Careful Not To Break Reality

'How many times have we fought alongside each other, Deva?' Lady Lily asked as her red space suit sparkles brightly thanks to the sunlight from Chang E.

'Not enough times, Lady Lily.' Sir Deva said with his usual deep voice, 'I longed for many more.'

'Aren't you a sweet talker~' Smiling at the response, Lady Lily turned her attention back towards the designated landing area where Elmyra would send three of Brakagi's forces. They will be facing off against Brakagi, the leader of the One Rock government and owner of Ring of Instability, Hong Fu, the owner of Probable and the most troublesome artifact on the battlefield and finally a third unknown artifact user.

A tall task to be sure, but that's also how much Zero trusted Lady Lily and Sir Deva. They have always been capable of doing the near impossible tasks and missions even before they had obtained their artifacts. When it comes to solid combat, there is even less of a doubt of their abilities when put together.

The best plan of attack put together by Zero was to ensure the most even battle odds even after whatever adjustments Hong Fu makes. A battle between artifact users of this caliber is going to be short and sharp, and both sides prepared for battle eagerly.

The two Rockies and a human appeared suddenly around the area, and Sir Deva raised his fist forward before a sphere of mass is projected in the middle of the three. Brakagi raised his hand and immediately dispelled his first attack as the concentrated sphere just fell apart inside Sir Deva's hand.

Without saying a word, across the deadly silence of space, Brakagi turned his attention towards Sir Deva and prepared to dismantle him from all the way out here. However, before that even happens, Lady Lilly knelt down onto the ground and created a gigantic maze out of the materials of the small moon they are on, trapping the trio inside while obstructing all vision.

Then, she constructed spikes out of the ground and wall materials, making them charge towards the trio in an attempt to crush them completely.

The attacks come one after another, and their plan against the seeming invincibility of Hong Fu's artifact was to simply overwhelm him in battle. When being pressed against the wall and forced to react quickly to barrages of attacks, he is likely to become tunnel visioned and only focus on the handful of paths of probabilities around his immediate future.

Outside the battle, with his advanced strategic planning capabilities, there is little chance that the two can combat that. But there is a difference between battle strategy in the war room and battle tactics in real time.

As spikes of earth grew from the ground, Brakagi, Caliditas and Hong Fu were all sent flying in opposite directions.

'Cal!' Brakagi shouted, his hand smashing across the earthly spikes and dismantling all of the materials that came his way as he tried to make his way towards her. However, the more of the materials that he destroyed with his Ring of Instability, starting from melee range and then onto his projection, the more materials Lady Lily has access to and is able to control. So this is a losing fight of creation versus destruction for him.

Then, Hong Fu dashed across the air, kicking Brakagi out of the way of a crossing of spikes growing out from the ground before he also swiftly avoided the attack with a twisting motion in mid air. Brakagi landed against the side of a steep slope as his claws dug deep into it and stopping his body's movements like a gecko.

Scanning around the enviornment, it was only Hong Fu that he could see so far. However, the local communication system still appeared to be functional.

'Caliditas! Are you okay?' Brakagi spoke in the channel before gesturing for Hong Fu to find out the location of Lady Lily, the one who's responsible for creating the maze that surrounded all of them.

'I am afraid Caliditas isn't going to responding soon.' Sir Deva's voice came through the channel, causing both Hong Fu and Brakagi to freeze, 'she is captured, but alive. Now, surrender, Mr President.'

Breathing in and out rapidly in order to calm himself, Brakagi f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y stilled his trembling fists as Hong Fu looked at him with a mortified look. During training, Brakagi has also dipped inside his artifact avatar mode, and the results were the wiping out of an entire celestial body. Thankfully there were absolute nothing in that region of space, so it wasn't exactly like a second coming of the Olympus system.

Glancing over towards Hong Fu, who pointed his fingers in the direction of Lady Lily, Brakagi nodded his head and started moving.

He is walking directly towards the layers of walls propped up by Lady Lily, and ignoring the basic rules of crossing a maze, he walked through the walls with keeping his hand forward, dismantling and breaking down all of the walls as he went. Lady Lily scrambled to recreate the walls, but Brakagi started moving faster and faster alongside Hong Fu that there is little point in restoring the walls of the maze that was already left behind them.

'Tsk.....' Pulling the brush pen from the ground, Lady Lily prepared for Brakagi's close quarter assault as the wall in front of her was busted open with rocks and earth fragments flying in all directions. The furious Rocky president flew through the air with an outreached hand towards Lady Lily intending to take her down in a single blow.

'Not this easy.' Lady Lily smiled coldy before smoothly evading Brakagi's barrage of attacks, and as he started to project his attack from far away, Lady Lily quickly reformed and reorganized a stone column from the ground up, blocking Brakagi's sight and causing the attack to miss.

'Brakagi!' Hong Fu shouted through their communication channel while highlighting parts of the ground, 'hit there!'

Nodding his head, Brakagi did as Hong Fu instructed and turned his Ring of Instability instead towards a wide circular area on the ground. The rocks crack, materials flowed and a gaping hole suddenly formed underneath Lady Lily's feet. She wasn't expecting Brakagi to target the environment and started a slow free fall in the low gravity scenario.

A pitfall? Really?

A lackl.u.s.ter attack even under normal gravitational conditions...what's the point of this...

As Lady Lily reached out with her brush pen to reform the ground underneath her, a shadow dashed across her peripheral vision, and Hong Fu appeared with a blade in his hand preparing to cut down Lady Lily as she had her head turned away! Catching a glimpse of Hong Fu's movement, Lady Lily spun around and parried with her brush pen.

'Good choice.' Hong Fu lets out a proud chuckle before slashing downwards, sending Lady Lily flying straight down into the ground. Then, Brakagi followed up with even more of the environmental damage, dismantling all of the structures nearby and sending waves of earthy materials crushing down on Lady Lily, intending to crush her underneath all of that stones and rock and bury her alive.

'Lady Lily!' Sir Deva asked worryingly before he also grunted lowly.

'Don't worry about...' Lady Lily said before her communication channel was cut off by all of the rocks above. Seeing the endless waves of rocks from above, she lets out a sigh and shook her head, 'What a miscalculation by me...'

Gripping her Pen of Rearrangement and digging her nails into the artifact, she activated her artifact avatar mode.

Flashes of light pierced through the raining rocks, and suddenly, the entire landscape of the moon shifted. All of the walls of the maze disappeared at once as Brakagi and Hong Fu quickly spotted Sir Deva who's now fighting with Caliditas. Then, before they could move towards them, Lady Lily reemerged from the pitfall as a being of light being pushed up by the very rocks that once intended to bury and crush her.

Far out in the distance, Sir Deva evaded a ball of molten material thrown out by Caliditas before projecting a sphere of mass behind the female Rocky and slamming her body into the ground. Then, as he prepared to capture her for good, a flash of light glowed from Caliditas as she also entered into artifact avatar mode. Uncountable amounts of infrared radiation poured out of her body and forced Sir Deva back as the front side of his battle suit have been severely burnt with parts of his skin also burning.

Not paying a single attention to her companion, Lady Lily instead proceeded to completely alter the landscape of the little moon to her liking. Mountains and slopes are created with her swipes while valleys and craters are reorganized with her taps. Brakagi is still holding onto his artifact avatar mode with Hong Fu being the one to provide him with the information regarding where to go and evade Lady Lily's earth morphing attacks.

However, she finally landed a hit, as an uprising chunk of earthy materials sent Brakagi flying over the air towards Lady Lily.

No...the low gravity sent Brakagi flying towards Sir Deva and Caliditas instead! Turning around quickly, Sir Deva was generating multiple sphere of mass around Caliditas in an attempt to throw her out of her artifact avatar mode when Brakagi, flying through the air, locked onto him with his Ring of Stability!

'DEVA!' Lady Lily screamed, 'activate it now!'

Sir Deva turned his head towards Lady Lily and immediately spotted Brakagi who's targeting him. Without a single change in expression, his body also glowed but that light was dimmed moments after. Grasping onto his c.h.e.s.t and stomach as if something was suddenly turned all around within him, Sir Deva immediately lost all control of his body as his body slowly drifted backwards.

What.....was....Sir Deva tried to process what has happened within him, but neither himself nor his battle suit understood what has happened. It was as if a meat scrambler was suddenly teleported into his body and it started messing up all of his organs at once, turning his lungs upside down, his intestines into knotes and liver into a ball...

Of course, his nanotechnology enhancements have already been kicked into overdrive, but it doens't look like they would be activated in time for him to fully return into the fight....Such is the fates of all artifact users.

When your attack power is so much above your durability and recoverability, all you can wish for is to one shot the other person before they oneshotted you...

With his last remaining strenght, Sir Deva poured his all into one last attack, creating a sphere of mass directly into the small sun that was Caliditas.

She was flattened onto the ground the same time he was, and at least one artifact user on the other side is taken alongside him.

'Brakagi...' Calidiatas said lightly as the bones in her legs screamed and screetched with her on the ground, 'my president...please go on...'

'YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!' Brakagi screamed out before intending to kill, projecting his hand over Sir Deva's body. However, before he can focus and access into his interior, Lady Lily completely deformed the ground underneath him and carried Sir Deva away.

In the meanwhile, Hong Fu landed a hit onto Lady Lily, sending a blade through her battle suit and into her stomach, but she didn't even flinch once as Hong Fu backed away and rejoined Hong Fu.

With the blade still inserted into her side, Lady Lily opened up the ground in front of her, as the chunks of material carrying Sir Deva's body present her man in front of her.

He looked more vulnerable in this state than ever, and yet...Lady Lily reached out with a hand to touch him before quickly reverting all of the damage dealt to him by Brakagi with her Pen of Rearrangement. The shock of his system is still lingering, but at least there won't be any long term damage at this rate.

Looking up at the other side of the battle, Hong Fu is also performing some emergency procedures on Caliditas in order to keep her injuries to the minimum. Thankfully, Sir Deva's last ditch effort did nothing more than surface level damage to her body, and she appeared to have just been knocked out.

Is this all worth it...For the first time, Brakagi wondered.

This meaningless fight...the bloodshed....No. I can't let it stop here.

Standing up and leaving the treatment of Caliditas to Hong Fu, Brakagi prepared to make his final march onto Lady Lily, when suddenly Jozzor appeared besides with Miss D.

'Miss D...Jozzor...' Brakagi sure is glad to see some familiar faces, though Jozzor looked more serious than usual, 'what was the reports from the other fights...'

'Vindy's out, but we took down a few on the other side too.' Jozzor said, and Miss D proudly puts both hands on her h.i.p.s and gave Brakagi a thumbs up.

'So.....'

'It looks like we got four fighters left on each side then.....' Looking around the group, it was Miss D, Brakagi, Jozzor and Hong Fu.

In the meanwhile, only Zel, Rydel, Alrith and Lady Lily remained in battle ready condition, as she yanked out the blade to the side of her body.

Then, minutes after Jozzor's appearance, the space besides Lady Lily warped like a soap bubble before Rydel and Alrith jumped out from Zel's Pocket domain.

'Please take care of him.' Lady Lily said with a f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y normal tone, and Zel nodded as he picked up the body of his rival and old enemy before disappearing into thin air once more.

As all of the artifact user that remained looked on at the other sides, the battle at the Chang E system finally reaches it's climax.
