'Please tell me that your system has just some bug or something, Nancy.' Our bored gamer said inwardly as he clang on what little hope he had at the moment.

"Negative, host. The system is perfectly fine and operational." Nancy replied promptly. These words crushed our good gamer's hopes completely.

"SIGH!"

"It seems like I have to do it the hard way this time around." Clark shook his head as he uttered these words loudly. He stood up and looked at the old man before him.

"I need something from your sect." Our good gamer said and moved on to complete this quest the hard way.

A whole month later, a divine sect could be seen hovering as far as the eyes can see. There were flying letters in the forefront of this magnificent build. The message read simply.

"Looking for talented disciples. We are willing to pay 1,000,000 spirit stones for every successful entrants." And just like that, Clark founded the greatest and strongest sect ever to grace this world.

Alas, the time it took him to create it was not something quick at all. It took him almost 500,000 years from start to finish. Nevertheless, the end was something spectacular indeed.

"DING!" A sea of people as far as the eyes could see was kneeling neatly in homage.

Everyone tried to look up and get a glimpse of the most powerful cultivator to ever exist but sadly, they could see get a hold of the golden throne that covered his immortal image.

Everybody knelt for days and nights without feeling any hunger and boredom. It ended with our very own protagonist devouring every last faith energy he could get.

"They had nothing to give anymore. Take me away from this place, partner." Our bored gamer whispered and left this world completely.

When this notification was heard, Clark then witnessed a new story waiting to be told.

"Let's break up. I don't love you anymore." A text came and the boy that got it froze like dead chicken. He could not move as he tried to process that information that pierced into his brain.

His rational side understood it but his heart forced reality away from its natural place.

"CRACK!" The pieces of a broken soul scattered in the scene and it was at that moment when someone breathed his last. This young boy died of extreme shock and sadness.

Luckily enough, it was also at that particular time when our very own protagonist arrived on this world.

"I could only shake my head at the most improbable happenstance that you let me witness, partner. Well done." These were our bored gamer's first words into his advent.

He assimilated the memory of this young boy and realized soon enough that this was a mortal's world to begin with.

It was quite advance compared to his recent trips a few times back but compared to a xianxia world, this place lacked progress and class.

"…" As usual, the heavenly treasure clay brick did not answer. It remained aloof and silent as before. This truth did not bother our good gamer at all.

"Hmmm… What about my system cheat, Nancy?" Clark has not forgotten to enquire about the most important aspect of his stay.

One should know that he definitely did not want to spend a lot of time in here. He was extremely excited to finish this job once and for all.

"Congratulations, host! Free gift pack has been given and applied. Please check your character status for more information." Nancy replied almost immediately.

It did not need telling that she was more than familiar with how our avid gamer behaved over time. The two had been together for countless trillions and trillions of years.

Nancy was perhaps even more knowledgeable about our very own protagonist than all his lovers combined.

"Thank you, Nancy. Kindly open it for me." Clark nodded.

"Affirmative, host." The system Nancy replied.

"I see. Well, this is gonna be so easy." Clark grinned and began searching the room for anything he could try his cheats on.

"Mech Touch 101!" It did not take him long to find one and the rest was tasty as pie.

"DING!" The book melted like butter in our bored gamer's mouth and he was surprised to realize the impact of the experience.

"FUCK ME! It tastes like hot chocolate!" Clark exclaimed. He was ready for anything bad but it appeared that his partner inside his soul was not that bad at all.

"Hehehe. I should have never doubted you one bit, partner." He smiled and enjoyed the feeling of knowledge rush towards his brain.

Our bored gamer of course did not stop there and began looking out for more books.

This task was not as easy as it looked since most educational materials in this era were all available online. Physical books were a rarity nowadays.

He was only successful in finding 3 more books.

"Easy Math for Everybody."

"Basic Engineering Concepts." Clark acquired the knowledge these books brought but it was definitely not enough to satisfy his hunger. He needed to have more.

"Let me take it the easy way then." Our good gamer muttered to himself. He picked up his phone and browsed through it.

"DING!" He emptied his bank account or what little savings he had and within moments, something came out before him.

"BANG!" Hundreds of books materialized from out of nowhere and drowned our very own protagonist within their heavy volumes. Alas, this has not bothered Clark at all.

"It's time to feast!" Our bored gamer laughed and ate all these chocolate flavored books around him. He did not stop until he ate every last one of them.
