Atlas World, Asura Blood Kingdom.

Black Blood City

This place was the home of all dark players who loved PK-ing and robbing other players. In this place, almost everything was legal. Its environment was much worse compared to the Death City of the Blind Abyss Empire.

The security within the city was also almost nonexistent. And due to that, fights could be seen everywhere. There were also robbers in every corner of the streets, patiently waiting for prey to walk by.

"Heh! So, this is what a dark city of this game looks like, huh? It is no different to the other games that I've played before," smirked a hooded person as he walked through the streets of the city.

The players who saw him walking alone couldn't help but lock their gazes at him. Some of them were even thinking that this particular player was an idiot for walking to such a lawless place all by himself.

Due to those thoughts, these greedy players started making their way towards the hooded person in a slow and coordinated manner. It was as if they were a group of hungry wolves that just found their prey.

Unfortunately for these players, they happened to find the wrong target this time. And these were the exact thoughts running inside the heads of the experts within the area.

"Fools!" muttered one of the LionKin Master Berserker when he saw the players who were trying to surround the newcomer.

"Do they honestly think that someone is going to walk around in such a dangerous place alone despite knowing the risks of doing so?" muttered a female Dark Elf while looking at the scene with an amused look on her face.

In the meantime, the Blood Elf sitting across her suddenly raised his eyebrows while looking at the hooded person who seemed to be acting too calm despite being surrounded from all sides.

He stared at the mysterious person for a couple of moments before standing from his seat while saying. "Let's go, Millime. This place is about to become a mess."

"Eh!? We are leaving already? Are we not going to watch? It looks like this one is going to be an entertaining show to watch," said the Dark Elf while pouting her lips.

Hearing that, the Blood Elf paused his actions for a brief moment before replying. "I don't want to be marked by that guy. I am confident that I can protect myself from most of the players no matter how strong they are-…"

His words trailed in the air a little while turning his head towards the hooded player. "But that guy over there is an exemption. Even if you gathered all of the players in the Godlike Ranking List and asked them to fight that player, I can guarantee you that none of them would dare to challenge him."

"You know that person?" asked the Dark Elf as she suddenly became curious about the mysterious player's identity.

The Blood Elf was silent for a few moments before replying with a bitter tone. "I am sure yet since it is only a gut feeling and a little sense of familiarity."

"But given that those old veterans were also starting to leave, I am pretty convinced that he is indeed that person," he added while looking at the other experts lurking around the place.

The moment he said that the LionKin Master Berserker suddenly walked past them before commenting. "How can we forget about him after all of the impossible feats that he did before?"

"We also suffered hell personally in his hands," he added as a shiver suddenly ran through his spine.

"We are all wondering if he really retired from playing any games. But from the looks of it, he is finally announcing his return," said another player while following after the LionKin.

"And his reason for coming here is probably to enter the Underground Arena to get some resources that will aid him in his progress," said the Blood Elf before turning his head at the Dark Elf. "You want to watch something entertaining, don't you? Then you better come with us and head over to the Underground Area to grab the best possible seats that we can get."

The Dark Elf named 'Millime' was confused at first when she heard those words. But when she saw that the others were already walking away from the scene.

In the meantime, the mysterious person suddenly raised his head a little, revealing the smirking smile that he had under the shade of his hood. "Such a boomer. I thought they are at least going to join the fun to make this more entertaining. It has been a while since I saw their faces. Are they not going to greet me at the very least?"

"Well, I guess my reputation is still alive despite me not being active for almost six years," he added with a tone that was obviously praising himself.

Reaching that point, he suddenly remembered some event of the past before laughing with a bitter smile. "Ah~! Such good old days. I was really young back then."

After that, his eyes suddenly turned sharp as he swept his gaze at the players that were attacking him from every direction.

"But before anything else, I should deal with these small fries first," he said smirkingly while looking at the group mockingly. "This shouldn't be too bad for an early exercise."

Swoosh!

After that, he suddenly tilted his head to the side, dodging an arrow that was directed to his head. But despite successfully avoiding the arrow, the hood that was hanging over his head was suddenly lifted due to the gust of wind accompanying the attack.

Then the face of the mysterious player was suddenly revealed. And if Shin and the boys were here, then they would immediately recognize him as he was someone who was living with them.

It was Shin's so-called Senior Brother, David Solomon!

"This is going to be a little interesting!" he said excitedly while wearing a huge grin.

Boom!

...

"Hey! Did you hear? A fight broke out in the seventh street!" said a player walking along the streets of the Black Blood City.

"Heh! What's surprising about it? Isn't it pretty normal for this place to have a fight everywhere?" said his friend while looking at him skeptically.

Unfortunately, that player immediately refuted. "But it is not an ordinary battle that we are commonly seeing here. It is a fight between an individual against all of the 'fishers' of that place!"

"What! All of them? That is impossible! Those players are all level 100 and above! They even underwent their own awakening quests too!" said the other guy with an astounded look on his face.

"I bet that guy is dead right now. Poor guy, dying in this place would cost you 10 levels per death and will also drop everything you have," he added while shaking his head.

"Well, that is where you are wrong. He is not the one who got killed. Instead, he annihilated all of the 'fishers' present in that place!" said the first guy while shaking his head.

"Huh! Impossible! Can a single person win against such a large number of elites?" his friend couldn't hide his astonishment when he heard those words

Seeing his reaction, the other guy suddenly shook his head before continuing. "Shocked? But it is still early for that! Because from what I've heard, the player who is responsible for that event is only level 50."

"What?! Is that even possible?" asked the other guy as he couldn't believe what he just heard.

As those two were discussing with each other, David suddenly walked past them while giving them a sidelong glance. 'The news in here surely travels fast, and it is pretty accurate too. The fight took place on the other side of the city yet it already reached here? I guess the information network of these kinds of places is the same as always.'

After a few moments of walking, David arrived at a certain inn with a black triangular flag hanging on its entrance.

"This must be the place. D*mn! Finding them sure is hard as always," he commented with a bitter smile while looking at the inn.

He then walked towards before being blocked by a huge person. "Sorry, but we are currently out of service."

Hearing that, David raised his head a little to take a quick glance at that person. 'They still love to assign huge guys as their gatekeepers.'

"I would like to rent a room," he said with a calm tone.

The bulky person standing in front of him suddenly frowned his eyebrows when he heard those words, before saying with an annoyed tone. "Didn't you hear me? I said we are not available right now."

David ignored the pressuring aura that was pressing at him before replying leisurely. "Your best room available. The price is not an issue."

The bulky guy was about to lose his patience when he suddenly remembered something. 'An old code? Who is this guy? It has been ages since I heard this code. Or is it just a coincidence?'

Having those thoughts, the gatekeeper suddenly calmed himself down before trying to test the customer in front of him. "For how many people and how long is the stay?"

David suddenly smiled when he heard the question before replying. "Just one. As for how long, I am not sure. As long as you can keep me occupied, I don't care how long it is going to take."

"And the mode of payment?" asked the bulky guy while starting to become a little cautious at the person in front of him.

David started grinning from ear to ear when he learned that this place was still operating just like what he remembered. He then wet his lips a little before replying with a mysterious smile. "You still have everything as always, am I right? Then Deathmatch would definitely be perfect."
