Child Of God

The group that had disappeared at the clap of a hand reappeared on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere.

"Here we are now! Step back a bit please." Rory asked the group that all fell on their butts after the teleportation.

"Did we just teleport?" Warrod asked no even paying attention to Rory.

He and the other founders all looked around and saw nothing but stones and a few dead trees. Teleportation was magic known, but it was incredibly difficult magic to use. And only a hand full of mages had ever been able to accomplish it successfully as of yet.

"And this distance. This isn't even Ishgar anymore, is it?" Precht asked while looking at the sea off in the distance.

"This requires an insane amount of magic to pull off. How did you do it so casually?" Yuri asked Rory while the other was busy inspecting their surroundings.

"Let's just say my family is special. Maybe I'll tell you another time." Rory smiled and waved at them to back off.

"You asked about the thing on Red's arm right? Well show them, and don't forget to introduce yourself." Rory said and looked at Kurama. The fox man nodded and took a step back.

"My name is Kurama, and I am the Nine-Tailed Fox. And this is my true form!" Kurama said and the entire island suddenly started shaking violently. The air around the group got heavy and the founders were immediately forced on their knees.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP!!" Yuri yelled while struggling to remove his face from the ground.

*ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR*

*BOOM*

A massive outburst of magic appeared and the entire island started to fall apart. Trees exploded and cracks started forming all over the island. The group were still forced to stay on their knees. The magic pressure was so intense that they could barely lift their heads to look at Kurama that was changing in front of their eyes.

'I...I HAVE NEVER FELT MAGIC LIKE THIS!' Precht screamed inside his own head. He tried to summon his own magic to counter Kurama's but it was entirely suppressed under this monster fox.

"This is my true form!" A deep and chilly voice spread out and the magic pressure around the group slowly dissipated.

"Y-Y-Your GIANT!" Mavis yelled in pure shock and awe. Like the others, she was also unable to look at him until he stopped releasing his magic.

"And you all are tiny. So don't piss me off or I'll kill you." Kurama had grown even bigger now for some reason so he really towered over them. He was at least a hundred meters in height.

"This is Kurama. My families pet dog." Rory said as she sat upon his head.

Even though she was so far up in the air, her voice was heard perfectly by the founders.

"PET DOG?!" Yuri yelled and fell down on his knees, he began to hyperventilate.

"I am not a pet dog. I swore service to lady Rory, but I am NO PET DOG!" Kurama's voice exploded out and the entire island finally broke apart from just the pressure of his voice.

"I... I see. I.. Am... So.. Sorry for calling... You weird.." Yuri said with much difficulty.

"Do not do it again." Kurama bent down and put his head as close as he could to Yuri.

"Or I'll eat you," Kurama said slowly.

Yuri only nodded and stared at the ground in regret and anxiety. A threat from a giant nine-tailed fox would probably be one of those things that keep you up at night.

"So now you know the deal with Kurama. He is the nine-tailed fox and he is thousands of times stronger then all of you combined. So if you wanna insult him then I would advise you to train for a hundred years first, at least."

Rory said with a cheeky smile. She felt like she had won another battle and it made her feel really good. And also showing off a subordinate with this high of a badass status would make anyone proud.

"And now I will have to ask you to sit tight. A very special someone is coming over to say hello." Rory said and pointed north, in the direction of Ishtar.

"Who is coming?" Mavis asked. She had been quiet most of the time since they arrived. Very unusual for her but she seemed awfully m.a.t.u.r.e and grown-up now.

"A black blue dragon. I think you call him, Acnologia." Rory said casually.

All the founders opened their eyes wide. legends or not, they had all met or seen Acnologia in the past. His fame hadn't disappeared yet.

"Let's band together and maybe we'll stand a chance," Yuri said quickly.

"Yuri, you do see that hundred-meter tall fox right next to us, don't you?" Warrod said and knocked Yuri on the head to check the contents inside of it.

"I know! But this is still Acnologia. You do know how many dragons he killed BY HIMSELF!" Yuri slapped the hand away and turned to Mavis.

"What do you say, Guild Master?" Yuri looked at Mavis that stood there quietly.

"Leave it to Kurama is what I say!" Mavis turned around with a smile and gave Yuri the thumbs up. Immediately you could hear the gigantic fox scoff at the little dispute the founders were having.

"So what do you say? Wanna go? Or should I?" Rory said and pat Kurama on the head carefully.

"I'll gladly say hello. Should be fun." Kurama said. His eyes spotted the black dragon before it could even see the outline of Kurama's massive body. Which only spoke off the superior senses Kurama had over Acnologia.

"Great, then we wait!" Rory said with a smile.
