Bored Gamer In Other Worlds

978 Chapter 978 Lots and Lots of Women

"There were a few witnesses in the scene and every single one of them tells the same tale. The men of noble House Mason all just dropped dead. Their heads exploded in blood mist.

Magic was certainly used." The old man reported.

"And what of the rest?" The city lord continued his queries.

"The rest… they suffered the same fate, my Lord." The old man answered. His voice was dispassionate as always.

Aside from the deaths in the road, several key members of the Mason Family soon followed in their demise.

"Any likely suspects on the identity of the perpetrators? A magus perhaps?" The city lord asked.

"A rogue magus. Whoever that magus is, he or she should have a close connection to Jack Storm." The old man was accurate in his suspicions.

"Find that rogue magus and bring him to me at once." The city lord ordered.

"Yes." The old man nodded and immediately vanished in a flock of shadows. It was a technique called shadow walking and only the ones with the magic affinity of darkness can master such a useful trick.

Alas, that alone was not enough to save the old magus in the city lord's employ.

One day later.

"…" The city lord was now looking at the headless body of a familiar old man. He could even recognize this old man with his eyes closed. This was due to the bond they shared for more than 100 years today.

Working together in that long duration would have made anyone as close as brothers at least. The city lord made a fist and…

"BANG!" An audible pop resonated in the air around him which immediately slapped everything away from his immediate vicinity. This was his anger talking.

A full minute later, a muted calm descended inside this place of death once more. The city lord found reason well enough to instill sense unto his rage.

"Magus Albus would not die without a fight and yet he did without even a single disturbance last night. This could only mean one of two things." The city lord pondered.

He and Magus Albus would spar over the years and the magus specialized most in escaping techniques more than anything else. Thus, it was easy to come up with an initial guess of what happened.

It was either Albus wanted himself dead in the first place or he was vastly overpowered by someone so impeccably superior.

"A Sovereign Warrior or a Divine Transcendent? Impossible!" The city lord shook his head to deny this looming possibility.

Those who arrived in such stations would be the strongest experts in kingdoms, empires, and countries. There was no reason for them to assassinate a minor magus in a desolate place like Pirn City.

"…" The city lord mused for some more time before he decided that he would personally see Jack Storm himself. Everything would be answered once he got to the doorsteps of that family.

"Guards! Summon my elite f…" The city lord started but he was not able to finish what he wanted to say.

"PUCHI!" A tongue was cut and a body was prematurely buried before its time. The city lord passed out but before he did, he received a grave omen of doom nearby.

It was as if a man was speaking so closely to his ears.

"This will be your last and only warning. Treasure it well." The city lord would realize days after this tragic event that it was not a man but a young boy's voice that spoke these malicious words unto him.

Nevertheless, this was a lesson that the city lord has learned the hard way more than any that he had experienced in his long life. It robbed him the chance to utter a single word from that day henceforth.

"Now I can finally read once more without bugs annoying me left and right." Symour said at the conclusion of these chained events.

Truth be told, he was only biding his time for when he could finally explore the taste of carnal euphoria upon the opposite sex.

Although he could fast forward time at will but such a thing was not to the liking of this ancient soul. Life was meant to be lived in the first place and not to be ended in a blink of an eye.

Symour got to live well and he grew up to be most powerful and adored. In fact, his immortal reign lasted him millions of years before the eventual descent finally occurred.

"Something feels wrong. I can sense it in the air." Symour wondered. There was omen of doom that was slowly gripping at his heart.

Nevertheless, he did not show any fear or sorrow at this moment. He knew that he had led a good life and this was more than he could have hoped for in his existence.

One should know that he had already died once long before. Dying once again was far from novelty all things considered.

Still, he mused at what death would look like for him the second time around. He knew that there was no escaping this tribulation tonight.

"DING!" A sudden burst occurred within his soul. He tried to fight it but it was a lost cause in the end. All he got was a single glimpse at his adversary.

"An old warrior. And a powerful one. Much powerful than I could ever be." This was the last thought that graced Symour's mind before he silently succumbed to his demise.

There was no earth shaking explosions to commemorate his passing at all. One old soul was gone to make way for one older soul in his place.

"If you don't put me in evil people's body, you task me again on harbouring the harem of another man. You really are a creative one, partner."

Clark sighed at his first breath on this world. One should know that Symour's harem at this time has already broken hundreds of thousands of women.

In the end, Symour has really gone around and fulfilled his vision of bedding lots and lots of women.
