Calla Lily, The Eunuch King's Goblin Bride

"Just what is this crooked man thinking? Some outsider is better than me? I can decapitate the heads of any men here in this kingdom with my b.a.r.e hands. Your own wife prefers me in your own bed. That is how good I am. There is NO FREAKING WAY!"

Adonis was taken over by his anger and rage as muddled all the prestigious things that could state him superior. He thought he was the best man in the whole kingdom with weapons and with women.

And there it was hard for him to digest that Theon was praising someone else in front of him.This greatly hurt his ego, shattered his prideful nature eventually evoking something in his heart.

[Faked Cough]

"Would you like a handkerchief? You might want to wipe off your sweat." Eunuch Eros who remained silent all this time handed over a cloth over to Adonis.

Already enraged Adonis quickly drawn his long sword out and slashed against Eros.

Everybody in the main court of palace becomes alerted and the ones standing in the corridor closeby- surprised. The swing of Adonis broke the white marble and cracked the very marble piece of the floor.

The part rose uo into air with the force applied by Adonis and the flying pieces travelled in a straight path smashing onto the wall.

It all happened with the speed of light and within the blink of eye that no one was able to comprehend the situational chaos.

The point of contact of Adonis's pristine sword became all dusty, no one could see if eunuch Eros was alive or pinned under the sword. As the very fast paced movement made the settled specks of dust to rise in a storm.

"Your majesty, it is quite dusty in this place." Eros appeared standing beside King Theon . "Let's walk over to there, My King." Eros chipped in a calm and soothing tone, with hands tucked behind on h.i.p.s.

Adonis was surprised-in a daze. He did not see Eros dodge, the thought that he had him pinned under his sword made him happy, but he was a couple of feet away and standing besides Theon.

"Adonis! What are you doing? Have you gone crazy? Whom did you draw your sword out onto? You dare think to hurt my guards?" Theon raised his voice in a commanding tone. His goofy nature got erased and he painted his face pretty serious.

"Please don't your majesty! He did not attack me, he was just chasing a fly away which was on me with that long sword." Eros playfully mocks and answers to Theon.

"How dare you! My king! I plead you! Let me have a duel with Eros. I will prove it to you right away who is the real man!" Adonis burns with angry temperament, his veins popped out as he requests Theon to have a duel with Eros.

"Ok! You can be the man of man's, I don't mind at all. Whatever helps your manly ego, Sire. I don't want to bother myself with men who reeks of sweat and carries a long sword to hit flies." Eros mocks back to Adonis.

"Huh? What? What is he saying? This asshole wants to joke with me now? Who do he think of himself as."

Fuming with rage Adonis became more than pissed at that moment and dashed forward to land another hit on Eros.

"Watch out Adonis! I order you to stand down!" Theon who is just besides eunuch Eros becomes dreadful-scared at the sight of sword swinging to his way.

[Swoosh]

"Huh?" Theon stuck surprised.

"Huh?" Adonis in the same feeling replies in shock too.

King Theon and Eros are both a few feet away from Adonis now. Eros just did not dodge himself but he even brought Theon with him.

"Ah Eros! I thought I would be loosing my arm." Theon gasped for air in panic. He did not know what to do anymore.

"I barely escaped from a danger and now I'm getting dragged into another." The thoughts were passing through Theon's head reluctantly.

"Y-you ADONiS! Stop this madness at once." Theon shouts out at Adonis emphasizing in rage, who looked pretty pissed.

"You majesty! It's ok, he is your right hand man after all. Don't punish him just because he did not follow your order. I request you don't order your soldiers to capture him." Eros pleaded to King Theon who was still in confused state.

"What are you talking? King Theon would never order such a sentence." Adonis was filled with c.o.c.ky-ness in his head.

"Guards! Arrest this madman right here and take him to the solitary!" King Theon ordered the guards. Who instantly appeared out of nowhere.

Adonis became dumbstruck once again with the words of Theon. It was an unexpected punishment.

"Arrest me, huh?" Eyes of Adonis got darker as he looked down in rage . Four guards tried to approach him with pointy spears.

[Swish]

The guards were cut down in one swing. King Theon becomes a scared'y at this moment. Adonis looked ready to tear anyone down in the path of his sword.

More guards reached there, trying to capture Adonis. The guards rained down the spears on Adonis but even the spears were cut down like leaves by his sword.

Adonis seemed to be walking forward slowly but his sword was slashing down all the guards.

"This is beyond madness Adonis! You will pay for this." King Theon yelled disbelieving. Adonis while pointed his finger towards Theon.

"I'm not mad My Lord. This man is cunning and deceiving us. Let me handle this my king." Eros stepped forward from Theon who was cupping his hand and walked upto Adonis.

Adonis charged towards Eros swinging his sword.

[Clang]

The long sword of Adonis got stuck in between the fingers of Eros. Both were close to each other while Adonis was trying to pull his sword back in disbelief.

"Fine I will accept your challenge." The eunuch finally agreed while holding the sword in between. "With you killing the guards and defying the King Theon, wouldn't care if I kill you. I wanted this kind of duel, a normal friendly one would be damn boring."  The smiling face of Eros turned evil with the words he whispered close to Adonis's ear.

"Did he make up all of this as a scene-in his plot? Just because he does not like a boring duel?" Adonis became filled with regret and pity for making a fool out of himself. When eunuch Eros gained the praises and sympathy of King Theon.

Eros made him a bad guy, he angered Adonis with words and made him to defy the king's command. He made the king to order Adonis's arrest. He cunningly made him kill the guards and finally took on the challenge at the end. Just for more fun! What kind of a real madman Eros was-a mere eunuch.
