Child Of God

"D-Daddy? What the hell!?" Vali lost his composure entirely. Not many things could garner a reaction from him, but this revelation had shaken him to the core.

Bikou's jaw had hit the ground and he was staring like at Ophis like a lovestruck teenage boy. The rest of the team had similar reactions to him, even Fey stood frozen in place. "Ophis is already the strongest, what kind of goddamn monster will her father turn out to be?" Bikou said nervously. The massive black dragon wasn't far now, they could feel the changes in the winds thanks to those enormous wings. But without his knowledge, Bikou had done something truly stupid just seconds ago. Ophis turned around with evil intent present in her eyes.

"Did you badmouth Daddy?" She said in a low hissing tone and her aura started shaking the whole castle, and pieces of the wall broke apart.

"N-N-No... I-I" Bikou shook his head fiercely trying to come up with an excuse but no words came out, he was too afraid to think.

"No, he was not badmouthing him. He was complimenting him, see, calling someone a monster means that they acknowledge that persons strength. Bikou was complimenting your father." Arthur came in just in time and saved the life of the monkey king, Bikou.

"Oh, then it's okay!" Ophis returned to smiling brightly like an innocent child.

'I have never seen her like this. I can't begin to imagine how powerful that black dragon is if it can make Ophis act like a submissive child.' Arthur said to himself while looking at Ophis in her a.d.u.l.t form standing there excitedly waiting for Acnologia to reach the castle.

And it didn't take long for that to happen. Acnologia had arrived at the castle, and thanks to his massive body his head was right in front of the castle and his tale was four hundred meters away.

"H-He is HUGE!" Kuroka, Bikou and Fey fell down on their butts while holding hands and shaking from the fright building up inside of them. Acnologia's eyes were bigger than all the members combined, so it was no wonder they were afraid of him. And standing this close to the black dragon forced them to face his aura, and because of that, Vali could barely remain standing on his feet.

"DADDY!" Ophis didn't hesitate at all. She directly jumped up and landed on his giant head. She immediately ran up and sat down right in front of his right eye. She sat down with excitement bubbling over and a bright smile decorated her face. Acnologia's gaze rested softly at her for a few seconds before saying, "Ophis," and when he said that her smile grew bigger, brighter, and more beautiful.

"YES! I'm here, Daddy!" She leaned in closer like she was waiting for something special.

"Why are you calling me daddy?" He asked in a calm and quiet tone, but his voice was so mighty that the Vali team were forced to cover their ears.

"What do you mean?" She tilted her head and asked curiously.

"What is a daddy?" His voice echoed out, and Ophis eyes lit up in understanding. So she stood up and pointed straight at him, "You are Daddy!" Then she placed her thumb on her c.h.e.s.t and said proudly, "And I am your daughter!" She smiled brightly and her gaze never left him, it was like she forgot the rest of the world when she was looking at him. And in her eyes, you would only find love, admiration, and adoration.

"Hm, I see. Then so be it, daughter!" Acnologia said calmly while resting her gaze at his daughter.

"Oh, have we arrived?" A tired-looking Hanc.o.c.k came walking from behind his head. And immediately landed on Ophis, and she looked at her in confusion.

"What's going on here? Acnologia, who is she?" Hanc.o.c.k asked in mostly confusion.

"She's my daughter, Ophis." Acnologia's stoic voice rang out in her ear.

"WHAT!?" Hanc.o.c.k stumbled forwards and fell on her face, "I go to sleep for a few minutes and you have a daughter!?" Hanc.o.c.k her nose that took the most damage from her little fall.

"I don't see a problem with that," Ddraig also came walking and said.

"You, go and die!" Hanc.o.c.k yelled at him. And while those two continued their argument, Vali's eyes snapped open when he saw Ddraig come walking.

'Albion, are you seeing this?!' Vali asked his partner.

'Definitely do, partner. There's no doubt about it. That's Ddraig alright!' Albion the White Dragon answered through telepathy.

'Where the hell is Issei? How is red walking around freely?' Vali was panicking, but Albion's calming voice rang out in his head.

'I suppose there's no point in hiding it anymore, I always wondered if this day would come someday, and now it has.'

'What are you talking about? You're not making any sense, Albion!' Vali screamed in his mind. But on the surface, you would just see him showing a slightly fl.u.s.tered expression.

'Acnologia, the firstborn. Father of dragons. That's who that black dragon is, and I believe he is here to take my soul. No, after seeing red with him, I am sure of it. And you need to let him take me, it's the only way you'll live.' Albion explained seriously.

'No! No way! We can still run away and try and gather the three factions together. With that, we can combat him!' Vali was feeling the hopelessness build up inside of him.

'Partner, even if you won't show it, I know you're hurting inside. But take a second a second and think about this. You felt Father's aura, you know fighting would accomplish nothing.' Albion's calm but powerful voice rang out in his head.

'Can't you refuse it? Or maybe you actually want to leave!'

'It's not that easy, partner. One part of me wants to stay, and another part wants to go with him.' Albion said slowly.

'I see, so, which one is bigger? Would you rather stay or go?' Vali's sorrow-filled voice echoed out in his own head.

'Sorry partner, but I want to go. Going and serving under the firstborn is a chance you will never get twice no matter how much you search for it. I can't give up and opportunity like this.' Albion said resolutely.

"Then it's decided!" Acnologia's voice suddenly boomed and shook the ground while simultaneously jolting everyone awake from their various stupors. Vali looked up at the black dragon and saw that it was staring back at him, and shock spread through his body.

"You were listening?" He asked Acnologia in shock.

And of course Acnologia nodded ones, "It is simple telepathy. I see through every dragon, and includes a dragon's host." He said to the stunned White Dragon host.

"Lord Father, you heard my reasoning, will you allow this boy to live?" Albion's voice rang out from Vali's c.h.e.s.t area.

"That's fine!" Acnologia said, and without delaying this any longer, his eyes glowed goldenly and Vali got in bright blue light. "AAAAAAH" He fell down on the ground and screamed out in pain. What he was experienced was the removal of Albion's soul from his body, there existed no greater pain than this, at least that was Vali's thoughts at the current moment.

"What are you doing!?" Fey and Bikou stood up and yelled at Acnologia. They were about to rush over to Vali but a powerful pressure appeared and held them down. "No one interrupts Daddy!" Ophis said sternly from her position on his head. Fey and Bikou could only nod and stay standing whilst forced to watch their leader suffer horribly.

It took a few more seconds, but soon Vali's scream quieted down and he fell unconscious. And above him floated a bright ocean-blue coloured soul. It was shaped the exact same as Ddraig's and it rotated there in the air silently.

Acnologia's eyes lit up again and the soul floated over to Ophis, "Hold onto him," Acnologia said sternly.

"Yes, Daddy!" Ophis answered with great amount of enthusiasm.

"We shall be off now," He said and looked at Vali's team, "You should take care of that boy. His soul is fine, but his mind is not." Acnologia got a nod from each member of the team. And when he was about to leave for the dimensional gap, a couple of powerful auras appeared in the air above the castle together with a big red magical circle.

"A teleportation circle. I sense a satan's aura." Ddraig said while sitting in the lotus position on Acnologia's head.

From the circle came six individuals. Four of them were close to the two heavenly dragons, Ddraig and Albion in power but not quite enough to stand as their equals. The other two were much weaker and couldn't be compared to the two dragons at all.

"So this is him, the father of dragons," Said Beelzebub, one of the four satans of the Underworld.

"Truly mighty!" Said Asmodeus, another satan. Albeit they didn't have much time for Rias, who stood behind Lucifer rushed in towards Acnologia with a maddening expression fueled by sorrow. But before she could get far Leviathan gripped hold of her and held her in place. Rias didn't care, she struggled against the hold while screaming towards the black dragon, "Acnologia, why did Issei have to die?!!" She screamed so loudly that Leviathan thought her vocal cords would explode.

On the castle wall, Vali's team stood stunned, "Issei is dead?" Kuroka said with worry. She didn't care one bit about Issei, but there was someone on his team that she cared about more than the world itself. "Apparently he is, I mean look at Rias, she is on the brink of insanity," Bikou said.

Acnologia himself looked over at Rias in confusion, "Who is Issei?" He asked stoically. Rias face went pale and tears started falling from her eyes, she couldn't properly process what he had said.

"Father, Issei was my host," Ddraig said respectfully. He looked at Rias with worry in his eyes. Rias was one of the few people he genuinely grew to care for during his time with Issei so he hated seeing her in this state of mind.

"The screaming half-human, I remember now," Acnologia recalled Issei and his encounter with him. The four satans that saw the man slightly glowing gold looked at him with great shock after they heard what he said, but Rias didn't seem to have cared or even registered it at all.

"Answer me! Why is he dead!!" Rias was close to ripping off her own arms in order to escape. Leviathan wrapped her arms around Rias so that wouldn't actually happen.

"Simple. He degraded and brought disgrace upon the soul of a powerful dragon."

Rias slowly stopped fighting against Leviathan, and instead, she went back to silently sobbing. She floated there in the embrace of Leviathan remaining quiet but biting her lip so hard that it bled. "Bring him back, I need him!" Rias said in a whisper.

"What would you do for it?" Acnologia said suddenly. And Rias looked up with bloodshot eyes, "Can you really bring him back!?" She asked hopefully. But the four satans were frowning, especially Lucifer, Rias big brother.

"What would you do for it?" Acnologia asked casually.

"Anything! I love him more than the world, I love him more than anything, even my own life. I will kill myself if that's what it takes!" Rias said loudly and with determination. But in the middle of this, Lucifers aura flared up angerly, "ENOUGH!"

"Rias, I forbid this from happening and I forbid you from even thinking that thought!" Lucifer said in extreme anger and his aura was suffocating to Vali's team.

But there was always a price to pay for raising your voice towards the Father of Dragons. A white and petite hand buried itself in Lucifer' stomach, and that same hand then gripped him by the throat before he was launched away by the force of that punch. "No one interrupts Daddy!" said the young black-haired woman while holding nothing but contempt and disgust in her eyes as she stared at Lucifer.

"Sirzechs!" Grayfia yelled out in worry, and without thinking about her owns safety, launched herself at Ophis. She gathered magic in her hand and sent a satan level magic blast at Ophis. But Ophis didn't pay it any mind, she raised her other hand and dissolved the magic blast.

"Grayfia get away from her! That's Ophis!" Leviathan yelled quickly, but she was just a little too late to save the silver-haired beauty.

"Enough out of you!" Ophis snapped her fingers and Grayfia was hit by some invisible force and launched down towards the castle and was smashed through the walls of the building.

"Rias Gremory, is that your name?" Acnologia said finally and caught the attention of the remaining Satans.

"Yes! Please revive Issei! Take my life! Do it!" Rias yelled desperately.

"No, Rias! I forbid you!" Lucifer yelled while being held by Ophis, "Quiet, Daddy is talking!" Ophis hit him once again in the stomach.

"I'll do it! I promise!" Rias didn't even listen to her brother. It was exactly as Bikou said, she was on the brink of crazy, or completely madness. Since she refused to accept his death and departure from the world of the living, she had not mourned his death at all, which led to her current state of mind. She had walked around refusing to mourn properly so this here was the result of that.

"I don't want you dead, little one. But you did say something interesting. You said you love him more than the world, can you back that up?" Acnologia said while looking at her.

"Okay, enough of this! Ajuka, Falbium, hold them off, I'm taking Rias away from here." Levithan said to Beelzebub and Asmodeus respectively. The Satans wanted to intervene earlier but Acnologia and Ophis made it difficult for them to find an opportunity to do anything. But now they had no choice anymore. Rias needed to be taken away from here immediately or within minutes she would become nothing more than a mindless and apathetic slave to Acnologia's will. Rias was at the absolute brink of madness and the promise of Issei's revival had almost pushed her over the edge, so the three remaining free Satans knew Rias could not be allowed to stay here a second longer.

"Got it!" Both Satans answered her and flashed in front of her and stood defensively in against Acnologia. Leviathan knocked out Rias and took off into the distance.

The black dragon looked at them in amus.e.m.e.nt, "Hanc.o.c.k, Ddraig, take care of those two Satans."

"Got it!" they both said and flew down from his head toward the two male Satans. Acnologia turned towards Vali's team and said, "Death is coming to this world very soon. Join me and death will show mercy on you, and I will allow you to also see the true world. The true vastness of existence." His voice came with great pressure that made it harder for them to breath.

Awkwardness spread through the team as they all glanced at their unconscious leader. No one stood up or sat down, nor did anyone say anything in response. This was until Arthur went down on one knee and said, "What do you require of us, lord Acnologia?" he looked back at his team and with one quick resolute stare they also knelt down on their knees. "What do you require, lord Acnologia!" They said in unison, even Kuroka performed the bow seriously.

"Go fetch Rias Gremory, if you succeed you have the chance for immortal life and endless servitude under me, The Father of Dragons. Now go!" He said to them sternly.

"Yes, my lord!" Arthur said and he and the rest of his team flashed away after Leviathan.

'Lady Maleficent was right. Controlling and destroying worlds must truly be the greatest joy in life. I am quite eager to see the potential of Rias Gremory.' Acnologia laughed lightly to himself.
