Celestial of the Prophet

4 Chapter 4: Resuscitation

The next morning, Sagitar woke up in his bed, panicking from the unbearable pain of being shot. It was like his death had never happened. The feeling for him could not be explained physically but he felt like he had somehow dodged fate. Like the warmth in his body was restored by light energy and carnation. The pain he felt surged to the back of his skull, then, in an instant, it was gone. Sagitar sat up quickly, stunned and panting heavily. He turned to notice that there was a beautiful woman, standing beside his bed. The woman left him awestruck because she was the most attractive woman he had ever laid his eyes upon. She was a blue-eyed blonde with long and radiant hair. However, Sagitar was more fascinated by the gorgeous white robe she was wearing. He looked at her feet to notice sandals tightly strapped to them. As he stared at her, he felt the warmth of a bright light emitting from her body. Sagitar was in awe of this graceful lady.

"Huh?" Sagitar murmured.

"So you've awoke," the woman said.

The light that engulfed the woman suddenly faded from radiance to an emit.

Sagitar wondered what was going on, who is this woman in my room? How did I get back here? Last night I left the bar…Oh My Word! As he kept wondering, suddenly, it dawned on him that he was shot the night before.

"Am I in heaven? I never pictured heaven would look a lot like my room," he commented.

The surroundings in his room were observed to ascertain that he was safe in his home and on his bed.

"Far from it Magnus," the woman replied without any show of emotion.

"Obviously," Sagitar retorted. "I know that I am not dead because this is my room," he elaborated.

"That's right. I recovered you," the woman said.

"Wait a minute, I have seen you before," Sagitar realized. "I remember your face in the window before I was shot…no it could not have been real could it?" He mumbled.

Sagitar realized that he claimed he was shot, this was said out loud without a second thought. And his speech was automated, words uttered without too much put into it at a frequency far beyond natural. It dawned on him.

"Well, it was real Magnus, I was trying to warn you," the woman explained.

"Who exactly are you anyway? Scratch that. What are you?" Sagitar asked.

"I am a Celestial of the Light," the woman replied gracefully.

"Nah…that is impossible…you cannot be…can you," Sagitar rambled, going back and forth, unable to bring himself to accept what was told.

"I think deep down, you know the truth," the woman said firmly.

"Wait a minute," Sagitar called. "How can I be sure you are what you say you are?" he asked.

The woman stepped back and moved into a more open space in the room. Suddenly, two magnificent wings sprout from her back, beaming bright.

Sagitar was mouth agape. For a moment, he was speechless, staring in disbelief from his bed. "Unreal," he said, gathering himself together. "An angel in my house. Oh! I knew it. I was always a believer," Sagitar said with the enthusiasm of a child that saw Santa.

The Celestial's response to his comment was a faint look of disapproval.

"That's above the mark" she responded.

Within a blink of an eye, her wings disappeared and she moved closer to Sagitar who was in a frenzy. Whatever transformation that had taken place at that intensity of an instance made it clear, Sagitar needed no other proof to reveal that she was what she claimed. And if she wasn't, she was at least supernatural.

"Although it matters not to you, it does to me. I prefer the term Celestial rather than Angel. That term 'Angel' is too closely associated with the false stories that you mortals have conjured and set into literature," the Celestial stated as she stared down at Sagitar on the bed.

"Oh right, Celestial it is then," Sagitar responded.

The revived wonderer stood up from his bed. He stood beside her and examined every inch of her body. He could see the perfect curves that drew attention to her backside, thighs that were shaped in feminine glory and no abnormalities, not even a single trace of a spec. Without caution, his eyes kept tracing down her skirt, legs revealed past her knees. Her skin looked so clear and of youth, no trace of wrinkles.

"Stop it Sagitar, you're making me feel uncomfortable," the Celestial complained.

Sagitar closed off his smirk.

"You know my name already. What is your name?" he asked.

"My most recent name is Celeste," she replied.

"Wow, Celeste…as in Celestial. How ironic is that." Sagitar mumbled.

"The translation of my original name is Vesteele, and it means Divine Beauty," Celeste explained.

"I think I will stick with Celeste. However, looking at you in every way I possibly can, Divine Beauty is probably the word," Sagitar complemented.

"How flattering," Celeste stated.

"Are all the Celestials as attractive as you are?" Sagitar asked.

"I am the most attractive Celestial, made in God's ideal image," Celeste pointed out.

"Right. What I am trying to say is, are you all hot—perfect body, face, figure, skin and all that?" Sagitar asked with deep interest.

"No one is more beautiful than I, for I am Divine Beauty," Celeste answered.

"I get that already…That is not what I was asking. Jeez, you are so literal," Sagitar replied, pacing in frustration. "You know what, never mind."

"Jeez? I am not really familiar with such slang—it is confusing," Celeste said.

Sagitar looked at her for a moment and could not believe the responses he had got from her. To not understand slang meant that she couldn't be from the land or region. Even so, she understood that he was speaking in ellipses, figures of speech more than the literal language of the English man.

"Man. You really are an odd one." Sagitar muttered.

He shook his head and was left with unease.

Slowly, Celeste brought up her right hand and placed it on Sagitar's forehead. Sagitar looked at her, wondering what her motive was.

"What are you doing?" Sagitar questioned.

"Just tapping into your consciousness so I can understand you more," Celeste replied.

"Whoa. That feels weird," Sagitar mentions.

After Celeste removes her hand, she looks at Sagitar with disgust. "Concerning the Celestials being attractive, for a perverted man such as yourself, all the Celestials, the females you want to know about more, though, are…how you put it…ten out of ten," she claimed coughing gently towards the end of her reply.

Throughout the process of her response, Sagitar had been staring at Celeste amazed by her presence, he was barely taking any information in and it took him some time to respond back. He slowly took a seat at the edge of his bed leaving space for her to sit down as well. "Really, they are all that hot," he paused. "You know, I met a ten out of ten at this bar that I went to…wait a minute, I am not a pervert."

"Most mortal men of your age are. Especially men in this era. And yes, that includes you. But I suppose that is debatable to what you understand," Celeste insisted.

"Alright, whatever, I don't have to like your opinion of me just because you said it" retorted Sagitar.

Celeste sat beside the open space that had been left on the bed and turned towards him. "I need you to do me a favor Magnus," she sparked a conversation.

"What do you need?" Sagitar asked.

"Think back to last night, what do you remember after you were shot?" Celeste inquired.

"What do I remember…I cannot quite make it out. It is coming back to me but still all fuzzy" Says Sagitar.

He tries to think about the flashbacks daunting his mind.

"Let me make it easier for you to recall," Celeste said calmly. She raised her hand and put it on Sagitar's forehead once again. "Just close your eyes," she made it clear.

"Alright," Sagitar replied.

Slowly, Sagitar delved into deep within his conscious mind with the assistance of Celeste. At first there was nothing in sight but his sights were blinded by a voiding force. There he would unite his experience through the nether realms with the Celestial. It is at this moment, he started to see how the event of his murder unfolded. Right in his room, he was experiencing the incident all over again. It was so real that he could almost feel the pressure of being shot in his chest. Suddenly Sagitar saw a glowing light, which soon appeared to be the gates of heaven. Standing by this gate were four Celestials—two males and two females—dressed in white robes, looking just as attractive as he had imagined them to be. Suddenly a fifth Celestial appeared before them, who happened to be Celeste and she was facing the four other Celestials, who looked extremely angry while they were interacting with her. The other four Celestials awaited the arrival of their leader before they could do anything courteous. And anger was seen within them that it could not be hidden. Then light emerged, she—their leader—appeared standing in the middle of the four, in all her glory and splendor. The leader was a female Seraphim standing among the rest with six wings. Her name was Luciel.

"Why did you revive the boy?" Luciel asked, levitating on one foot into the air on the heavenly platform that was like an endless mist. Like nothing Sagitar had ever heard, her voice thundered and caused him to cower in fear.

"Surely you must know the answer to that," Celeste replied.

"I have heard your story from the rest of the brethren. You believe he is a Sephiroth?" Luciel asked.

"Yes," Celeste replied.

"You're a grunt Celeste. And among us, you are too much of a lower rank to sense the birth of God's body on earth. You truly believe that you could detect something that I, a blessed Seraphim couldn't," Luciel blurted out.

"It is written in the Tetragrammatons' Bible. I have read all the signs," Celeste replied.

"So that's why you've been going down to earth to play the role of Guardian Angel, to that mortal," Luciel yelled. "You've fallen from grace," she added.

"I only went down to see it with my own eyes," Celeste claimed.

"Without the order from the highest!" Luciel exclaimed. "I have no choice. From now on you'll live the rest of your life wandering the earth as fallen," Luciel ordered.

"Wait. Luciel you don't understand. There's something not right in heaven. I'm sure of it. Just think about it for a second. Things are breaking down just like they did in Satan's fall. And concerning Lucifer's fall as an addition, something doesn't add up," Celeste tried to explain.

"I've heard enough!" Luciel shouted. She raised her right arm up in the air and suddenly, there was a flash of light leaving the after image of a symbol which was an alchemic seal. "Celeste, I cast you out!" she shrieked. Then, she, the leader of the five Celestials before Celeste drops her raised hand at an incredible speed. Like throwing an invisible rock down with Gravity's yield, Luciel's arm forced its way into the direction of the plane.

"Nooo!" Celeste cried.

From Sagitar's perspective of Celeste's experience, everything suddenly went black, Celeste was dropping through darkness where there was no hope of light. And the Celestial fell through a cocktail of voidness and total darkness. Soon, a rather familiar reality re-animates itself, as she falls through the sky to the earth bound. Dropping at an incredible speed, about to crash on her back into a city field, Sagitar opened his eyes.

"Oh my word! All that really happened. Didn't it? I think I remember everything now," Sagitar said, putting his right hand on his head.

"Now you know everything. You see, I have fallen but I will get back to heaven again," Celeste claimed.

"But how will you do that?" Sagitar asked, with serious concern in his voice.

"With your help," Celeste indicates his insist. "I am sure of it. You are a Sephiroth," she restated her claim.

"How am I supposed to help you. I don't even know what a Sephiroth is. This is too much to take in," Sagitar complained.

With Sagitar's reaction to her claim, Celeste begins to doubt herself. A feeling of emptiness grew in her stomach and she stared at the ground in misery. "This goes deeper than you simply being a Sephiroth so I'm unsure where to start," says Celeste, looking seriously upset and confused.

"Hey, don't be sad," Sagitar said placing his hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her, while they were both still seated side by side on the bed. "If you're fallen, you probably don't have a job or duty any more, am I right?" Sagitar questioned.

"Well, you are very right about that," Celeste answered.

"Then you've got all the time in the world to figure it out and I will help you," Sagitar assured her, taking his hand off her shoulder.

Celeste looked at Sagitar without any emotion. However, Sagitar noticed a slight smile curl up on her face for a split second before it returned to an emotionless state.

"Your hands, they felt really warm and comforting," Celeste remarked.

Sagitar scratched his head at the awkward reply. Celeste stood up from the bed and walked towards the door leaving Sagitar behind, who is left wondering what she plans to do in his home without guidance. Sagitar remained in his room with his right eyebrow arched, watching the door close as Celeste stepped into the upper corridor.

"Where are you going?" Sagitar muttered. He stepped out of his room to find no trace of Celeste. The Celestial before him had literally vanished into thin air. He was confused and for a moment thought he was losing his mind. Sagitar checked all the rooms in his house but they were all empty.

Where'd she go? Sagitar wondered.

And wandered he did as he detoured downstairs in search of Celeste. He then started to feel strange. For Sagitar, it began to feel like his brain was vibrating and something was welling up deep within him. In that state, he entered a trance. Sagitar could sense a connection to a force that was out of this world. He closed his eyes for a moment to focus on what he was feeling. All of a sudden, a shining light of a concentric circle appeared in a distance away from him.

"What in the world?" Sagitar yelled, opening his eyes in awe. "What is that light?" he muttered to himself.

The young man would close his eyes again. Surprisingly, he could still see that concentric circle and the light emitting from it. This time, Sagitar was freaked out. He was unable to concentrate. Somehow he had tapped into something beyond what he could understand. He needed answers. He attempted to tap back into the trance-like state he was in, a moment before, by closing his eyes. On closing his eyes, he saw an attractive woman calling someone on her mobile phone. She had long brown hair. The person revealed was actually Alma. In the same trance, Sagitar saw his mobile phone vibrating on the desk in his room. What was more bizarre was the name displayed on the phone screen was also, Alma.

What am I seeing? he questioned himself.

Sagitar opened his eyes wondering how they had found Alma and what it all meant. About a minute later while he was still left in thought, the ringtone on his mobile phone upstairs in his bedroom began to play which meant someone was calling him. Hearing it from downstairs, he proceeded to his bedroom to receive the call. He looked at the name of the person who was calling him. Shockingly enough, it turns out it was Alma from last night.

It couldn't be possible that I just saw into the future. Like a premonition, Sagitar wondered to himself.

He picked up his mobile and answered it.

"Hello," Sagitar answered.

"Hey Sagitar," Alma cooed

"Hey Alma," Sagitar responded.

"So you actually picked up this time," Alma iterated.

"What do you mean this time?" Sagitar asked.

"Well I called you last night not long after you left the bar, you didn't pick up. I was just calling to make sure you were okay and you safely got a taxi home," Alma explained.

"I see. Well thanks for your concern but I'm a big boy you know. Anyway yes I did manage to get home safely last night," Sagitar laughed.

Wait a minute! That's not even true, Sagitar thought to himself.

"Well that's good to know. You sure you're alright?" Alma asked, sounding compassionate and disconnected at the same time.

"Why are you so worried, you miss me already?" Sagitar chuckled.

"No it's not that. You know those two thugs we saw at the bar. I overheard them talking about you. One of them said something like, 'That boy Sagitar, thinks he's so tough because he rolls with Vestibul. Well we're gonna give it to him. I wonder what his face is going to look like before we waste him'," Alma explained.

"What...you serious?" Sagitar asked astonishingly.

"Yeah that's why I called you to make sure you were okay," Alma claimed.

All the dots began to join together and it was at this moment that Sagitar admitted to himself that he really was murdered the night before but was brought back from the point of death by the Celestial he had just got acquainted with. Regardless of this acceptance, he would tell Alma otherwise.

"All is well. I'm fine really," Sagitar responded playfully.

He did not want Alma to worry about him. Also, he realized that she might not even take him seriously if he were to explain his revival and the fact that he had met a celestial being. And thus, he chose to keep most of the experience garnered to himself.

"Alright, I'll stop pestering you now," Alma whizzed.

"By the way Alma, do you like the theatre?" Sagitar asked.

"The theatre…I haven't been to one in quite a while but I guess I do, yes," Alma replied. At first, the question startled her but she found her composure.

"Would you like to go on a date with me? I could take you to the theatre Wednesday evening, if you want? To see Romeo and Juliet?" Sagitar asked.

For a moment, there was silence on the line. Sagitar was not sure how she would respond but he awaited her reply, patiently. He checked to see if the phone line had cut off but the connection to the network seemed fine. Since it was taking too long, he chose to break the silence. "Or not?" Sagitar smacked.

"Yeah I'm up for it," Alma replied, like she was suddenly jerked to life.

This silenced Sagitar just for a pause. But he wouldn't make his response more awkward than what was given.

"Sweet. I guess I will meet you outside the hippodrome just before 19:30 because that's when it starts," Sagitar appointed.

"I'll be there," Alma assured him.

"Alright. Well I guess I'll see you then, bye Alma," replies Sagitar with a smile.

"Bye Sagitar," Alma replied back, ending the phone call.

As soon as the phone call ended, Sagitar launched his fist into the air. Yes! He shouted hyperactively, revealing how exultant he was.

However, that happiness was short-lived. Sagitar began to think about everything that had recently happened. He wondered if the celestial was even coming back considering she had just vanished without explaining herself. Something she said made a mark on his mind—the word, Tetragrammaton.

It was a word like no other and he wouldn't waste time thinking about it. Instead, he decided to do his research. Sagitar took a seat by his desk and turned his laptop on. As soon as it was on, he opened the internet browser to do a search on this powerful word—a word and one that gives him the chills. It did not take so long for Sagitar to get some results from the search engine he used. There were many definitions for it. However, the key explanation being, the Hebrew word for God, consisting of the four letters Y,H,W,H, now pronounced as Adonai or Elohim in substitution for the original pronunciation forbidden since the 2nd or 3rd century BC.

Is that really what it means? Sagitar asked himself.

He was sure that the celestial was referring to the deeper and hidden meaning behind the term. He reclined in his chair, sighed, still puzzled and wandering.

"Could there be something we humans don't know. She claimed herself to be a celestial, not an angel—I guess that shows we may be wrong about a lot of other things. Just what did she mean in detail when she said, 'Tetragrammaton', Sagitar wondered.
