Soul society. Home of the soul reapers and by all right, a massive dimension that housed millions upon millions of souls. In the centre of Soul Society lies the Seireitei. A massive circular Shiro that was the home to the soul reapers.

Above the Seireitei a bright beam of black and white appeared and struck down in the air as if it was solid ground. Tier, Merlin and Escanor stepped out of it and it quickly disappeared from view. Maleficent had left this mission to them as she was off dealing with something much more important.

The three of them looked upon the Seireitei and what they saw was a bloody mess. "It would seem that we are now participating in a war. Could we perhaps take part in this before going on to find this Yhwach fellow?" Escanor asked Merlin in a slightly excited tone.

"I believe Yhwach is already here, feel that aura? That has to be him." Merlin said and Tier nodded. Tier was currently in her physical form, but she had no clothes on, instead her bright blue mist covered all the important parts.

"Escanor, Tier, go help the soul reapers. I will personally deal with our recruit." Merlin said in a calm tone while focusing her gaze towards that massive energy source she believed to be Yhwach.

"With p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e, my lady!" Escanor said and disappeared like a lighting bolt. Tier just nodded and disappeared in a burst of extreme speed.

Escanor was casually jogging around the Seireitei looking for a challenge. He felt powerful auras all around him, and he noted the large disparity in strength between these two armies. But he didn't care for the lives of either of the sides. He would not kill a soul reaper because Merlin's orders to help them. But he also refused to seek out fights with weaklings, so he mostly ignored all the soul reapers desperate battles. He was looking for someone to be ignorant enough to challenge him.

As Escanor was travelling around with an air of confidence around him, a lightning bolt appeared from the distance and in an instant, it arrived and struck his body and the collision spawned a huge explosion.

"Nice going, Candice, he didn't look like a soul reaper. Perhaps we should have tortured him for some information first." Giselle Gewelle said with a happy tone.

"Torture? You think too highly of yourself!" Escanor's mighty voice boomed out from the smoke cloud created by the explosion.

"What! No way? He survived my attack!?" Candice said shockingly.

Escanor that was now revealed to the four women standing before him tilted his head, "That was an attack? Felt more like a bug bite." He said in an arrogant tone of voice.

"Let's see how you handle this!" A woman with bright pink hair disappeared using a movement technique. She appeared before Escanor to punch him in the face. But her fist was firmly caught in the palm of Escanor's daylight form.

"As I thought! A bug bite!" Escanor said and his palm caught fire and in under a second half of the woman's body was completely gone, not even ashes remained behind.

"MENINAS!" A young blonde girl with a white cap on her head screamed. She and the rest of the girls were about to move, but they stopped when they saw Escanor reached out and grab onto the head of the pink-haired woman. "STOP!" They all screamed at Escanor, but without hesitation, he crushed the rest of her head that remained after the fire.

"DIE!" Candice acted immediately and summoned lightning from the heavens to strike down on Escanor. "Futile," He said and snapped his finger in Candice direction and before she could react a great pillar of flame appeared from the sky and consumed her, "AAAAAAAAAAAH"! Her short-lived scream echoed out just before even the ashes of her body disappeared.

The blonde-haired girl, Liltotto, appeared behind Escanor and her mouth extended outwards and grew in size and she tried to consume him. "interesting," Escanor said and appeared behind Lilotto before she noticed he had disappeared, and the next second her head found itself in the grasp of Escanor. "I permit you to die now," He said and crushed her skull, and a flame appeared that burned her corpse.

"One left!" Escanor turned to the last girl, Giselle. She glared at him with hate but with a slight tinge of excitement. Escanor appeared in front of her like a ghost and pierced her c.h.e.s.t with his hand, "No use delaying any longer," He said and prepared to burn her. But suddenly he felt something invade his body.

"Stupid muscle head, you're mine now! Become my zombie." She said and vomited out more blood on Escanor.

"Zombie? You're referring to a walking corpse I assume?" Escanor asked in confusion.

"YOU'RE MINE! KILL YOURSELF!" She yelled in anger.

"Kill myself? Why would I ever do that?" Escanor was totally lost on what was going on, but he guessed that it had something to do with that strange energy invading him.

"How can you resist!? You should be mine!" Giselle yelled with bloodshot eyes.

"Hahaha! Ask yourself this. Why would a lion ever obey an ant?" Escanor said with a cruel smile on his face. "AAAAAAAH!" She suddenly started to scream in pain. Escanor's hand was still inside her and right now he was boiling her insides.

"Goodbye, Ant!" Escanor said and proceeded to turn her entire body into ashy nothingness in just a moment.
