took a deep breath of relief when the lord mage vanished without saying her fault in the matter.

'Song Shuhang. What the hell happened to you?' Mo Chu asked inside but found only more questions the longer she thought about this problem.
