"AAAA" The sleeping goth goddess that was comfortably resting on the head of the nine-tailed fox woke up.

"That was nice," Rory said and stretched her body properly after this long sleep.

"My lady, have you any idea how long you have slept for?" Kurama that was laying down asked with an amused tone.

"No idea... How long?" Rory asked while observing the surrounding.

"I don't know. I stopped counting a while ago. But at least more then a decade has gone by." Kurama expected a freaked out reaction but Rory just shook her head and said calmly.

"I see. Not so bad then." Rory properly floored Kurama instead of the other way around with her response.

"May I ask. Why did you decide to sleep for so long?" Kurama asked with the same amused smile on his face.

"Those five thousand years that I was living back home, I never ones slept like a mortal. I just thought it would be nice to see how it felt."

"And how are you feeling after years of sleep?"

"I'm surprisingly feeling refreshed and rested. Which is strange since those concepts shouldn't apply to me or my dad." Rory cupped her chin and thought about it.

"You sure are one interesting being, you know that. Doesn't everyone need to sleep?" Kurama loved to sleep so the concept of never sleeping freaked him out.

"I don't. But set that aside for now. We need to figure out where we are and how long we've been asleep." Rory said and stood up and stretched her legs.

"You mean how long you've slept, my lady. I've been awake." Kurama said with a know it all tone.

"You've not slept?" Rory looked down on him like he was mad or something. A look which Kurama didn't seem to appreciate so much.

"I have slept, but not near as long as you, my lady."

"oh, then that's okay. So have anything interesting happened lately?"

"Mavis came by a while ago. Do not ask me how she found us because I didn't bother asking." Kurama said in a lazy tone, and that earned him a light tap on the head from Rory.

"Bad fox! You need to properly information gather. Now tell me what she wanted?"

"Nothing much. She just asked if this island could be turned into something of a third Fairy Tail location. A place to train or hold events and stuff. I said I'll ask you when you woke up."

"Well, that's fine. I suppose we should go and see how the guild is doing."

"First of all, shrink down will you. You will destroy the town if I teleport you in that form." As Rory said it Kurama started to change. His body got covered by a massive pillar of flame. And soon after, a four-meter tall man stood there and looked at Rory.

"How does it feel to be back in human skin again?" Rory smiles at Kurama and jumped on top his shoulder like always.

"I feel shorter!" Kurama tried to familiarize himself with the human body he had not used in quite some time.

"That's all? You went from a hundred-meter tall nine-tailed fox to a four-meter human and all you have to say is that. You're hilarious, Kurama."

"Well, there is something else. How about some clothes!" Kurama referred to the fact that he was standing there fully nude.

That's a good idea. I'll change into something more comfortable at the same time." Rory snapped her finger and a white light quickly covered both of them and disappeared soon after.

Rory was now wearing a black futuristic magical knight outfit with an accompanied robe dr.a.p.ed over her body.

Kurama was wearing a military-style outfit that Rory had been thinking about for some time. This was one style of clothing that she found interested when looking into these stories and worlds. That's why she chose them for them both to wear.

"These look uncomfortable to wear but they are nothing but comfortable. Are they magically enhanced? They look good." Kurama said and felt around the outfit with his hands.

"Of course! They are made to feel and look like the best of the best. Should we go then?" Rory asked the fox man.

"Sure, are you ready, my lady?" Kurama said and pat Rory on the head.

"Don't pet me! Only I can pet people!" Rory said and removed his hand from her head.

"Sorry, I don't know what came over me. I just felt like doing it!" Kurama said with a cheeky smile. All while laughing happily.

"As long as it doesn't happen again. Now hold on to something!" Rory clapped her hands and both of them disappeared in a flash of light.
