Broken Destiny

Chapter 19 - Capitulum 17 - Forgotten Memories 8

|| F L A S H B A C K ||

It was a depressing day for Luciera, even when it was her long awaited wedding day.

She was being dolled up by castle maids in front of her mirror, yet she can't help but tear up in the thought of getting married today. To someone whom she did not love.

"This is for your mom, Luce," she whispers to no one but herself, "be strong."

---

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," the priest says as he closes his book.

Tears streamed down on her eyes as Charles' nears her face with a smirk on his annoying face.

This is the end for her. There is no turning back.

She thought sadly as Charles' practically forced his kiss on her.

"Finally," he whispers to her ear, "you are mine. For life."

She shakes her head as she looked away. This is the end.

---

"Congratulations, Luce, Charles," a visitor whom she did not know, exclaims as he neared them.

Charles' arm was around her waist, securing her in place as if she was about to run away. She wanted to yet, she did not want to disappoint her now deceased mother.

Charles only answers him with a smile as she thanks the visitor with a forced smile on her face.

"What is with you?!" she whispers angrily into his ears, "stop clinging unto me!"

"He called you 'Luce', no one should ever call you by your nickname now, aside from me," he said, not even looking at her.

She looked at Charles as if he grew another head. He is crazy!

"You evil, obsessed swine!" she whispers yet again.

He looks at her with a smirk on his face.

"You are mine," he said, "and mine alone."

He did not change!

"You are a sick sc.u.mbag!" she tried to get away from him, yet she was unable to. His grip was so tight!

---

Charles and Luciera were now excused from the party, as it was now time for their oh-so awaited and popular wedding night.

She almost runs to the room prepared for the both of them, if it were not for her high heeled shoes.

She takes them off as she reaches their room, dropping them by the bed as she sat on it, her head in her hands.

"Oh come on Luce," the bastard, Charles, approaches her with his annoying voice, "don't be sad."

She looks up, only to find him removing his vest. Alarmed with this, she stands up and reaches for the blade she inserted in the her leg garter she prepared if ever this would happen. And who knew, it really would.

"S-stay away from me!" her voice is unstable as she holds the knife to his face.

"Oh my dearest Luce, do you honestly think, I would be scared of a little blade such as that?" he darkly chuckles as he touches the tip of the knife she was unsteadily holding.

Without a warning, she slashes him by the cheek.

"I said, don't you dare!" she screams on the top of her lungs.

Charles holds his injured, bleeding cheek.

"That hurt," he c.a.r.e.s.ses his wound with his thumb.

She icily glares at him, hating him even more everytime a second passes by. If ever it's possible.

She sees him put his thumb by his mouth before l.i.c.k.i.n.g the bloodstain.

"You are mad!" she screams.

"Call me everything you want, Luciera," he threatens, "but I will enjoy this night."

He knocks the blade out of her hands as he takes her wrists into a very deadly grip. Her mouth hung open.

"Now don't be selfish," he insanely chuckles, "I am your husband."

"And you will give me a taste."

Luciera screamed until she could scream no more as her husband— no— as the bastard devil trails kisses from her neck down to her c.h.e.s.t.

Her tears were nonstop as he touches her everywhere. She tried struggling yet he was too strong.

"N-no!" she cries, struggling under him.

"I will surely enjoy this," he breathes into her neck as he rips off her dress, "so I'll make sure, you will too."

Luciera begged and begged for him to stop, yet he did not. He continued thrusting, like a wild animal. A mad man, that he was.

"Please, no!" she cried, but no one could hear her.

No one can save her. Not even the servants who were placed just outside their room. Even they, could not help her. Because if they would, Charles would kill them faster than a blink.

"Please!" she cries, before finally succ.u.mbing to the pain that was taking over her body. Dark spots covered her eyes before she fainted.

'Luce,' she hears a voice.

'I'm sorry I left you...'

Luciera tried to open her eyes, but she cannot.

'Leo,' she thinks.

'Luciera. I love you,' Leo's voice whispers softly, comforting her dark and somber soul.

'And I will say that,' an invisible force c.a.r.e.s.ses her face gently, 'until we see each other again.'

Until we see each other again. She smiled though she was still in pain.

I will hold unto to that, Leo.

See you soon, my love.
