We just ate our dinner with the Martinez Family and right now, I am standing here at the corner while holding a glass of cranberry juice and staring at the window. I honestly don't know why but I feel so confused right now. My fiance's name is Shinichirou Hiroshima Martinez which is quite close to the name Isaiah has given me yesterday but the Shinichirou Hiroshima that Isaiah had mentioned to me is a very distant person but the way this Shinichirou Martinez acts right now is completely different from what Isaiah had described that's why… I'm really confused right now… Is he really the one who planned to kidnap me or their names are just coincidentally almost the same?

"What are you doing here?" My attention was suddenly diverted when this guy suddenly appeared beside me...or maybe I was just too focused on thinking things that's why I didn't notice his presence?

"I'm just thinking of something." I said simply that made him just nod before he walks on the other side of the wall and stand there while smilingly looking at me. W-what's with that?

"You honestly look much more beautiful in person…" Shinichirou said that made me diverted my attention to him and returned it outside of the window.

"Thank you…" I said as I tried to stay calm but in reality… I honestly don't know why but I feel so uncomfortable every time we're a bit closer to one another. It feels so weird…

"By the way, this our first time meeting each other, right?" He asked once again while I can still feel his gaze on me.

"Yes." I said that him just nod. Oh no… Why do I feel so nervous right? It feels like my heart will burst out in my c.h.e.s.t because of so much nervousness… I took a deep breath first before I drink on my cranberry juice. You have to calm down, Chloe…

"May I call you Chloe?" Shinichirou suddenly asked that made me just nod while my attention are still outside of the window… Oh no… What's happening to me?

"May I ask you something, Chloe?" I heard Shinichirou suddenly asked me that made me just nod. Just ask already so that we can go back to where are family is right now!

"How do you do these past few days?" Shinichirou suddenly asked that made me confused. What?

"Did that night gave you a shock? Or you're just pretending that nothing happens that night?" Shinichirou asked that made me turn to look at him and saw him simply looking outside of the window. W-what?

"W-what do you mean?" I asked as my heart started to beat even faster. W-what was that supposed to mean? I just saw him smiled before he returned his attention to me.

"That night… Did my plan succeed, Ms. Chloe Ramirez?" Shinichirou finally said that made my legs lose my balance that made me leaned on the wall for support. N-no way… S-so t-that m-means...

"Y-you… Y-you are really that person…?" I asked as I tried to clear my mind and calm myself but I couldn't because fear filled up my whole system. I'm starting to have a hard time breathing. W-what? W-what should I do?

"Oh, so you mean to say that you already know that person's identity even before I give you clues just now…" Shinichirou suddenly said while smirking at me before he get closer to me. N-no… I don't have that much strength right now to yell or even pushed him away from me. What's happening to me!?

"Did Isaiah mentioned it to you already? Oh, wait... Maybe he introduced himself to you as Gin, am I right?" Shinichirou said that gives shivers to my body. H-he's really that person!!!

"Geez… I never thought that he'll betray me just because of a girl like you…" Shinichirou suddenly said as he distance himself to me… What?

"Now that he finally betrays me… Should I kill him now?" I heard he said that made me returned my attention to him.

"W-what did you just said?" I asked that made him smiled.

"I don't need a useless person just like him." He said heartlessly. What?

"Useless person? But that person is your friend." I said as I saw his face suddenly becomes serious that made me even more nervous.

"You also know that?" He asked seriously that made me just silent and avoided his eyes. I'm so scared to look at him. Someone, please help me.

"How much more you knew about me, Ms. Chloe Ramirez?" He asked as he gets closer to me once again and before he even gets closer to me, I immediately stops him.

"No… T-that's all I know…" I said as I stopped him.

"Oh really?" He asked as he smirks at me again. W-what does he really want from me!?

"Since we're getting engaged and soon to be a married couple soon… May I now have your first kiss?" I heard he said that made me lose my temper and unconsciously, I was about to slap him when he suddenly speaks once again that made me stopped.

"Are you sure that you're going to slap me in front our family, Ms. Chloe Ramirez?" He asked as he returned his gaze to me once again. W-what?

"W-why did you do that?" I asked as I tried to calm myself. I saw him chuckled before he crossed his arms across his c.h.e.s.t.

"Why you asked? Hmmm…? Let's say…" Shinichirou said as he gets closer to me again.

"I just want to have fun." He whispered to me that made my eyes grew wider. What?

"What?" I asked that made him smile even more.

"Why do you look so surprised?" He asked as if he's not expecting my reaction just now.

"Tell me, Ms. Chloe Ramirez…" He said while smirking and staring at me. T-this guy… What does he want?

"Did you have fun that night?" He said that made me lose my temper and was about to slap him when he suddenly stops it and held my hand.

"You know that you can't do that or else…" He said as he gets closer to me that made me pushed him and walks to where our parents and my brother and sister Lily are sitting right now. I saw my brother looked at me with so much concern and worries in his eyes. I just smiled weakly at him before I sat beside him.

"Oh, where's Shinichirou, Chloe?" Mr. Martinez asked that brought me back to reality. That's right… They didn't know this person's schemes.

"He's---" I was about to speak when this devil in disguise suddenly appears.

"I just get something to drink, dad." He said while smiling at us before he returned his attention to me and gave me a fake sweet smile. You are a monster!

"So where are we now?" I heard Mr. Martinez asked my dad.

"We're talking about the venue of the engagement party." My dad said that made me shocked. What!?

"Oh, right! I think it's better if we do it in a place where we can invite our business colleagues as well. After all, our companies will become one soon too, right?" Mr. Martinez said that made my dad just nod while still smiling. No way!

"You're right but I want their wedding to be civil as possible." My dad said that made Mr. and Mrs. Martinez just nod.

"May I suggest something, Mr. Ramirez?" This devil in disguise suddenly suggested that made my dad turned to look at him.

"Don't be so formal. Just call me uncle." My dad said that made this devil in disguise smiled in victory. No! Don't get deceived by his innocent looks, dad!

"Then, may I suggest to make our engagement civil as well?" This devil in disguise suddenly suggested. As if, I will definitely allow that to happen!

"Why?" My dad asked.

"Because I just want to celebrate that special day with the people who are very important to us." He said before he turns to look at me again that made me nervous. Oh no… Why do I have a feeling that this person is planning something again?

"Hmmm…? Sounds good. What do you think, Paolo?" My dad asked. No, dad. Please don't get deceived by him!

"Yes, I agree with that." Mr. Martinez said. Oh no… What should I do? I can't let this happen… I don't want to get married with this devil in disguise, Shinichirou Martinez! No, wait… We still have another way but...

"So let's start preparing for the venue now!" My mom said excitedly. No, mom. Please don't!

"Yes, I will help you, Christine." Mrs. Martinez said in excitement. No… I just took a deep breath before I take a look at my brother who's just sitting beside me while looking at me with so much worry in his face.

"Are you alright?" My brother whispered at me that made me just smiled weakly at him. I think I don't have any other choice left but to agree with it…

"Brother..." I said that made him even more worried.

"What?" He asked while we're still whispering with each other.

"I've already decided." I said that made him confused.

"About what?" My brother asked before I returned my attention to Shinichirou and saw him staring at me that made my heart beat faster once again. No… I definitely can't get married to this person…

"Chloe?" My brother asked once again that brought back my attention to him. I don't know why but I still can't say it. I still can't say it!

"Ahm, excuse me." My brother suddenly said that made everyone of us turned to look at him.

"Yes, Charles? Would you like to suggest something?" Our dad asked that made my brother shook my head.

"No, dad. I just want to show Chloe something in the kitchen. Would you mind excusing us for a moment?" My brother asked that made dad and mom looked at each other.

"Sure but don't take too long." Mom said before brother nodded his head and gently held my wrist and pulled me towards the kitchen. As we finally reached the kitchen and luckily, the maids are not there so we could talk to each other privately.

"What happened? You look so pale right now… Do you even know that?" My brother asked that made me shake my head.

"Chloe, what happened? Did that b*stard do something to you?" My brother asked that made me shake my head before I hugged him tightly.

"Chloe…?" I heard my brother asked and before I knew it… My tears started to fall down on my cheeks.

"I can't marry him… I don't want to marry him..." I said as my tears continues to fall down in my eyes.

"I know but in order for us to stop this engagement is for us to find something against that Shinichirou." My brother said seriously as if he didn't realize that the person who plans to kidnapped and that person is just the same… Or could it be that he really doesn't realize it until now?

"Brother… That Shinichirou Martinez..." I called him.

"What about him?" My brother asked. He really doesn't realize that they were just the same! I was about to tell him that when I suddenly remembered something… Brother said yesterday that if he finally knew who that person was… He might have killed him if he saw him… No! I can't tell him right now! I definitely can't tell him!

"Brother…" I said before I distance myself to him and saw him looked at me seriously.

"What is it, Chloe? Tell me what's on your mind…" My brother asked that made me took a deep breath. I know in myself that I can't do it either but this is my last chance… This is my last hope that's why... I'm so sorry, Christian…

"I'm going to marry Ethan." I said that made my brother's eyes grew wider in shocked. I'm so sorry, Christian but I have left with no choice… I don't want to marry that person because I only love you but I can't also broke my family's tradition that's why I am so sorry, Christian… I'm really sorry… Please forgive me, Christian...
