ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

Today is already Saturday and it's already been three days since that incident happened to me and honestly, I'm starting to get nervous right now because tomorrow is the day that my so called fiance and husband to be will be visiting us in our house. I just took a deep breath before I turned to look outside the window. I don't know why but I have a super bad feeling about this. It feels like something will definitely going to happen tomorrow...or I'm just overthinking again?

"Are you all right?" I heard my brother suddenly asked me while sitting in the passenger seat. I just simply nod at him.

"Are you really sure? We can just surrender him to the police station for them to interrogate him instead of us." I heard my brother suggested that made me returned my attention to him.

"No, brother. I want to personally ask him about that." I said as I saw him looking at me seriously.

"And who told you that I'm allowing you to talk to that person?" I heard my brother said so seriously that made my eyes grew big. What!?

"What? But we already talked about this, right?" I asked and saw him shrugged his shoulders before he divert his attention outside the window. What's with that!?

"Brother---"

"Chloe…" My brother suddenly said that made me stopped from talking. His voice suddenly became so cold and scary.

"Yes, brother?" I asked when I suddenly felt Ethan's gazed at me that's why I turned to look at my side and saw Ethan seriously looking at me. What?

"Do you want me to become the kind of brother who never cares about his sister?" My brother suddenly asked. Wait… Why does he suddenly sound so mad? What did I do?

"O-of course not…" I said while still looking at him. What's wrong with him?

"Then stop acting like you don't need a brother like me." My brother said so cold and seriously that made me stopped. W-what?

"T-that's not what I meant to say, brother…" I said. No, brother… You just misunderstood what I actually wanted to say… I saw him just nod before I saw him looked at the rearview mirror to look at me.

"Then stop complaining already. I am your older brother and the heir of our family." I heard my brother said with so much authority that gives shivers on my body.

"I'm sorry…" That's the only thing I said before we all stayed silent. I just took a deep breath. I really didn't mean to hurt my brother's feelings but… I'm just worried about him because I know what a Charles Alexander Ramirez can do when he's angry. Gosh… I suddenly remembered the time when he finally knows that the person we brought to the hospital before is also the same person who kidnaps me...

=====FLASHBACK TWO DAYS AGO=====

"What did you just say, La Flair!?" My brother said so loudly that even our maids and butlers turned to look at our direction. Geez. Brother, don't shout! Anyways, we're here at the living room right now that's why some butlers and maids are also here.

"Please don't shout or else, they'll suspect that something's happening here…" I said as I tried to calm my brother right now but looking at his angry face and clenching his fists so tightly… I don't think he will do what I asked him to do.

"How can I calm down, Chloe? All this time, I was so stupid to monitor his health and shoulder all that person's medical expenses because I thought that he also saved you that time but the truth is, he is the one who brought you in that situation!" My brother said angrily to us that made my heart pound so hard. Oh no… My brother is so scary right now...

"But brother… He really tried to save me." I tried to explain in a more calm way but...

"I don't give a damn care!" My brother said so loudly before he throws the flower vase on the floor that made me cover my ears with both of my hands.

"Xander!" I heard Ethan shouted at my brother that made me opened my eyes again and saw him standing beside my brother while his right hand is on my brother's left shoulder.

"Will you please calm down a bit?" I heard Ethan said and saw my brother shove Ethan's hand and turned around as I saw him breathe so heavily. He's so mad right now… I don't know why but my body starts to shake when I suddenly feel Ethan's gazed at me and when I looked at him. I saw him gently smiling at me as if he's giving me an assurance. Can he really handle my brother's anger?

"How can I, Dylan? We are talking about my sister here!" My brother yelled once again as he turns around again and glare at Ethan. B-brother is so furious right now… W-what should I do?

"I know and I understand you. You know that, right? That's why you should calm down, Xander…" I heard Ethan said before brother took a deep and heavy breath before he finally sat on the couch beside him.

"Then why the hell didn't you two tell me about this early!?" My brother asked him while still yelling at him. I saw Ethan took a deep sigh before he turns to look at me and motioned me to sit on the other couch that's why, I followed him and sat on the couch across them before I saw Ethan sat beside my brother.

"Xander... We all know that if you knew about this early then that guy might already be dead by now." I heard Ethan said seriously but in a more calm way. I pity Ethan… He's being a shock absorber to my brother's anger...

"H-he's right and I'm just fine, brother so you don't have to worry too much about me." I said as I tried to lower down the tension between the two of them when my brother suddenly turns to look at me with those scary eyes of him.

"Yes, I can see that you are perfectly fine now but what if Dylan didn't save you that night? What do you think will happen to you?" I heard my brother asked seriously but this time, he's not shouting or yelling anymore which calms me down as well.

"But brother, Ethan came at the right time so stop making a fuss already." I said that made my brother angry again. Wait. What did I do? Wait a minute... D-did I just said… He's making a fuss about this? Oh no!!! I was about to take back what I just said when he suddenly starts to yell at me again.

"I am not making a fuss, Chloe! I'm worrying about my younger sister's sake. For goodness sake! I'm just worried about my one and only sister's safety! How dare you say that I'm just making a fuss right now!" My brother said so angrily at me that scared me big time. Oh no… I really did make my brother so mad right now… What should I do? I need to do something or else, this person might do something that he will definitely regret in the future...

"Actually, I understand your brother's feelings, Chloe." I heard Ethan said that made me turn to look at him in surprise. Why did you suddenly take his side!? No way… What should I do? I just took a deep breath to calm myself before I start to speak again.

"It's my fault. I'm sorry for what I've just said, brother." I said as I sincerely apologize to my brother. I saw him took a deep breath before leaning on the couch where he was sitting and seriously looked at me.

"If you're really sorry then I want to talk to that guy in person." He said so seriously that nobody can ever refused.

And that's why we are on the way to the hospital right now. I just sighed as I remembered those scary moments again. To be honest, my brother is really not the type of person who gets mad so easily but when he gets mad, he's becoming more like our dad.

"Brother, may I ask a favor to you?" I asked that made him looked at me but this time, he's no longer glaring or staring at me.

"Of course aside from stopping me to kill that person when I see him." He said that shocked me. What!?

"Brother!" I said that made him laughed. Geez. He's making fun of me again...

"Hey. I was just joking, Chloe. Of course, I wouldn't do that. So what is it?" I heard my brother said and asked once again. My goodness… That really scared me, you know...

"Just try to talk to him nicely, okay?" I said as I asked him politely. I saw him simply just nod, assuming that he's agreeing with me but...

"I can do that if he answered my questions nicely as well." He said that made me just nod. My brother is really stubborn and yet he's always asking me why I am so stubborn when in fact, he's also stubborn just like me.

"By the way, what does he look like, Ethan?" My brother asked Ethan who's simply sitting beside me. Now that I think about it, Ethan is being quiet the whole time… Is he okay?

"He looks fine to me." I heard Ethan said before he looks at my brother.

"Oh really? Then who's more handsome to the three of us?" My brother asked that made me frowned. What kind of nonsense was that? I doubt Ethan will definitely answer that.

"Of course, we're more handsome than him." I heard Ethan answered that made my brother just nod while smiling widely.What!? I just took a deep sighed. My goodness… What kind of conversation is this?

"Young Master, we've finally arrived." My brother's personal driver said as he parked the car. Oh no… We're really here now...

"Okay. Wait for us here, understand?" My brother asked sternly while his personal driver nods at me seriously as well.

"Yes, young master." My brother's personal driver said politely before we all went out of the car and started to walk towards the hospital but while we're walking… I'm starting to feel nervous again because I don't trust my brother's words sometimes.

"Brother…" I said that made my brother turned to look at me while still walking beside me.

"What?" He asked seriously.

"Don't kill him, okay?" I asked calmly that made him stopped from walking while still looking at me seriously.

"Then give me three valid reasons not to do that, Chloe." He said that shocked me. What!? Is he serious? But what if he's really serious? Oh no...

"You're the heir of the Ramirez who holds a big reputation, you have a wife waiting for you at home and..." I said seriously at him but he still remains calm while still looking at me.

"I don't want my only brother to get imprisoned because of me." I said. That's the truth because every time that some guy's are taking advantage of me before… It's either, he's sending them to the hospital for months or their company will definitely suffers because of what they have done to me. In short, every time that I'm involved in any incidents... My brother always lose himself and almost killed those people who harmed me.

"You know what? Even if I killed him, I doubt they will imprison me." He suddenly said that brought me back in my senses and looks at him. W-what did he just say?

"So you're really planning to kill him!?" I asked. Is he really serious!? No way! No! We have to get out of here right now! I was about to pull him back to his car when he suddenly started laughing. What!?

"Hahaha! Of course not, Chloe! I still have so many responsibilities in life and our parents taught us to be responsible always so I will never abandoned those people who needs me just like you." He said as smiled gently at me before he put his hand on my head and messed up my hair.

"Hey! Will you please stop messing up my hair whenever you want, brother!" I said as I shoved his hand that made him laughed once again. Oh geez. I'm serious here, brother!

"But seriously, Xander…" Our attention was diverted when we heard Ethan suddenly speaks so seriously. What's wrong with him?

"Don't get carried away with your feelings later, Xander." Ethan said as he looks at my brother so seriously. I think… I know what Ethan wants to say. I saw my brother suddenly took a deep breath before tapping his friend's shoulder.

"I know, Dylan. I know what I'm doing so you don't have to remind me all the time…" My brother said to Ethan that made me realize something. Every time that my brother is angry… His so called friends that I was once knew at some parties that I attended with my brother in the past… They always avoids him when they started to feel that my brother is getting mad already but Ethan… He did not only absorbed my brother's anger before but he also managed to calm him down… Their friendship might be that deep that they actually know how to calm each other when needed.
