Challenger Room

Chapter 4 - True Eyes

Surprised by the sudden metallic sound, the three friends looked toward the sound and they saw something golden in the middle of the colored liquid on the floor. Picking up the object, they discovered that it was the back of an old key, the ones they wore in castles' jair.

"A piece of the key, what are we going to do with it?" asked Marquez, who recovered after he had vomited.

"With only one part we can not do anything, we have to get the other parties," Felps replied, looking at the liquids on the table.

"WAIT, WAIT, YOU WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE THESE LIQUIDS ALSO" cried Luiz in despair for fear of having to drink the liquids on the table.

Not paying attention to Luiz's words, Felps begins to drink the liquids in the same order that Marquez took, after taking the purple as Marquez, Felps vomited and heard another metallic sound.

Picking up the metal pedal, it seemed to be the middle part of the key, looking at Luiz and then signaling to Marquez, Felps picks up the liquids while Marquez grabs Luiz behind him so he does not run.

"LENGTHY YOU CAN NOT HURTOUOUUURR" not paying attention to Luiz, Felps forces the liquids into Luiz's mouth in the same order he and Marquez took.

As expected, after taking the last combination of liquids, Luiz vomited and so they managed to get the last part to form the old key. When Felps took the three parts of the key in hand, they began to flutter in front of him and began to merge thus forming a complete key.

"Well now that we have the key and it's golden, we should use it in the book since it has a yellow caddy," said Luiz, to disagree, after all what they just saw was something that was impossible to really happen.

As neither of them knew how that was possible, no one wanted to talk about it, so they followed Luiz's suggestion of trying to use the old key in the book with the caddy.

Arriving in front of the altar, they put a key in the caddy that was stuck in the black book on the altar and turned, listening to the opening sound of the caddy, when the caddy opened the book also opened up alone revealing what was inside .

The book had not even a sheet inside, the cover itself was used as paper. on the left side they had the words THE TRUE EYES and underneath it had a pentagram with numbers clockwise they were: 1, 2, 4, 3 and 5. On the left were four sentences that seemed to be scrambled or in another language.

"What do we now?" asked Marquez, looking at his friends who were trying to understand what those letters and the pentagram meant.

"The only clue we got that can help us now were these numbers on the pentagram should if any sort of order we should follow, what's in that room that we can follow that order?" asks Felps looking around the room.

after looking around the room, Luiz takes the torch that was near the cross and says looking at the book with the torch in the hand "we have 5 torches, it may be something related to them."

At Luiz's suggestion, they decided to try after all they had no idea what to do at that moment, so they erased the other torches and started to light them in the order of the pentagram being that of the cross the torch that represented the number one.

Igniting the last torch, the ground began to shake causing the three to fall on the ground, the tremor lasted for about 10 seconds until finally stopping, lifting from the ground, in the middle of the room arose a pillar about one meter high with a skull of some creature with horns, resembling the skull of a goat only that much greater and frightening.
