The Reality Show staff was hard to judge (and I did not want to misuse any of my special abilities to find out).

Sometimes the staff was fawning and complementary. Other times, they were firmly transactional.

"Sit for a picture we can use, after that we might discuss your requests."

I could imagine my friend having a similar experience. There were times when I really suspected these people were trying to corner me into using my PSI powers.

I was clearly being recorded and they gave themselves frequent telling looks.

I got very little from them.

They did let me select the best picture to use.
