BTS: 2nd Generation

Chapter 1 - Kim Namjoon's

"Mishil, Ryung Shik, wake up." Namjoon knocked on the doors of his children's rooms.

He opened the the first door which is on his right- his 9-year-old son's room.

He walked into the room and gently sat on the bed. He stared at his son's sleeping position for one second. His son, Ryung Shik, was sleeping facing his right. He gently tapped his son's shoulder to wake him up.

"Ryung Shik, wake up. We have to leave early. We might miss our flight." - Namjoon

Ryung Shik turned and gently rubbed his eyes. He looked at his dad with a smile. Then, realizing what his just said, his smile gradually turned into a frown. He looked at his father sad eyes.

"Abeoji, why can't we just stay here? I don't want to leave." Ryung Shik asked his dad with a sad voice.

"Ryung, you know we can't. We talked about this.Abeoji and Mommy needs to go back to Korea for business. If we leave you and your sister here who would take care of both of you? Plus, flying to Korea and staying there for a few days then flying back here would be tiring for me and Mommy. Do you want us to be tired? So tired that we can no longer help you with your homework or play with you guys?" Namjoon looked directly to his son's eyes while speaking.

"No. I don't want to see you and mommy tired. But, how about school?" His son was a bit worried about his studies. Ryung Shik is a very intelligent young boy. He loves to study and read books. He's a straight A student. He is worried that transferring in another school, in another country, might affect his grades.

"You'll transfer to the school close to our house. My friends' children studies there too. I know that you'll get along with them. You'll start school this March. So you have more than a month of vacation. Since you and your sister are very advance in learning, you'll enter 5th grade earlier than your classmates here in Canada. Mishil will enter 4th grade. I'm well prepared trust me.Okay?"

Ryung let out a heavy sigh.

"Okay. I'll get ready to leave." Ryung finally got up and went straight to the bathroom.

As soon as Ryung Shik closed the bathroom door, Namjoon also got up from sitting and went to his daughter's room. But when he got there, little Mishil was not there. He only found an empty bed and ready-to-wear clothes on top of it. And next to the bed are three HUGE pink luggages, a backpack, and small pink Gucci handbag.

'Can Little Mishil carry all these stuff?!' Namjoon asked himself

He heard sound coming from the bathroom. He heard water from the shower running and someone singing.

"🎵Wonhae manhi manhi manhi manhi🎵" Namjoon was bit shocked. He didn't know Little Mishil liked to listen to his group's old songs! That song was released years before she or her brother ever existed! Namjoon has mixed emotions now. He did not know what to feel. Should he be more shocked? Or should he be happy? Or be confused? Of course, he chose to be very happy.

He got out of his daughter's room and went to the kitchen. There he found his beautiful wife preparing breakfast. He looked at his wrist watch and check the time. It's 8:27 am. Their flight's departure will be on 3:00pm. They have to be at the airport 2 hours before departure.

"Hey, good morning. I prepared breakfast. Eat while waiting for the kids." His wife greeted him then kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks, Luv. Are you done packing up?" Namjoon asked

"Yes, I did it last night. I packed up your stuff too. How about the kids?" Asked his wife

"I think they're all done." Namjoon answered

Rycca Saskia (Kühn) Kim. Namjoon married a German woman he met in US. She gave birth to Ryung and Mishil in South Korea. When Ryung was three years old and Mishil was two( international age), they migrated to Canada. They sometimes spend holidays in Korea. They stay there, but only for a few days. Now, they need to go back to Korea for business and continue living there.

Ryung disagreed with the idea of living in Korea and leave Canada behind. (As if he could bring Canada with him) But in the end, he sadly agreed. Mishil is a different case. She always wanted to move away and live in Korea. So when Namjoon told them about it, she exploded with happiness as she jumped up and down shouting 'I can finally leave Canada!'. Mishil loved being in Korea. It's not like she doesn't like living in Canada, it's just that she wanted to try and explore something new.

Not long when Namjoon and Saskia heard footsteps heading to where they are.

'Seems like they're done getting ready' Namjoon said to himself

"Abeoji, Mommy, we're ready!!!" Ryung and Mishil shouted.

"Mommy, what's for breakfast?" Mishil asked. Saskia turned to face her daughter and served a bowl of Broccoli fried rice. Broccoli fried rice is their most favorite food.

"Yey!! Broccoli fried rice!" Mishil ran to get chopsticks for her and her brother.

"Abeoji, will we meet your old friends when we get to Korea?" Mishil asked. Mishil have always wanted to meet her father's old friends. Especially their kids. But due to lack of time, they never got to meet them. Even on the holidays they spent in Korea.

"Yes, we will. But maybe after a few days when we get there. We still need to unpack, clean the house that we bought, and arrange stuff. But I promise that we will meet them. Okay?" Namjoon smiled at his daughter. Mishil smiled back.

"Pinky promise?" Mishil stretch her small arms so that she could reach her dad. She balled her small fists and opened her pinky finger meaning Namjoon needs to swear and pinky promise to his daughter. Namjoon did the same and promised his daughter that they will meet his friends.

"I promise." Namjoon reassured his daughter

The family of four finished their breakfast and got ready to leave at 11:00am. Namjoon took all their luggages and put them inside the car. When they all got into the car, they put their seat belts on. Then, Namjoon asked them, "Are you guys ready?"

And they all answered "Yes!!!!" With that answer, Namjoon drove the car heading to the airport.

'Wait for us. We're coming, Korea...'
