I stayed in the pool a very long time.

Trying get past the main hurdle. Why would she want me?

A visitor arrived and told me they going to be one of my inspectors.

He handed me a stack of fresh clothes. They fit me perfectly. Like they had been tailored just for me. Stretching just enough to not be too tight.

He wore strange clothes and stood with a calm presence. A little bit ominous.

He said nothing for a long time.

"I can see why the guardians where distracted during their sparring this morning. You are an adorable man. So now that you have seen the Tenshi women.. which ones will you let claim you?"

I know my mouth fell open when he said that.

He expression changed to smile: "Sorry, that was a test. But there is a portion of truth to it. If you stay here.. You would have no authority of your own. Having only the good reputation of the Tenshi women to prevent them from making a claim on you.. Right now, they all abide unmarried by the decree of the emperor. That might not always be true."

He explained many things I should expect, if I were to become a father. Child care and education being my only role. He knew that was different than from where I came from. He had a slightly distracted manner near the end.

When he left, my new friend arrived and she told me I had made a good impression.
