Business King Of Two Worlds

Max woke up and got ready to go to the gold dealer. He got in the car that had been arranged for him.

The driver stopped after some time and said sir we have arrived at your destination, Max got of the car and went inside the store.

"Welcome sir, how may I help you," asked the man sitting at the reception desk

"I believe Aiden has contacted you," said Max

"Oh yes sir, the manager has been expecting you, let me escort you," said the man as he got up from the counter and took Max to a room on the second floor.

"Sir, Mr. Max has come to you, the one Aiden called about," said the man as he got inside the room

Max saw that a very elegant looking man was sitting behind a desk, a man of his status in India would have decorated their entire office with gold thought Max.

As Max sat down, the man from the reception took his leave and the manger started speaking

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Josh, and I am the manager as well as the partner in this store, so be ȧssured, I possess enough rights to make a deal with you on any scale of your choice," said Josh

"Hello, Josh, my name is Max, and let me come straight to the point, I have some gold to sell, and I am looking for confidentiality and I am willing to pay for it, and if we make a successful deal, be ȧssured that our relationship will be lucrative for both of us," said Max

Josh took the product from Max's hand and started inspecting it, this guy was doing some more tests than the guy he had sold gold to before.

After some time Josh was finally done with his tests and said

"This is the finest 24 Carat gold, my friend I am willing to buy however much you can, sell," said Josh

"What will be the price," asked Max

"In which currency do you want me to quote you the price," said Josh

"Dollars," said Max

"Ok, currently I can offer you a price of 50,000 dollars Per Kilogram," said Josh

Max took out his phone and checked the rate of gold online, and the rate offered by Josh was a little bit less than the current rate but that was to be expected.

"That is acceptable," said Max trying to stop himself from bursting into a smile

"So how much do you have" Said Josh .

"19.4 Kilograms," said Max

Josh was a little surprised, he had inspected the gold bar, and it had turned out to be of the highest quality, therefore the only place it could have been purchased from was a bank, but the bar did not have the markings of any of the banks in this world, but rather some strange markings that he did not know, thus the conclusion he came to was that this gold must have been smuggled from some mine somewhere, most probably Africa.

Many people came from Africa selling gold confidentially, after all there lots of mines and lots of corruption in Africa, the perfect match. But people typically wanted to do either a big one-time transaction or a continuous supply in small quantity.

But this guy had said that he was ready to create a continuous relationship, and now he was saying that he had 19.4 kg of gold, which was a large quantity even by his standards.

Seeing the expression in Josh's eyes Max understood what he was thinking, this was the same expression he given many owners give when they gave orders to small factories, it was the expression of wondering whether, the guy will be able to deliver or not.

Max lifted his bag with great effort and opened it in front of Josh's eyes.

"Here's the gold, and don't worry there will be plenty more in the future," said Max

Josh was still thinking when he saw the guy pull up his bag and open it, a dazzling ray of light coming from all the gold, and after he heard what Max had to say he was very pleased, this deal had the potential of turning into a very beneficial partnership thought Josh

Josh took the bag from Max and started testing the gold bars one by one, and after he was satisfied with the gold, he turned to Max and said

"The gold is of excellent quality, and if you can maintain the supply in such quantity, we can have a very very profitable relationship," said Josh smiling and stretched his arms towards Max

Max smiled listening to this and shook Josh's outstretched hands

"Please give me your account number, so I can wire you the money," asked Josh

"I will just take it in cash," said Max

"Don't mind me asking, but why don't you wire the money in your account, you know even if Switzerland is a safe place, crimes do still happen" said Josh

"Yes I agree, but currently have no bank accounts the only one I had, I just closed," said Max

Josh was a little surprised by this, by the amount of gold he was selling Josh had expected this guy to be a pro, but he didn't even have a bank account.

"Please don't take it the wrong way brother, but is this your first time doing let's just say, this nature of business in Switzerland," said Josh

This statement caught Max a little off guard and he got a little embarrassed,

"Do I look so inexperienced?" said Max

"Well then since I hope to do business with you for a long time, let me tell you something, if you want to do this kind of business regularly then you absolutely need a financial manager" after which Josh picked up his phone

"Here I just send you the number of the best guy I know, he is an absolute wizard in this kind of stuff, just contact him and tell me I send you and want a starter package," said Josh

"What's the starter package," asked Max

"Trust me just call him, he will explain everything to you," said Josh

"Ok, I will call him," said Max

After which Josh gave Max the money and he left the shop and got back to his hotel.

Max was in his room sitting on the chair. He picked up the phone and called the number that Josh had sent him.

The phone rang and after 2 rings a guy picked up

"Who's this," said the guy

"Hi, my name is Max, Josh gave me your number," said Max

"The gold dealer," asked the guy

"Yes," said Max

"Ok, what do you want," said the guy

"He said that you are some kind of financial wizard, and to get the starter package," said Max

"Ok, send me your address, I will be there as soon as I can," said the man

"Sure," said Max after which he sent him his current address after which the man hung up the call.

Max was a little confused but he was sure that security in this place was tight enough that no one could harm him here.

About half an hour later Max heard the noise of someone knocking on the door, he got up and opened the door.

"Hello, we just spoke on the phone," said the man and entered inside

"Let me introduce myself first, my name is Noah, since you are asking for the starter package, then let me first tell you what that is, in this package, I ȧssume that you are new do this kind of work and therefore let me first tell you from which country are you," said Noah

"India" replied Max

"Ok, then we will set some international accounts, channel them through some shell companies, and you will have your entire money accessible to you in India, which you can usefully without the fear of tax agencies," said Noah

"And how much will you be charging for this," said Max

"20% of the money we launder for you" answered Noah

20% seemed like a lot to Max, but it was not like he could ask around what the going rate for a money launderer was, and this guy sounded legit, so Max saw no harm in trying him out.

"Ok, how soon can you start" asked Max

"If you give me the money now, I can have it transferred into your new account in two days," said Noah

Max thought a little and asked

"I give you the money right now, I can't do anything if you screw me over, can I"

Noah smiled and said

"Honestly that is the question everyone asks me when they first do business with me but let me tell you something, this is not your everyday world, this a different world, and here the only people who can stay in this business are people who are trustworthy, and I have been in the business for 12 years"

Max also smiled and handed him the bag of cash that he had received from Josh.

"Good, now I will need your passport and the documents that you have from India," said Noah

Max gave him his passport and all the documents which Noah scanned with a portable scanner he had brought. After which he left.

After 2 days, Max received a call from Noah and he gave Max all accounts he had just opened, after deducting all the fees and Noah's cut from it, Max now had 1.5 million dollars in his new international bank account.

After he saw the balance he was so happy, he could now spend this money however he wanted and nobody would be suspicious.

He immediately went out of the hotel and refilled all the supplies he needed after which gave his account details at the hotel and told them to extend his stay indefinitely, after which he started preparing to go to the other world.

Max got ready to go, meanwhile, he was thinking that this time he had gotten food from Switzerland which was a lot different from food in India, but he was sure that Alia was going to love trying this new type of food, also while he was on earth he had missed Alia a lot more than he had expected but he had decided that he was just missing her because he was much more bored here.

Max pressed the buŧŧon and his mind went blank and then he was standing in the house where he and Alia were staying at.

But as soon as Max opened his eyes, Max could smell something weird in the house, it was a heavy smell of blood and rotten flesh.

This horrible smell was not uncommon in this world but generally, he had only encountered it when he was outside, this was the first time he smelled it inside the house.

Max took out the gun from his storage and started following the smell to see where it was coming from, as he slowly proceeded towards the kitchen, where he saw blood flowing to the room inside like somebody had been dragged into the room.

Max started getting a very ominous feeling, the smell, the blood, his senses were telling him that something terrible had happened.

He proceeds forward and slowly entered the room, but as soon as he saw what was inside the room, he was shocked, he immediately rushed to the corner of the room.

He saw that Alia was lying there, there wounds all over her body, her face had been slashed deeply, he could see inside her stomach and her legs looked like they were completely broken.

Max looked at the state in which Alia was in horror.
