I just walked out of the canteen while my heart still couldn't stop from beating so fast right now. Why…? Why did Dylan suddenly asked me those things? I mean… I am not prepared yet to be asked by him those things...

"Hi, my dearest cousin!" My attention was suddenly diverted when I heard my crazy cousin's voice coming closer to me. I just closed my eyes first as I calm myself. Calm down, Chloe… You have to calm down...

"Hey, what's wrong with you? You look so scary right now, you know…" I heard my cousin said that made me opened my eyes and stared at him. He's now standing in front of me while curiously looking at me. Do I really look scary just now? I was about to speak when I suddenly saw Nathan's face became so serious that made me frowned. What's with that?

"Wait… Did Ethan do something to you again, Chloe? Did he hurt you or something?" Nathan suddenly asked seriously that made me shake my head.

"No, I'm fine… He didn't hurt me…" I said. He didn't hurt me physically, he just annoyed me...

"Then why do you look so mad right now, Chloe?" Nathan asked once again that made me sighed. Nathan… He's really persistent...

"Nathan---" I said but was immediately interrupted when Nathan suddenly speaks but this time, in a more authoritative way...

"And don't you dare lie you to me, my dearest cousin because I know you too well, okay? Just tell me the truth." Nathan said in an authoritative voice that made me sighed. Okay, fine...

"We just happened to talk about our past, that's all." I said that made him frowned. What? He's not satisfied with that?

"What kind of past was that?" Nathan asked that made me arched my brows.

"That's none of your business, Nathan." I said that made him stopped and glared at me.

"How can I even give you a proper advice if I don't know what exactly has happened to the two of you?" I heard Nathan said that made me just sighed as I shook my head.

"You don't have to give me advice, okay?" I simply said before I started to walk once again when Nathan suddenly stops me.

"Wait, Chloe..." I heard Nathan called me that made me turn to look at him.

"Look… I'm actually not in the mood right now to argue with you, Nathan so please get straight to the point already." I honestly said to him that made him stopped before he took a deep breath.

"That's the problem with you, Chloe…" I heard Nathan suddenly said that made me arched my brow. Huh?

"What?" I asked. What does he mean by that? It feels like, I really did something wrong to Ethan when in fact, he was the one who keeps on asking those weird things to me a while ago!

"You always lose your temper and ended up walking away just because you're already annoyed by the situation or by the conversation." I heard Nathan said seriously that made me stopped. A-am I really like that? I saw him sighed once again before he put both of his hands on his pants pocket.

"Listen to me, Chloe… You should change that attitude of yours because you are a Ramirez." Nathan said seriously that made me stopped. Wait a minute… I didn't do anything wrong so why is he lecturing me about this right now!?

"It won't solve anything if you keep being short tempered and hard headed… Believe me, Chloe so go back to where Ethan is right now and talk to him." Nathan said in an authoritative voice as he pushed me back to the canteen again. What!?

"But Nathan---" I said as I struggle on his hold when Nathan suddenly stops and looked at me seriously.

"No buts, Chloe because if you really want your relationship with Ethan to last then learn how to be humble and listen to what other people are saying towards you." Nathan said once again that made me took a deep sigh. My goodness… It feels like, I really did something wrong to him when in fact, I didn't do anything wrong towards him. My attention was returned to my cousin when I suddenly felt his hand on my shoulder as he gently tapped it while smiling at me.

"Don't worry… I'll be just here, okay?" I heard Nathan said as if he's giving me an assurance. Wait, assurance for what? And because I really don't have the energy to argue with him right now, I just simply nod my head at him

"Fine…" I said before we walked back inside the canteen.

"Wait, look… The princess is back…" That's the first thing I heard when we entered the canteen again. By the way, I was named as the Princess of St. Alfonse Academy years ago while my brother is the King of St. Alfonse Academy. I really don't understand why they suddenly gave us that title here in school but it just happened until my brother and I started to get used to it already… After all, we also have the Queen and Prince of St. Alfonse Academy...

"Oh no… The princess will see." I heard other people say. What will I see? What are they talking about? As I continue to walk towards where our table was a while ago… I can still hear them gossiping about me. What's happening here?

"Chloe, what are they talking about?" I heard Nathan suddenly asked that made me shake my head. I actually don't know what they are talking about right now but as we get closer to where Ethan is right now...

"Wait… Isn't that your friend, Chloe?" My body froze the moment I saw Dylan and Rachel sitting beside each other while Dylan is whispering on Rachel's ear.

"Yes…" I simply said while my eyes are still with them as I saw them laughed at each other. Yes, that's Rachel and they're too close with each other right now… I don't know why but I suddenly felt uneasy that made me turn my back on them as I started to leave the canteen while my crazy cousin is still following me.

"Hey!" I heard my cousin called but I never stops from walking not until someone held my arm and turned me around and there, I saw my cousin looking at me with so much worries in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Chloe..." I heard Nathan said before he hugs me tightly. We are already here outside the canteen now but I can still feel the stares of other students on us… I couldn't help myself but took a deep breath as I let my cousin hugs me.

I honestly don't know why but I suddenly felt so disappointed and betrayed on what Dylan did. He promised… No. Wait, let me rephrase that… We made a contract that we should not flirt with anyone else not until we decided to get separated but what's worse… Dylan is flirting with my own best friend!? I know that I shouldn't feel this but… I don't know why but I can't stop myself from feeling that way...

"Wait! Chloe!" I heard Dylan called. No, he's following me. I walked as fast as I could because right now, I'm really not in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Chloe!" I heard Dylan called me once again but still, I ignored him not until I suddenly felt someone hold my wrist that made me stopped from walking and when I turned to look at that person… I saw Dylan holding my wrist gently as he catches his breath while looking at me straight in the eyes.

"F-finally..." I heard Dylan said that made me frowned. What?

"What do you want?" I asked as I saw him gasp. What?

"You're really mad at me, are you?" I heard Dylan asked me as if he didn't expect what I just said. Well, I'm irritated and annoyed at the same time right now so it's better if you just leave alone now, Dylan!

"I am not so let go of me now." I said while still glaring at me as I tried to remove his grip on my wrist but he just tightens his hold on it that made me even more irritated. What exactly does he wants!?

"Before I let you go… Let me ask you something, Chloe..." I heard Dylan said as he becomes serious again. What?

"Just say it." I said. Just say it because I can't really stand this already. I'm really annoyed right now and I need to be alone to calm myself. I saw him took a deep breath before loosening a little his grip on my wrist.

"Did you saw us?" I heard Dylan asked that shocked me. What?

"Huh?" I asked. Wait, did he knew? I mean, did he noticed that I was there a while ago?

"Did you saw Rachel and I talking with each other at the canteen a while ago?" I heard Dylan asked me but wait, he doesn't sound sure about that so...he's just merely asking me.

"That doesn't concern you." I said and was about to walk again when Dylan suddenly tightens his grip on my wrist.

"Is that really hard to answer that question, Chloe?" I heard Dylan asked a bit irritated that made me frowned.

"I just don't feel like answering that question!" I said as I tried to remove his grip on my wrist once again when he suddenly pulled me closer to him that made me stopped as I looked at his eyes.

"Why are you being like this, Chloe?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked that made me looked at him seriously.

"What do you think? You're ruining our plan so please let go of me now before it's too late." I said as pushed him away from me and I was about to walk away again when Dylan suddenly hold my wrist again.

"No." He simply said that made my eyes grew wider. What's wrong with him!?

"Let's go back to the classroom first." I heard Dylan suddenly said before he pulled me to walk beside him.

"What?" I asked as I was walking beside him while he's holding my wrist.

"I said, let's go back to the classroom first." I heard Dylan said as he started to walk a little faster.

"What the!? Will you please let go of my hand already, Dylan?" I told him but he didn't do it until we reached the classroom and the moment Dylan opens the door… I was shocked when I see a banner hanging on the board and Rachel holding a bouquet of flowers...

"W-what's this?" I asked as I saw everyone looking at us while smiling widely. W-what's happening?

"You were curious why we stay so close like that a while ago, right?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked that surprised me.

"W-what are you talking about?" I asked as he simply gives me a smile.

"Well, the reason why you saw us whispering with one another a while ago at the canteen is because of this…" I heard Dylan said as he loosened up his grip on my wrist and gently held my hand that made me returned my attention to him. What?

"Ethan asked me if I can buy these purple hyacinth flowers for you, Alex…" I heard Rachel said that made me turn to look at her and saw her smiling at me. R-really? But what flower was that again?

"Purple hyacinth?" I asked him that made Dylan just nod.

"My younger sister loves flowers and she once mentioned to me that purple hyacinth flowers also means that you're asking or wishing for someone to forgive you that's why I asked Rachel if she can help me buy those flowers because I just came back from abroad, right? So I'm still not familiar with the surroundings here…" I heard Dylan explained to me while still looking at me with those gentle eyes of him.

"Are you serious?" I asked while still looking at him. I saw him just nod as he smiled at me once again.

"This time, Chloe… I'm really serious." Dylan said before he let go of my hand and get the flowers to Rachel as he gave it to me.

"Please believe in me this time, Chloe… I'm really sorry for what I have said earlier. Please forgive me..." I heard Dylan said sincerely as I nodded at him and accept the flowers from him that made the whole class cheer on us before Dylan gently pulled me towards him and hugged me while I'm still holding the flowers.

"I told you!" I heard my cousin said as he teased us that made me smile. I don't know why but I feel like, I chose the right choice and that's to have a fake relationship with Dylan...
