He put his thoughts aside and walked slowly to the corner of the room, where he noticed that the huge golden hourglass was still the same as before – not full. Ye Sinian stood in front of the hourglass indifferently as he lowered his head and opened the control panel, where it displayed:

The points bar that turned gray remained the same.

Ye Sinian looked at it for a while, then averted his gaze, and focused on the small green tree on the corner of the control panel.

Suddenly, powerful energy from the tree entered his soul continuously. Ye Sinian tightly pursed his lips and clenched his fists. His phoenix eyes were tightly closed.The ends of of his eyes were slightly upturned like a phoenix tail, and the curled eyelashes casted a flickering shadows. He preserved with all his strength, enduring the raging tremors that shook his soul.

A golden branch silently crept out of the panel, the slender branch moved towards Ye Sinian as it circled around him. Just as the branch was about to touch him, it heard a groan from his mouth.

The golden branch froze suddenly. Perhaps it was because the energy pouring into the soul was too overwhelming, the young man’s face turned a little red, his eyelashes trembled incessantly, and his red lips were tightly 

pursed.

The golden branch reacted quickly and whooshed towards Ye Sinian. His flushed face on which his gorgeous phoenix eyes stay shut. However, it stopped and instead touched his hair with longing, and slowly backed away. A faint golden light flashed, and the golden branch returned to its original position as the small tree on the control panel. It was like everything happened just now, had never happened.

By this time Ye Sinian already began opening his eyes slowly. He glanced at the seemingly normal green tree on the control panel with some suspicion, wondering about what the golden light he saw in a trance just now was.
