ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

I just woke up from a very long sleep, I think because I feel somehow refreshed. Wait, what time is it? I turned to look at the wall clock here in the room and I was so shocked to see the time.

"7:45 PM!?" I said in disbelief. No way! Is this for real? Did I fall asleep three times today? I just took a deep sigh before I sat here on the bed while lying on my back on the headboard. Oh, that's right… I was crying all out a while ago and it's all because of Christian once again. I couldn't stop myself from sighing. So that's the proof that I still love him until now, do I? But what about him? He just got a girlfriend not too long after we broke up. I just sighed once again when I suddenly felt a pain in my heart as tears escaped my eyes once again but I immediately wiped it using my thumb.

"Goodness… Not again, Chloe..." I said to myself while wiping my tears. Oh come one, Chloe… You've already promised Dylan, right? So don't waste any more tears just because of that guy who can immediately replace you in his life… I just took a deep breath before I went off the bed and walked towards the door. I just went out of the room when I saw that no one's here. Hmmm…? I wonder where Dylan is right now… Oh well, I feel hungry so I guess I should order now, right? But should I order a meal for one person or two people? Wait, let me look for him for a while…

I just checked the whole unit and I didn't see Dylan here which is pretty rare because ever since we arrived here, Dylan has never left without me… Hmmm…? I wonder what's his reason but for now, let me order something because I'm already hungry now. After all, I didn't eat lunch a while ago because I woke up late so I just ate breakfast that he personally made for me that's why I feel so hungry right now. Hmmm…? I'll just order something for him.

DYLAN ETHANIEL's POV

"You're exaggerating, Xander. I know what I'm doing, okay?" I said while I'm still in the elevator talking to Xander through the phone. I just went out to buy some ice cream and Mont Blanc because I want to at least make Chloe happy… Well, I can't also bear to see her crying like that because I am one of those people who can't bear to see girls cry.

[What do you mean by that? It's not an exaggeration but most likely, I'm more worried about my sister, Dylan!] I heard Xander said as he yelled at me that made me sigh once again.

"I know that, Xander but I already calmed her before I left." I said as I tried to calm him down. Well… Actually, Xander called me once again while I was in the grocery store a while ago and asked me about Chloe so I told him what happened earlier including Christian's new girlfriend and that's the reason why he's mad at me right now.

[But you still left her, Dylan! Anything could happen and you know that but you still left her! How could I entrust my sister to you?] I heard Xander suddenly said that made me stop. What's that supposed to mean?

"Don't you think it's already too late for you to think about that, Alexander?" I asked him seriously. So he is starting to doubt me now?

[What?] I heard Xander asked in surprised.

"Don't you think it's already too late for you to realize that you entrust Chloe to the wrong person, Xander? Do you think I can really neglect her like that?" I said seriously to him while still waiting for the elevator to reach our floor. I know that the reason why he's so mad at me right now is because he is worried about his sister but what I didn't like on what I just heard right now was the fact that he is starting to lose his trust in me...

[I'm sorry… I was just worried about her.] I heard Xander suddenly said and I think he finally realized what he just said a while ago. I just took a deep breath as I nod my head. Oh, I'm here now.

"It's alright.I'm here now. Talk to you later." I told him when the elevator opened as I went out of the elevator.

[Okay but please take care of her, Dylan…] I heard Xander suddenly said that made made me just nod while I'm now walking towards our room.

"Of course. I will, Xander." I said before we ended the phone call as I finally reached our hotel room and opened it. Is she still asleep? But it's been hours already… Is she really okay?

"Chloe?" I called her as I knocked on the door of the room but no one answered me. So she's still asleep?

"Chloe? Are you still sleeping? Can I come in?" I asked as I gently knocked on the door once again but no one answered. Why? She can hear me, right? The room isn't soundproof anyway so why isn't she answering me? I was about to open the room when I suddenly heard someone speak behind me.

"Oh, you're back…" I heard Chloe said that made me so shocked as I immediately turned to look at her and saw her holding a tray.

"Goodness! You scared me! You made me so worried just now, Chloe!" I said in shock while still looking at her. How long has she been there already?

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was in the kitchen when I suddenly heard you but are you worried about me? Did I do something wrong" I heard Chloe suddenly ask me innocently that made me just sigh.

"N-no… I was just worried because…" I said while calming myself. Geez… This is all Xander's fault. I almost got a heart attack because he's been bothering me nonstop since a while ago!

"Because I wasn't there? And you thought that I might commit suicide again after what had happened a while ago?" I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me stop as I returned my attention to her once again. H-how did she know about that?

"I'm sorry… I was just---" I said but was interrupted when I saw her took a deep sighed before she gave me the tray that she was holding a while ago.

"Forget it. Where did you go anyway? Have you eaten already?" Chloe asked before she smiled at me as she crossed her arms on her c.h.e.s.t. Ah, that...

"I just went to the grocery store to buy something…" I said as I showed her the plastic bag that I was holding. I saw her simply nodded her head before she returned her attention to me once again.

"So have you eaten already?" I heard Chloe asked once again while still looking at me.

"No..." I said as I suddenly realized that I haven't eaten anything yet.

"Is that so? Then let's eat together?" Chloe said that made me just nod.

"Sure." I said before we both went to the dining room to eat our dinner.

"You cooked?" I asked as soon as we sat on the chair across from each other. The food looks and smells so delicious.

"Of course not. I just ordered everything." I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me smile as I simply nodded my head.

"Oh, that's right…" I said. I almost forgot that she didn't know how to cook in the first place and if she does, she might burn the whole hotel. We prayed first before we started eating when I suddenly saw something that confused me.

"Wait, why did you order seafood pasta? You are allergic to shrimps, remember?" I asked her while pointing at the seafood pasta near me. I saw her just smiled at me before she started speaking.

"Oh, I just ordered it without thinking. I'm sorry…" I heard Chloe said before she ate her lasagna. What?

"No, it's alright but why did you order it anyway?" I asked her once again before I ate the salad. It's impossible that she forgot that she has an allergy to shrimps, right? I wonder what's on her mind when she ordered this.

"Because I got used to it." Chloe suddenly said that made me confused. What?

"Huh?" I asked in confusion. What was that supposed to mean? Get used to it? So she's been doing this for a very long time now? But why?

"Well, Christian loves seafood and because he is a famous singer… We used to date in his house all the time that's why I got used to ordering all of these." I heard Chloe suddenly said that caught me off guard. Christian again?

"Can I ask you something, Chloe?" I seriously asked her that made her return her attention to me once again.

"Again? I thought we're already finished with that…" I heard Chloe said as she smiled at me once again that made me smile. She's pertaining to our conversation this morning. I just shrugged my shoulders before I drank my water.

"So what is it?" I heard Chloe asked as she finally gave me her permission.

"Before you two started dating… What kind of person was he?" I asked her that made her stop and obviously she was so surprised to hear that and unfortunately, I don't have any plan to take back what I just asked.

"Christian? Hmmm…?" I heard Chloe said as I saw her finally regain her composure.

"Well, he is Half Filipino and Half American who is now residing in Japan because his parents migrated there years ago." I heard Chloe said seriously at me while still smiling at me. Oh, is that so?

"And when it comes to his characteristics… Christian is a very caring, loving and understanding boyfriend. He never missed a single day making me smile and making me feel how important I am to him...before." I heard Chloe said as her beautiful smile suddenly changes into a bitter smile. Chloe…

"How are you no? Are you okay now, Chloe?" I asked while still looking at her that made her return her attention with me once again.

"Why? Do I look like I am not okay?" I heard Chloe suddenly ask that made me shook my head immediately.

"No… I-it's just…" I said but was stopped when I saw her suddenly smiled at me.

"You are worried about me again, aren't you?" I heard Chloe asked once again that made me just sighed.

"Well, you can't blame me for getting worried about you…" I said seriously at her that made her chuckled. Geez. What's with that?

"You know what, Dylan?" I heard Chloe suddenly asked once again that made me return my attention to her once again.

"What?" I asked before I ate my salad.

"It's been a long time since I have received such concern from someone other than my family and Rachel." Chloe suddenly said out of nowhere that made me stop while I'm still looking at her. What? What's with that?

"That's why thank you for worrying about me and thank you for being my friend, Dylan." I heard Ch I heard Chloe suddenly said as she finally returns her attention to me once again and saw her smile at me.

"That's nothing…" I said as I smiled at her as well. I don't know why but I'm so happy to hear that coming from her. Well, maybe because Chloe is not the type of person who can easily trust someone that's why I am so happy to hear that right now...

"Chloe..." I called her that made her turn to look at me.

"Hmmm…?" Chloe said while chewing her food. Hahaha! How cute.

"Are you still sleepy?" I asked her that made her shook her head immediately.

"What? No way… I already fell asleep three times since this morning." I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me laugh. Oh, that's right. Why did I suddenly asked that anyway?

"Then… Do you want to come with me after we have our dinner?" I asked her that made her furrowed her brows.

"Where?" I heard Chloe suddenly asked.

"You'll know when we arrived there." I said as I smiled at her that made her look at me suspiciously. Hahaha! I don't know what's on her mind right now but I have a feeling that it's something that can make me laugh. Hahaha!

"So you're really sure that I will be coming with you." I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me just nod.

"Of course because I can feel that you're curious to know what kind of place it was that." I said confidently that made her smile as she shook her head.

"Geez. You really know me so well now, Dylan." I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me just nod.

"Of course, Chloe." I said that made the both of us smile before we started eating again. I just hope that Chloe will also like that place.
